Amazing people wooow. Food truck darn you have to do it. Food was great, people making food were so nice. You can’t go wrong.

I used to go to the high school nearby, and my friends and I came here for open campus lunches. Friendly service, bright interior, and huge portions! I recommend the cheesy chimmi, the fajita burrito (medium spice was still mild, so ask for higher if you like spicy), or camarones a la diabla. The picture is of the fajita burrito... after I ate most of it lol

On contrary to the negative reviews, the food here is legitimately authentic. Not Americanized like most are familiar with. If you are expecting the food you get from other Hispanic restaurants, this is the wrong place for you and your expectations are misaligned to real food.
My team and I went here strictly because of the negative reviews. We had to investigate the claims. Tapatio with chunky tomato claim was the best. We travel 1/2 the year and eat at many places ranging from mass chains to micro ma and pa locations.
The food is amazing. Nothing I can compare it to other than a Hispanic family reunion eat out. I wanted to return for photos to provide but sadly they were closed. It wouldn’t do the flavoring of the food justice anyways.
We spoke with the “Ma” (Owner) of the place and got some insight on the background of the place and about her husband. Very interesting story and the final piece was the authentic environment to the culture in which the place depicts.
The sauces are true to their claim. Fresh and made daily. You can not get the flavor profile the sauces provide without it being fresh. Be careful of the deep red hottest sauce. If you can’t handle hot stuff, it’s not for you. Trust me on this. It was delicious and wish this place was closer to my home as I would be a regular.
Thank you for the amazing experience and providing my team and I with a memory we will speak on for years. Especially when venturing to other Hispanic restaurants 😂.

Once again another perfect meal at North Meets South! The food is so amazing here. I’ve never had a bad meal here! Delicious!!

The food here is always amazing! They can customize your order to anything you desire our need for dietary reasons, very accommodating. It is a family run restaurant and the staff is always great with a good memory off the last time we came in even if it's been a while. I can never get enough of their guacamole or chips or all you can eat tacos, or really anything.

The food here is fantastic. The people are awesome. They even have a selection of groceries and goodies here that are uncommon to find other places. Love the burritos and Ben's Enchiladas. The Molé is delicious too. Don't forget to get some fresh guacamole too.

I don't know how I found out about this place or how anybody else did for that matter - they are literally a hole in the wall in a small town. That being said, I'm glad I did. Their food is amazing and the owner is equally amazing. We order their food regularly and have never been disappointed. It's tough finding legit Mexican food in our area - this place rocks.

I just personally love it there, the food rocks, always consistent, and it's a super family friendly environment.

DJ’s has great authentic Mexican food. Cooked to order so don’t be in a hurry. Sit back and enjoy the friendly service always with a smile and a soccer game on the TV. The wait is well worth it.

A small, cozy restaurant divided into & couple of rooms, DJ's always serves fresh & delicious Mexican food. Jenny & David are friendly & charming hosts with welcoming smiles. You can also buy handmade Guatemalan crafts as well as items for your Mexican pantry. 5-stars for the enchiladas with mole & the tamales wrapped & cooked in traditional corn husks.

Amazing surprise to find this gem in lil Baldwin. Maybe the best mole I've had in this part of the world. All hand made. The owner (Jenny, I think?) is the kindest business owner/human I've met in this town. You'll feel right at home the moment you walk in!

Jenny the owner is very personable and takes great care in crafting delicious, authentic Mexican food. The menu incorporates suggestions from the local patrons. Well worth a stop if you are in Baldwin.

Been coming here for a few years. Service is always impeccable. I only come on every few months but they always remember my order! Plus the food is outstanding!

DJ's has a very simple, warm, homey vibe. As someone who's visited small family restaurants in Mexico, DJs makes me feel like I've just stepped back across the boarder in all the best ways. The food here is great too, with their guacamole being a traditional dish that my wife and I always look forward to whenever we pass through Baldwin. I have yet to sample every dish, but from their tamals to their enchiladas, everything is cooked with love and great flavors. I cannot reccomend enough.

Very tasty authentic Mexican food! I had the Enchiladas Verdes and fresh Guacamole, very good and would recommend. Friendly staff, will visit again!
