Town’s Edge Diner

This is a hidden gem in Carlinville. They weren’t expecting 10+ people, but they handled us well. The view of the golf course we nice. The food was good. I had the beef taco salad and chef salad. Nice size portions. Speaking of large portions, you should try the hamburgers. They are huge! If I’m back here I will definitely stop in.

If you leave here and are still hungry, we'll then, that's on you.
They serve very tasty food, and their portions are most certainly not insubstantial.

We were in Carlinville for the weekend. I had the ribeye the first night. Very flavorful. Great service.
Breakfast the next morning was good.
Saturday night had the sloppy Joe. There tater tots are too notch.
If you're in Carlinville, don't miss this restaurant.

Stopped for a late lunch, too full after to eat supper!! Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, atmosphere was great!!

We had the Buffalo breaded chicken horseshoes & the D's western burger everybody really enjoyed their food . We are definitely going back .

We took a drive and went through Carlinville and found your restaurant, food was so good I hade the chicken with maple syrup and hubby hand your hand breaded tenderloin!! If we get back your way sometime we will stop back in. Our waitress was amazing by the way!!

Great people . The owner is amazing and they have a banquet hall for parties and I love it . I have held 2 parties here and will continue to do so with all the grandkids birthdays .

We had a wonderful lunch here with family on Monday. The food was great and the wait staff was so pleasant! We took up our table for a couple of hours and no one made us feel rushed at all. This is the fourth time we have eaten here, and each time has been delightful.

A sunday lunch. With all you can eat fried chicken or fried pork chops. Mash ed potatoes and gravy, vegetable and applesauce for $14.50. Had the opportunity to try both. Found both well prepared and very tasty. Wait staff was excellent prompt and very attentive. Extremely friendly. For my first visit. It was excellent and most enjoyable. Definitely will be back.

Best hamburgers we have probably ever had! They were made in house, seasoned and cooked perfectly, and served hot! We will definitely be back again!

This is a fantastic local diner/restaurant. It posseses a clear homey atmosphere. The food is fantastic, had a pony shoe, which should have been labeled as a horse shoe...first time I haven't been able to finish a pony shoe meal...service was outstanding!!!

Food took a bit to get but it was plentiful and good.. The burger I got was big...The salad my niece got was very big...Would come back again...Decent prices

Food is amazing. Staff is awesome! My husband and I go there often for dinner, especially Wednesday night for homemade meatloaf 😋

Great place for C'ville! Ribeye was delicious. Waitress was fast & friendly. Prices were reasonable. Will be back!
