Bob's Auto Repair and Towing

My Subaru Outback was having intermittent starter issues. I got in contact with Bob's, and Daniel was very responsive on the phone. Brandon came to tow it to the shop, and even tried boosting my battery beforehand in case that was the issue. The mechanic Kyle was very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to explain things and answer my questions. Also very open and communicative over the phone while he was working on it. Sadie at the front desk is very nice, too. Had it towed over Wednesday morning, and it was ready to go the next day. Very thankful for these guys!

I was in Corvallis, from Vancouver, WA. My battery was dead, had been jumped, and died twice before I even moved the car. AAA sent Bob’s towing. The driver took a personal interest in my dilemma, and was even able to tell me that it wasn’t my alternator, as had been suggested by others. Then, instead of towing me to a repair shop, he suggested a battery replacement and showed me that I would be able to get there on my own.
Great support for me. Good referral. And no tow! Amazing!

The young man who came to my aid broke the mold. He had a WW2 work ethic and took pride in his job. That combined with knowledge beyond his years made for a smooth tow which could have easily went the other direction. Very impressed. Maybe there is hope yet for our future. Had a dead battery, and no way to get it jumped myself. Called these guys, and within 10 minutes, I was good to go. Super friendly guy showed up, guy I spoke with on the phone was very polite and obviously very efficient at getting someone out to me immediately. Price was about $100 less than I was anticipating, so it was a seriously wonderful surprise, considering the first surprise of my day was absolutely terrible😂

It’s 3 AM and it’s pitch black out. No cell phone service for 6 miles and I decide to square up with a guardrail.

I had Bob's Auto hunt down some electrical issues that completely stranded me. The technician straightened that out along with some other problems that come with an engine over 250k miles. I was in communication with the person working on my truck and was informed of all progress daily. Their customer service is awesome and prices are fair. You're going to have to pay for a mechanic, you may as well get a quality one.

Brandon went ABOVE AND BEYOND, to get my car to the shop. After a series of (somewhat comical) events, my car got safely there, and I have him to thank. I felt safe and cared for. I will recommend Bob’s to anyone who needs a tow!

Brandon and his colleague did a masterful job recovering our SUV after it ended up off the road down an 80% grade ~40 feet from the road side slotted between a bunch of trees. Masterfully pulled it up avoiding all trees and safely returned it to us. AAA wouldn't cover it (which is how were go connected with Bob's) because of the nature of the location and while we were willing to pay the $800 Bob's quoted because of the very tricky location, when they completed the work in less than 30 minutes, they ended up only charging us $350 because it took less time than they anticipated (when was the last time you ever paid LESS than a quote???). Brandon stayed late on his shift so we could pull it out on the weekend (rather than waiting until Monday) because they needed two trucks. He also did an excellent job communicating the day before and was just generally great to work with. Highly recommend.

Towed my work van to our fleet mechanic after fuel delivery issue caused failure to start. Prompt service, professional and skilled operator, reasonable price.

I wish I remembered the gentlemen’s name but, he was such a sweetheart. Got me from point A to point B with no issue. Whole drive we had great conversations, greatly appreciated his company. He worked efficiently and safely. The boss who I spoke with on the phone was an amazing helping hand and gave me a discount which I couldn’t appreciate more. Bob’s Auto Repair and Towing has never disappointed me. They are all very hard working and gets the job done asap. Car broke down just before i5 entrance. Jason answered all of my questions and guided me through the process very smoothly. Truck arrived fast and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. Would recommend.

Pretty sure I paid 2 1/2 times the going rate by using an out-of-state clearing house to request a local tow, but the driver was courteous and they arrived within 15 minutes of our calling, so I can't complain

Brandon did a great job keeping our heavy vehicle safe while successfully getting it to the destination. He was courteous and had a great attitude!

Took my car there because of a rodent problem, back in early December. The moment I mentioned my car make and model, Kyle assured me he knew the fix, and sure enough, rodents haven't visited my car yet. Cheers to him.

The transmission in my Lexus ES started to go bad in the middle of a long work drive from Portland to Newport. My car sputtered & died in Corvallis, and I needed to have AAA tow it to the nearest repair shop. Bob's not only sent the tow truck driver to pick me up, but let me keep my car there over the holiday weekend after they closed, to perform the diagnosis when they re-opened on Tuesday. They got to it on the day they said they would, and did not pressure me to get any unnecessary work done (knowing I wasn't going to replace the transmission in a 2013 car that had run its course). Bob's let me keep my car there safely for several days free of charge, until I could buy a new car and find a buyer to pick up the dead Lexus. During the entire ordeal; Kyle, Sadie, and everyone I spoke with at Bob's was professional, courteous, and did not ever make me feel like a burden having my car there. This could have been a very stressful experience, but they made it surprisingly pleasant and positive because of their willingness to work with me and go above & beyond. I would use Bob's Auto in the future if needed, and even go out of my way to Corvallis based on the experience I had. Highly recommended, thank you!
