La La Land Kind Cafe

A nice coffeeshop that has a minimalist decor with bright yellow color pop ups in cups, machines etc. The drinks are unique, their matcha combinations are quite good. The only thing I would change is to give option for sweetness. My hot matcha was too sweet for my taste. There is ample outdoor sitting area and also few seats indoors. The parking in this area might be an issue during weekends.

This place is wonderful ! Warm inviting atmosphere with a nicely curated music selection. Comfy seating indoor and outdoors. A small selection of baked goods is provided as well as their more popular variety of specialty toasts, which looked good but a little pricey for toast with fruit/avocado. I ordered the cloud latte which was delicious comes in a fun cup and reasonably priced. There are a ton of specialty coffee and matcha options, all kinds of fun creations with what seemed to me less sugar than a Starbucks might put in one. The barista had accidentally made me a cloud matcha latte as well and gave it to me for free so I was very happy to be able to try both since I was torn between the two and it was also delightful. Milk alternatives are unfortunately extra here. They also have a section of merchandise like candles, phone cases, hats etc. Great place to hang out and get some good coffee.

The display of yellow mugs reminiscent of honey on the white walls is a nice touch, and the staff are all friendly.
This shop is crowded with locals. Sweet cream and fruit on lightly toasted bread, just the right amount.
The packaging is red during the holiday season. This is nice too.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! My husband and I both got the La La Latte and they were fantastic. Our barista was super nice and the shop itself is so aesthetically pleasing and cute!

Tasty unique drinks with ample indoor and outdoor seating. We had the butterfly matcha latte and pumpkin chai latte (seasonal at the time) which were so good! Glad they have lots of dairy alternatives too.

I love La La Land, very cute place. Atmosphere is nice and refreshing. Love their coffee. They have outdoor and indoor sitting. Very busy place even on weekdays still the service is very good and fast.

Just awesome - absolutely a great place for coffee and breakfast. The staff is so nice and friendly and I love the atmosphere. The La La Latte is so good, especially the milk foam: they call it cloud. If you taste it, you’ll know why. Also the espresso is pretty good. The Banana Chia is among the best I had so far. But also the avocado toast is pretty good. It’s quite expensive, though, but I’ll come back for sure.

A cafe that does good and has drinks that taste good? We love to see it. Came here for a matcha afternoon pick-me-up after the Santa Monica stairs and it was a good decision. There is a long line but it moved fairly quickly. You order at the counter and then they’ll call your name. There is indoor and outdoor seating available but it was bustling, so we took our drinks elsewhere. We got the La La Matcha latte which came with a cloud (foam on top). They do have milk alternatives including almond and oat available for an extra charge. I got mine with the recommended nonfat milk and it was delicious.

They do serve food. You could theoretically study here but it was pretty noisy. There are restrooms available. Metered street parking. The guy who took my order was super friendly. I will come back here next time I’m in the Montana area.

Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere! Really enjoyed their cups and napkins - very clean and bright brand! Great menu options, making it a nice meeting spot to accommodate varying preferences.

Visiting from out of town. Had brunch at a lovely restaurant down the block,The courtyard kitchen. Looked up a coffee place in the area. I ordered their holiday drink, crème brûlée latte. Cashier was nice and gave me recommendations for the area as well. I received my drink, took one big sip and all I tasted was what were coffee grounds. I had thought it was the caramelized sugar. But upon closer inspection, they were coffee grounds. I showed the cashier and she was so nice! I showed her what was in my drink and they offered to remake it or make something else. I ended up getting something else. The strawberry field matcha latte. Omg that was even more delicious!!! I loved it. And this place is a must visit. Will be coming back next time I’m in town for the eats and to try other things on their menu. Thank you so much!

Parking was free for an hour if you visited the cafe. They were having a collab pop-up, so the decorations inside were these lovely paper cut out butterflies all around the cafe. The two special drinks for the pop-up were both really tasty, but were around the same price as normal drinks.

Everything on the menu looks amazing. Everyone working here is kind, happy and helpful. Our order was taken by this lovely girl with a great attitude. Their coffee shop is very cute and matches the vibes of Santa Monica. The story behind this coffee shop is astonishing and will bring a joy to your day. There is plenty of parking all around, furry babies are welcome. #TipGenerously

La La Land Kind Cafe has by far the best coffee in LA! Try the la la latte - it will not disappoint. Super random, but the spout on the iced coffee lid is actually the best thing to ever exist!

They also have the best VIBES of any coffee place I have ever been to! Their entire mission is to normalize kindness (just wait until you see the merch).

Run, don't walk, if you are anywhere near a La La Land :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Thé vibes and the employees are POPPIN. The coffee is delicious and the milk choices are amazing. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, extra sweet with that milk is half 2% milk and half cream- BOMB

White and yellow, bright and upbeat cafe at a corner. Can’t be missed.

Tried the Strawberry field matcha oat latte. They use chobani oat milk, for those who are particular about needing to be “oatly” barista lol. Refreshing drink, slightly sweet, so if you want authentic matcha, stay away from colorful flavored drinks.

Also tried the ham and cheese croissant, good. Consistent with coffee house pastry quality.

I would definitely recommend this cafe for those traveling in the area or for locals; already very popular with locals. Lines can be quite long.

Seatings outside and inside, the windows are opened to outside, connecting outdoor space with indoor; love that, very Cali vibe.

SO CUTE! It has such socal vibes, and I loved their wide selection of matcha drinks. I tried the lavender matcha latte and the lalaland matcha latte (has hazelnut syrup), and they were both perfectly sweet. It honestly did not have that much matcha flavor in it, but it was still a very tasty drink. And they validate an hour of parking :) I think the only downside was that everyone their was on their laptops working (on a Tuesday at 2 pm), and their were no empty tables. But I definitely will be back to try more drinks!

Welcome to our neighborhood! What a wonderful oasis on Montana with a great mission. Love the delicious avocado toast, beautiful drinks and relaxing ambiance! And the staff and owner Francois are super friendly and courteous.
