Great place for a hot beverage and tasty treat. They were very accommodating when we asked for a drink modification. The staff was very friendly. The gluten free brownie was amazing! It was also a cozy place to sit and relax. Plenty of seating unlike your chain establishments. I definitely recommend Borealis!

The building this is located in is beautiful, and the space feels comfy. Nice selection of teas, coffee, and pastries. If you get lucky, you can find a gateau in the case!

The vibe in here is relaxed and feels like a safe space for my 30 something discomfort from the “youth.” The location is industrial with a modern polish. Coffees (cortado and a latte) were excellent. Smooth and rich, deep flavor without bitterness. The avocado toast was fantastic with pickled radishes and microgreens. The overall experience would have been capstones by the skilled staff - unfortunately we must have hit an off day. The baristas were fairly short with us, may have been the day. Either way we hope to get back to catch folks on a better day.

This place has become a PROBLEM for me- I’m completely addicted to their coffee and breakfast sandos. So good!

Borealis has it all- incredible food, fast service, great coffee and a beautiful ambiance. Favorite place to have refreshments while catching up on work, meeting a friend or playing a game a chess. I’m so glad Borealis is in Bristol!

Great place to wake up or end the night. Excellent coffee. Fantastic bar. Quality bites to eat. Versatile space able to be rented out for private parties, or just a low-key place to chill.

A great place to get some coffee and study! Ample amount of space and various types of chairs and tables to accommodate! Had the “iced chai latte” and it was solid! Friend got the “flight of three” and loved it!

I just hosted a private event here and was very happy with the experience I had working with the owners. They were very accommodating and helpful in the planning of the event. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate event. I would highly recommend Borealis if you need a nice place to host an event!

Best cappuccino I've had in a long time and the avocado toast was delicious. Free wifi, tables, outlets, good service and clean bathrooms tick all the boxes.

We rented Borealis' space and could not have been happier! They were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Did I mention easy to work with too? They were!
I completely recommend them as a great venue for a gathering. We brought in food from a local to-go caterer. Apps, drinks and dessert were supplied/purchased from Borealis. All the food that came from Borealis was very good, from the cookies to the potstickers, to the hummus platter. I heard great things about the cocktails and wines.

Excellent drinks and even better service. We had a cappuccino, a chai and a spicy chai financier. All were tasty. The prices are reasonable. The ambiance was lovely. Will absolutely return.

Stopped in this morning for a cuppa. We had a banana pecan muffin, and an avocado toast. Food and service were efficient and friendly.

Excellent coffee and tea options; yummy treats; comfortable seating arrangement; nice staff too! There's a private meeting room that you can rent out as well. Oh, and they serve booze. Parking is not always ideal, but it could be worse.

So the first thing we do when we come to an area as we travel (though we decided to put roots down here now and stop this traveling thing) is find the local coffee shop…. Forget those big global firms… local shops… always. Borealis was our first try in the area, and they immediately became our go to. The look and feel of the property starts off so good (I love that converted mill look) and the coffee was amazing. The breakfast sando on the cheddar biscuit… so good! I have a kiddo with a gluten allergy, and the gluten free choices to snack on for breakfast are always a hit.
The staff are amazing as well… always bright and cheery…. And oh so good at what they do

Update: one year later and this is still a great coffee spot. The Harvest latte they are making this autumn season is super good!!

Just have gone for the coffee so far, but that has always been a delight. I'm not a huge coffee fan, it's moreso my partner, but even still I've had nothing but amazing beverages here. The atmosphere is nice and moody as well, so it's a good place to work for a bit with a latte. The staff can be a bit rude when it gets busy, however that's forgivable since they are serving some far ruder customers from what I've seen. Highly recommend this place overall though, especially if you're a coffee lover!

We’ve been looking all over for the best black coffee and here is the current winner. It was a lovely happenstance coming in at night to find a live band playing and delicious drinks to be had. It’s open pretty late which is really refreshing. We will definitely be returning.

Borealis Coffee offers the best beans I've found thus far in the area, and this particular location is extra spacious and has more food options than the one in Riverside. Overall, just thankful for the great coffee!

Great place with coffee, baked goods, a bar and live entertainment. Enjoyed an iced Nutella latte. It was delicious.
