I'm sad this place is not better known! The service, even with my kids (son has autism) they were fantastic! The owner even came out to talk with us and said she's been open for 2 years! This food is way too good not to brag about! The Nashville chicken loaded Frys, bacon cheese burger, and the ultimate 6 cheese grilled cheese where all a huge hit with my family of 4. My kids got to try Italian cream soda for the first time, something I had as a child so cool. Seriously, yall come check them out, so incredibly worth it! They have a brewery next door that you can have your food brought to!!!!

Honestly, hells yeah to this place! What a gem to find in the midst of the Mid-American brainless chain restaurant drivel that comprises most of Neosho. The burgers were huge and flavorful and juicy! I had 11 in my party, and we all had different burgers from the PB&J to the Donut Burger, and all were well crafted and possessed that indelible quality of the flavor that only handmade, homemade food has. I loved the staff! They were fun and responsive and quick and laid back. The bathroom was clean and oddly adorable. Just the whole dang place is such a WIN for Neosho!!!

We ate there for lunch today the cashier was super friendly. Our food was delicious and the restaurant was so neat. I feel for the food you get the price is great.

5-STAR Stopped in with a large party for dinner and drinks. Great atmosphere, food and beer and service! One of the Best places in all of Neosho. Check out the Airbnb upstairs if you are looking for a place to stay as well.

Hands down the best dining experience I have had in some time. The staff was amazing and so personable, made ordering as fun as the food. Food tasted outstanding!! Will absolutely be back!

There are a lot of vegetarian options, which I really appreciate since I haven't had meat for 35 years. This place reminds me of my home in Seattle, a little quirky, good music, and good food. Thank you to the owner for not catering to the mid west stereotype, and thank you for the good lunch. I really appreciate it.

Holy cow...gather all of your pickle loving friends because the pickle dip here is so good! It's light & creamy with the perfect amount of sourness. The pickle bits add a nice crunch. If you take it to-go, give it a good stir so that the pickles aren't settled at the bottom of the container. The kettle chips pair well with this dip, plus they give extra (: I'm obsessed with mac & cheese too, so I had to try theirs and I must say it's also delicious! Very cheesy and plentiful portion. The to-go boxes they have are super convenient; I live in Arkansas (about an hour away) and when I got home and opened up the box, the mac & cheese was still warm! The people that work here are kind and the building itself is very cool! So glad I found Briar & Thistle 🙏 I'm looking forward to trying a bunch more different foods on the menu!

The wait staff was friendly. They have a nice variety of food. We got a mushroom and Swiss burger and small chicken macaroni. They were both very good. There was a healthy portion of chicken on the macaroni and cheese. Enough chicken to fill up the tummy and not be able to eat all the macaroni.

We had such an excellent time last night celebrating our son's birthday. Food was fantastic, huge portions and 2 of them ordered The Dad, each being a bit different. Great Apple Pie cider. We had fun playing some of the table games with little ones. Heard in the car, "I could live in Neosho."

I have never eaten anything here that isn’t completely delicious! This is definitely a hidden gem in Neosho and I highly recommend giving it a try. Keep an eye on their social media for their special dishes that are available for a limited time, such as the wonton nachos, which are so incredible I almost don’t want other people to know about them!

Thank goodness for Briar & Thistle. The owner is truly and genuinely interested in your experience. I have many food sensitivities making it almost impossible to eat out. This is one of the only restaurants I trust in SWMO. Compared to other restaurants it’s surprising how much they care. My husband really liked the pbj burger and my new favorite is the garbage nachos.

This is the second time I’ve been here and I have to say the food is delicious! And Adrianne (the owner) is kind, sweet and welcoming—also fun to be around. Each table has a game to get people to put their phones down and interact with each other. Oh!! AND they have Gluten free bread so all of us gluten free folks don’t have to just stick with salad! :)

I got the farm house club on gluten free bread with kettle chips and cucumber salad as my sides. Yummy yummy in my tummy!!

Amazing!! Every!!!! Time!!!! Always delicious food and very kind staff. Always a smile and a laugh heard through the building. We've done pick up and dine in and it is always such an awesome and amazing experience and food is always sooo good!!!!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, board games at every table to play while you wait. Super unique menu with top notch food! Must try the loaded fries, they dont disappoint!

Excellent Sunday Brunch! We got the biscuits & gravy (chorizo gravy YUM) and the donut burger (absolutely decadent) and envied the smart folks around us getting “beertails” (ISBC-made beer-based cocktails resembling a Bloody Mary, a mimosa, etc). We’re looking forward to trying the “hangover bowl” and the avocado toast next time. 😎

We were in Neosho for business and found this unexpected gem on the square. The chalk board outside said “Suns out Buns out” which let us know straight away that this place would suit us. The 5* reviews confirmed it. And so it was. The service was welcoming. The air was cool and the menu variety perfect. My mate and I had excellent burgers and potato salad and an old fashioned cream soda. My beautiful wife had a chicken salad with perfect mixed greens and proper chicken. There is a bar with live music next door and an Airbnb above. All run by the same owners. Clearly Neosho is on the up and up. We live 20-minutes away and will be back.

Very interesting menu choices. Love the French fries bowls. Will definitely be back to try more.

We picked up our Thanksgiving dinner today and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for providing this service in Neosho. We love your restaurant! Keep up the great work.
