Called PPL today tegarding my bill which seemed high this month. Gentleman in customer service was exceptionally kind and helpful. Explained all aspects of my bill with me and made helpful suggestions to lower cost by shopping for electricity. Very happy with your kind and informative service !!

We had a power outage. We called and they came right away and restored it.

PPL has been the only company to show any compassion towards me during my struggle with SLE lupus. Not qualifying financially for any help, I either fell between the guidelines of making too much or didn't meet the eligibility requirements. I was and still fighting a flared artery in neck muscle due to car accident two years ago, and trying to heal, and hopefully get this lupus back in remission so my monthly infusions become more effective, and again PPL didn't have to lighten my situation at all and they have. They have been patient with me, as my days w/ my health are unpredictable. Their customer service has been kind, understanding, and always respond to my emails. Yesterday , I had procedure done, involved shots in my head, today PPL knocked , I was to be turned off, I completely forgot with being in pain and sick. The guy spoke to my daughter, and couldn't be anymore genuine and understanding. I'm extremely thankful for PPL as they deserve to hear how much their kindness, compassion has helped me while not one other company has. I truly appreciate your services. I'm extremely thankful

Great company and one of the largest employers in Allentown.

Coatumer service lower points i been more than 2 hours waiting to be assisted. But they are so fast to contact you to get payments.

Our jobs have been outsourced to the Fillipines. Thats where you are being transferred to... so they can pay them less and make more money off of you by providing you with less service. Called 6 times this week and waited over 2 hours in total, one call I waited an hour. then hung up. By all means, keep raising the prices and cutting services and jobs. good look for you PPL.

Moved into my place awhile back and got ppl.. took them 4 months just to send me my first bill that was all stacked.. if you enjoy getting screwed over with bills and being backed up this is the place to go. No help ever and and so disorganized it's unbelievable that this goes on. Joke of a company

Absolutely, without a doubt, the WORST utility of any kind that I've ever had to deal with ! From outages and billing to service -- this company is the worst on every level -- so much so that I'm actually considering selling our house in order to escape their service area.
They're completely unreliable, rates are excessive and they are incompetent in handling outage problems !

I'd give them 0 if I could, been getting billed under an incorrect meter number and since the new year the amount is quadrupled per month. It's obviously not my bill, but 3 calls over 2 months later and still nothing done, no change to the account, just nothing.

Beyond frustrated - starting mid November through January 7 it is showing my KWH in the high two hundreds. Normal usage is 36 or less. I've called with a promise of a return phone call, waited a week called again - same promise. Almost two weeks later no return phone call. Everytime I talk with the billing department they say I need to be connected to the "energy" division to address my problem. They inform me they cannot transfer my call due to technical difficulties. Seriously, this is the 21st century. I find it frustrating talking with the billing department as they sound as if they are reading from a script. Also not sure where there call center is located but I find their service reps are difficult to understand due to their accents. In all fairness they are very polite. My new budget is now $700+ a month based on these incorrect readings. It is due April 3rd which I have no intention of paying anything more than my regular budget amount. Going to contact the PUC.

I am so so so so very sick off these big corporations, PPL included hiring folks overseas for pennies, however charging their U.S customers am absorbent monthly service cost, d when you try to ll the office to ask why your monthly bill is so expensive you unable to speak with a PPL customer service rep that you understand what they're talking saying due to their thick accent. My bill as gone from less the $200. per month now it's over $400. per month and I'm on a fixed income. That's criminal!! Robbing United States seniors!!! PPL should be shamed. Their shame is $'s in their pockets.
