I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about everything they have to offer. The space is unique and inviting. The owners are lovely and are always around to chat and make sure everything is running up to their standards. The food speaks for itself. Everything I have had here (from sandwiches and salads at lunch time to appetizers, pasta, dessert and cocktails at dinner time) has been amazing! I eat out quite often and I haven’t been this excited about a restaurant in a while. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful addition to our local restaurants selection. I would even call it a destination restaurant if you want to have lunch, do some shopping or have dinner and see a band on Friday at the city park. Small sandwiches are shareable if you wish. Pastas taste like they were hand made by your grandma!! Skip the chains and order carry out make a reservation you won't be disappointed. Pictures below is the Caprese Sandwich with Ceasar Salad.

A friend and I ate at Mio last week and ambiance was nice, food very good and service quick. I had house salad and spaghetti & sauce very tasty. My friend had the shrimp salad and loved it. So nice to have a quality neighborhood restaurant in Edwardsville. Will visit again soon!

What a wonderful, authentic Italian place in Edwardsville. I ordered the roasted cauliflower as an appetizer- amazing. My main dish was the salmon with pasta & white sauce — holy cow. My new favorite restaurant! My best friend and I sat at the bar & had the most incredible experience. Besides the food being fantastic, the servers & bartenders went above & beyond. We also sat next to the most wonderful couple from Troy who let us try some of their dish & we shared great conversation with them throughout our dinner. I cannot express how amazing the atmosphere here is. 10/10 will most certainly be a repeat customer! Thank you!

Iv been a follower of Micah’s food for awhile, he is an amazing chef! The pistachio sauce was delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes :-)

Delightful dining experience. The wait staff was professional and upbeat. The food was fabulous. Perfectly cooked with amazing flavor. We all enjoyed our meals immensely.

I visited for lunch on my birthday. I enjoyed the choose 2 option with soup and pasta. Everything my mother and I had was delicious and I can’t wait to visit again for dinner and cocktails!

You need to make a reservation, as the place is not huge. Looking forward to trying the lunch menu. Compliments to the owners!

Scallops were 10/10. Atmosphere was lovely, and our server was very sweet. Will be back!

Excellent food and service. Best Italian in the neighborhood. Would have been 5 stars but they really need some type of window covering. It was around 5:30 or so and the sun was beating in my side of the tables eyes. You seriously couldn't see anything. Other than that, which lasted about 45 minutes, the place was perfect.

The food was excellent. I got the chicken marsala; my son got the ravioli. This is a hidden gem that far exceeds Bella Milano's quality in town.

Food was excellent!! Great service! Menu limited but plenty of options!! Would have liked to seen some cannoli on the menu!! My sister in law ordered chicken without breading and the chef actually came to the table and ask her how she wanted it prepared!! Will definitely go back!!

Had an early dinner and they did not disappoint. The roasted cauliflower appetizer was exceptional. I could have happily eaten that with bread and a glass of wine for just my dinner. I opted to get the eggplant lasagna as my main. The sauce had a wonderful rustic look and taste. The eggplant just melted in your mouth. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The dining areas are cozy. My only concern was the noise level and high ceilings made it a bit hard to hear what my companion was saying. I plan on trying their lunch menu soon. What a great addition to the Edwardsville area.

Have been several times!! Love this restaurant! The food is high quality, delicious and served in generous portions. Cute decor and love the outdoor dining option. Great service and location!

Came here for dinner for the first time tonight. While we were asked if we had a reservation (we didn’t) we were able to sit over at the bar. Server/Bartender was very polite and gave us menus from the get go. The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet (we showed up a little after 5 pm, so the crowd wasn’t that packed in yet). Overall I really enjoyed coming here and I look forward to my next visit here!

We stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. Service was top notch, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. We ate from the lunch menu, both got the half sandwich and salad, and were both very pleased. The portions were more than expected and the food was very tasty. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

My wife and I just finished dinner there a bit. They had a full house of reservations at 6. Luckily we arrived at 5pm and were able to get a spot without a reservation. The food was phenomenal. My wife ordered the house special (Chicken Mudega) I had the pescatori diablo, and our 10 month old daughter had the ravioli pomodoro. We share the bruschetta as an appetizer. Everything on the table was great. We Will 100% be returning for a date night just the wife and I. Prompt and gracious service and wonderful flavors.

We decided to try out the newest "kid" in town last night with our friend. I ordered the house salad and my guests ordered the Caesar salad. We each tried different main dinner menue items. I had the eggplant appetizer with a side order of pasta and my guests ordered the spaghetti and the fettuccini. All the meals were absolutely fantastic and full of flavor. The service was good as well. Our waiter was very attentive. My only suggestion (which is why I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere) was that the dining area was too dark (and NO i am not elderly!!). In fact it was too dark to be able to reach the menu. I had to use my phone light. It was also a little hard to talk due to the noise. Overall, excellent and we will be back very soon.

Love this place! The food was excellent. I have to say the dinner salad was delicious! Our waiter was very attentive. The staff was friendly and respectful. I enjoyed hearing some good old music by Blue Eyes and others. This is a must try restaurant!

this place is by far the best dinner/night out experience in edwardsville. you can see directly in the kitchen, the wait staff is honest and friendly, and my meal was customizable which was an added bonus as well! the ambience, lively yet homey atmosphere provides a very comfortable meal and a delicious one at that. it blows all other italian restaurants in edwardsville out of the water period. loved it and will be going back!

i ordered the spaghetti with the tomato cream sauce and bruschetta. not typically a tomato gal but i couldn’t even taste the hard iron in tomatoes and the bruschetta was so delicious!
