I used to wait for those huge discount coupons for framing that came from the big chain stores so I could save lots of money. During the pandemic those services were suspended due to “supply chain issues”. That’s when I turned to a local business to have an art piece framed for a gift. I was concerned about the cost as the piece was relatively large and of course I had no coupon. Patty at Allerton helped me pick out a frame to match our home decor and a mat that complimented the artwork perfectly. Patty’s talent for framing is only matched by her work ethic and kindness. In addition to exemplary service the prices are better than the chain stores even with their discounts!

There are plenty of places that give you good customer service but Patty at Allerton Framing takes it to an astronomical level. You are bringing her your art and she cares for it as if it’s her own. She is not only framing your art, she is adding art to your art. The kind of care and service I’ve gotten here has made it hard to go to other establishments, for anything, because places just do not give you the kind of attention and craftsmanship that Patty does. I would say Allerton Framing is so good that it’s unfair to other businesses but I love it too much to ever want it to stop!

My husband brought an old framed print to Patty at Allerton to get the back repaired. She was tremendous! She explained what kind of frame it was, she repaired the print and replaced the backing. She did great work, and was friendly and accommodating- we recommend using Allerton for any of your framing needs- we definitely will!

Patty is an absolute joy to work with. I have never had anything professionally framed before but needed a Canvas wedding painting of my wife and I framed in time for our 1 year anniversary (which was 3 days away). I spoke with Patty for 10 mins on the phone where she explained to me what type and where I could get an open back frame that would fit my artwork because 3 days was not enough time to make one internal at her shop. She consistently texted me when I needed to send additional dimension information to ensure everything would be perfect when I arrived at her shop.

As soon as I arrived she was welcoming and professional. She is a skilled artist and craftsman who seamlessly completed my project as I watched. Patty is a one of a kind person with one of a kind outstanding talents. I bring all kinds of artwork here- I make three dimensional art out of circuit boards and other pieces that are very difficult to work with never mind frame. I always trust that all of my things come out amazing and they always do. I just picked up some circuit board art she finished and it looks incredible. If you want anything framed, go to Patty. Allerton framing is inexpensive in my opinion considering the time she puts into each piece and the quality. 5 stars without a doubt.

Patty does an amazing job. She matted and framed several pieces for me but the best was an engraving from the 1700’s. It is beautiful and I have it in a place where I can look at it every day. I think she posted it to Facebook (Meta??).

Extremely friendly and helpful. Does great work. I called ahead of time, day before xmas looking to get 2 maps framed knowing a lot of stores were closed. Hers was open and she saw me right away. Patty has a knack for knowing exactly what you need, even if you can't describe it very well. Plus her original art pieces... amazing. She turned a wall mounted photo into a snow globe. You have to see it to believe it!

Simply the BEST. Patty is old school customer service. Creative. Helpful. Prices are more than fair. Honestly, I would have paid more.
