Good place to pew pew. Sales floor is on the larger side, with the entire center shelving devoted to handguns and handgun optics/lights/lasers. Ringing the wall is all their long guns. Sales staff was attentive and answered any questions I had about the firearms. They were busy in there when I went, but didn't have to wait for a lane on their range.

Range was well-lit and ventilated. I tried out a few of their guns and they have a pretty diverse assortment to choose from, with all the major firearm manufacturers represented. Pricing om the range and rentals was reasonable as well.

Second Amendment Sports Gun Range is absolutely top-notch! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made me feel welcome and ensured I had everything I needed for a great shooting experience. The range itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a variety of lanes suitable for both beginners and experienced shooters. Safety is clearly a top priority, which is incredibly reassuring. Their selection of firearms and accessories is extensive, and the staff are always ready to provide expert advice. I took the girls and guns class with Jamie as the instructor. She made it fun while making sure to drive in how serious gun safety is. I left feeling so much more confident in the handling and shooting of a gun. I really recommend the class.

We had a private lesson with Jamie. She was absolutely AMAZING! I had never used or handled a gun before, and she walked us through how to safely, accurately, and confidently use a firearm. It was educational, while still being enjoyable and fun. I feel way more confident after our lesson and we will absolutely be going back to the range. I would 100% recommend a private lesson with Jamie. Thank you!

I shoot at many indoor ranges in northern IL and southern WI and 2A by far is the best! Their staff is helpful , friendly and knowledgeable, the facility is well ventilated, lighting is good and the range equipment is well maintained. Even though there is a range just a few minutes from my home, I drive 30 minutes to 2A because of its excellence. They also have a large selection of new , used and rental guns. They have many classes available and skills and drills one of the best. Give 2A a try!

Have been there for the shooting range. Decided to take the CCW class with Frank as the instructor. Didn't really know what to expect. He was awesome. Made the 2 days fly by and was patient with all of us. Frank made sure we felt confident with our abilities when we left the class and made sure above all else we are safe with how we handle firearms. Frank definitely made learning all the information interesting,. I would recommend his classes to anyone wanting to get their CCW.

To be perfectly honest, I really like this place.

The staff are respectful and friendly as long as you treat them the same courtesy. Whenever I go in, always someone greets me when they become available. Also all the staff are all very knowledgeable.

The guns and ammo are well displayed, and everything is well organized. Overall, I would go out of my way to go again soon.

If you want to see a gun shop that has excellent customer service and staffing you don’t want to miss this place. They are well stocked. They are well staffed with knowledgeable employees. They have quite an inventory for every range of gun owner and shooter. Again, don’t miss this store.

The staff behind the gun counter were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, which made my shopping experience enjoyable. Unlike some other gun stores where customers are chastised for small issues, your team was understanding and accommodating.

Dominic at the range counter provided me with excellent advice and choices, and the RSOs were equally helpful. I must commend the ladies behind the sales counter as well for their friendliness, knowledge, and patience during the checkout process.

While I initially encountered a minor frustration regarding discounts and options after my purchase, I appreciated the opportunity to have a private conversation with Rebecca, the manager, to address my concerns. The team promptly made things right, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction that truly sets your establishment apart.

I had a chance to take the Defensive Knife module one course this weekend and I LOVED it. Mike (the instructor) is one of the most talented instructors I have had in something like 40 years of knife training but what I found most valuable was how he breaks down some rather complicated concepts into easy bite-sized portions and makes them easy to learn.

Some of the folks I got paired with over the duration of the class were obviously very new at this and they were very well attended to and the format allowed them to pick up basics and learn them as their own while following along inside of a proven framework.

I really appreciated the attention given to the students with mobility issues due to age or injury and the freedom to explore their limitations inside the course material, as well as engineering workarounds for their specific needs.

I'm no ninja (I swear Mike must be on his personal time!) but I've been blessed over the years to have had some really great instruction thruout the decades. Without reservation I highly encourage anyone who either wants a very good foundation as a complete novice or who wants to further develop a well-trained toolbox take a hard look at these classes as offered by 2A Sports.

Best customer service around in terms of firearm stores and supplies. Everyone is beyond helpful and considerate of what you need. Staff is knowledgeable and know what they're talking about, including the workers at the checkout! I've been going here for years and will continue for as long as I'm in illinois! Highly recommend!!!

I have great luck with this store! Range, sales and service. Almost always receive great customer service. Remember this is a high volume store that needs to follow a lot of IL. rules. Some that are annoying. You can get almost anything you want here and they are willing to find and order what ever you need. Sometimes yes, it may take a little time though. Not the end of the world. Drop them a email you will get a response.

I’ve been shooting for six years. This is the best gun range I’ve ever been to that’s between Illinois Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey. This is the best gun range hands-down I’ve ever been to. Everybody is very knowledgeable about guns. Every gun I have bought I love and I have 10 guns so I bought about seven or eight from these people and I continue to buy more, it’s my favorite candy store

Just took the Defensive Knife One: Knife vs Knife class with Mike. Plan on taking the rest. Instructor is highly knowledgeable, skilled, and creates a great environment to learn.
If you are a beginner or you are looking to hone your skill in this area of defence...I highly recommend this instructor.

I have taken several classes and they have all been well done. The instructors are personable even when correcting your bad habits. Today's class was run by Nick with Frank assisting and they were both great. Forget watching the clock or trying to stay awake. They kept things moving at a good pace start to finish. (2/3 of today was on the range). I look forward to the follow-up class (hopefully with the same team). After class, they were also helpful out in the store picking out some new accessories.

Let me start out by saying that as soon as you walk into SAS you'll notice how clean and organized the store is. The employees are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I used the range a couple of times which are clean and well maintained so I decided to purchase their membership. It's great to call ahead and reserve a lane. Haven't been disappointed! I like to say to the owners and all the employees keep up the great the work and everyone I speak to I always refer SAS as the place to go to for a great experience.

Outstanding service. I ordered an Avid Glock 2-1 tool through the shop and it came in quickly. Shawn helped me with the check out process and he was simply delightful. Best gunshop around. The instructors are pretty awesome too, the best in the area as a matter of fact.

I went to the range this afternoon with my niece. Had a great time and she can shoot! The staff are always very helpful and nice. I highly recommend Second Amendment!
