Wheel World Bicycles

Purchased the Giant Trance a couple of months ago but waited to post anything to make sure I knew what I was talking about. Bottom line is I really love the bike and the staff at Wheel World have been super nice and helpful. This bike was a huge investment for me and it took me a year to decide which bike I wanted and ended up purchasing this one from Wheel World because it had every option I wanted and the price.

Wow! As a mountain biker I have had a need for a lot of bike parts. I have also tried many bike shops, looking for one that has salesmen and mechanics who are happy to help out. In a lot of LA bike shops, the personnel have mad me feel like I am doing them a disservice by asking for help, or by purchasing an item. This is the only shop that I have found and been extremely satisfied with. I drive past several shops to get to this one because it is so much better than the others.

I purchased a Specialized Enduro from them two years ago and have broken it many times, from the rough riding that I do. Wheel world has either repaired or replaced things (in warranty and out) for me such as:
Fork damper rebuilt
Rear axle/free hub replaced
Drivetrain repaired
Dropper seatpost (which I didn’t even buy from them and was out of warranty) replaced.
Broken rear chainstay replaced.

These are just the things which were warranties or free out of helpfulness. I also have brought the bike in for many other repairs which I paid for as well!

I am currently buying an ebike from them, and they have been wonderful to work with, as I get a 2019 model where there are limited amounts of in the country, and getting it quickly and effectively.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs help with bikes or wants to buy one or an ebike.

The guy who I have the most experience with is Caelin, but I have had all of the other guys help me, and everyone is amazing.

I was in town from Canada for a training camp and needed assistance installing a new tubeless road tire on my rim after slicing a tire on a ride previous day. I took it in the next morning before a ride (5 minutes before they officially opened I might add) the entire staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Without hesitation the mechanic took a look at my wheel/tire, got it installed, added sealant no problem And did not even charge me. I’ll also add the Store was very well stocked with a good range of bikes and parts! I would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future. Support your LBS!

I had not purchased a new mountain bike in 22 years, and hadn't been on one at all in almost 10. I visited Wheel World because I was interested in a Giant mountain bike and this was the closest dealership to me. What good fortune! Cailen greeted me as I walked in the door. I told him about my long absence from mountain biking, and asked him if the bike I was considering was a good choice. He guided me through the differences and features of bikes in my price range (and out) and eventually pointed me in the direction of a closeout 2017 model that had $300 more features than the bike I was considering for only $100 more. The bike is a great fit for me and I am very happy with it. Not only that, the team at Wheel World is excellent with service after the sale. I had a flat after my second ride, and went in thinking I'd have to leave the wheel there. Even though they were slammed, they had the tire changed and back in my hands in 5 minutes! This is an exemplary bike shop. As long as I live in this area I won't shop anywhere else.

I brought my Diamondback EXC (2015 electric) to the shop in pieces. I had lent it to a friend, and he crashed hard. John and company at Wheel World took great care of the bike and me. They were fast, meticulous, and always friendly. Then the new derailleur failed. The metal just snapped apart. So back to Wheel World where they understood that it was nothing that I did to provoke the break. They had the bike back to me with three days on warranty. It's a busy shop because they are GOOD! It's my store forever. (Also, I bought a second electric from them; the price was heavy discounted. I get lifetime tuneups. Who could ask for more?)

My local bike shop and I don't know what I'd do without them. Great, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Items either stocked or just a couple day wait to get stuff in. I've stopped in mid-ride and they jumped on helping me without making me wait and missing the rest of my ride. Can't say enough good things about this shop and crew - pointed, helpful advice on bikes, parts, riding tips, etc. Thanks for being a great part of my riding.

I stopped by Wheel World to look at other Bikes. While they were able to order the bike I had in mind ,when I had mentioned that I would be moving to another state shortly I was advised buy from a local store from my new community and develop a relationship with the biking community there. Something I had planned on doing anyway. Since they would have had to order it for me I am taking their advice. I could not believe the consideration they expressed for that situation. It really demonstrates a love for the biker community as a whole and not merely their little pocket in Woodland Hills. I also brought a little something along that needed a nut inserted. When I asked what I owed I was told.. "A handshake".
That really did me in. I am almost sorry I am not moving. I would have purchased from them and then stopped by to visit just for the pleasure of it. Thank you so very much Wheel World. You can be certain I will be telling all of my California friends to stop by.

A must-stop shop for anyone looking at bikes. I did a lot of pre-shopping to learn about different features I would like in a bike. Bicycle technology has really changed over the years and bike science is evolving very quickly. Cailin had seen me in the shop many times and after I put together my bike criteria, he found the perfect bike for me around my price range. It was a hard to find product in my size, so there was a little wait on delivery, but the people in the store kept me apprised on the progress of the order and went the extra mile. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Although I did not buy an e-bike, of all the stores I shopped at, Wheel World had the largest selection of e-bikes in stock. Even if you do not intend to purchase a bike, stop in and check out what has changed in the bicycle market. It has really gone high tech. It's a lot of fun just to look.

Joshua went the distance, answering all my questions and staying late to see that my new road bike was set up properly before I left. He proved to be very knowledgeable and personable. The whole staff was extremely helpful and friendly, providing me with a mini-education on everything - bikes, pedals, wheels, etc. I got a great deal and had a great experience.

They did a great job fixing up my titanium dirt bike and saved me some money by fixing the classic parts so I wouldn't have to change them out. Good service, selection and nice staff.

C'mon...local bike shop, great service & support, cool-proactive-knowledgeable-crew (John E is definitely a wealth of assistance and way good vibes, on point techs), good stock of product, patient, and willing to help you in every way possible...can't go wrong! So grateful for WWWH! Be patient, they can get slammed, esp. on weekends. But they're worth it. Keep up the great work, gang. It's very much appreciated.

The service here is outstanding. Came in expecting to drop my bikes off for days, but crew was energetic and eager to get us back on the road! Realized our bikes just needed a quick tune up when they could have charged us $$$. Walked out with no charge and a handshake.

A GREAT place to get electric power mountain bikes, road bikes, kid bikes, and a lot in between. Younger staff, but very knowledgeable about the product they sell. Always ready to research any questions they don't have an answer for, and are true devotes of the world of bicycling. They carry Specialized, Giant, mostly. Great deals on tires, and everything you need to keep you machine in tip top shape. Oh, lifetime adjustments on the bikes you buy. They even match Amazon prices!

I travelled with my bike. Just got in town, and chain broken when taken out of bike box. On recommendation of my host I'm staying with, I brought it in to Wheel World. As well, it had shifting issues where getting into big chainring a problem. They had identified the problems and what needed to be done. My drivetrain needed replacing, among other things. I had known this before travel, but because of time constraints, didn't get it dealt with. The owner and another mechanic spent a huge amount of their time trying to make my bike work the best it can, as I had a group ride within the hour. I wished I had more time in the area to have them service and replace all parts needed on my bike. These guys know their stuff, and take the time to properly identify the problem. That is something rare I have found. Thank you to John and crew!

Everyone that works here that I've spoken to are always super helpful and nice. If you have any questions about bikes they are always happy to answer and they even have some pumps in there that you can stop by and use. You can also pricematch to Amazon.

This is my favorite local bikeshop. The services are excellent. Everyone is so nice. Prices are always fair and competitive. We bring all our bikes here for the tune up. I bought my Specialized bike here

I don't understand the negative reviews about WWB's customer service. I went in last night to learn about e-bikes; they were super friendly and helpful to someone that knew nothing about this new technology. I'll be buying a bike from them soon... 5 Stars!

I've sparsely visit this bike shop for the last 10 years, and every time I have gone, the guys behind the counter were always helpful. I've lost small hard to find screws and other hardware on my bike and sometimes they just gave it to me for free so I always appreciate and like to recommend this place to everyone.

I setup my old GT LTS-1 bike for my Son.
Has a 2003 Marzocchi Bomber SL front air fork that I needed to dial in for his weight. I lost the pump and air fitting required for this fork. I stopped by to see if they could help me out. They let me use their pump to adjust the rear air shock I fitted to the bike. When asked about the front fork, they took one look at it and said...wow!....have not seen one of those in a while. The tech said he would see if they still had the fitting. A few minutes of digging and he found one. Got the positive and negative sides setup for my Sons weight and all set to go. Didn't even charge me. I have purchased other items from the shop and will continue to support them.
