Excellent Customer Service very Welcoming,Polite, Knowledgeable. The cashier was a young man named Matt at store #13 he was so Customer Friendly. My husband and I drove there to purchase some specific shoes that our local Big 5 did not have his size. So we drove the miles to the Canoga Park on Topanga Canyon Blvd we were so Pleased with Matt that anytime we need shoes we will drive miles for the Excellent Customer Service! Matt deserves a Promotion & Bonus he is the reason people continue to shop at this location! Thank You also to Management for the Excellent training & recognizing your Star Staff! the younger lady barbara at the register was very helpful. She was able to give me the discounts on my items that I was not aware of so she definitely saved me money there. The lighting in the back parking lot could be better, I came in during the evening time and since its behind a alley in a not so good neighborhood a well lit parking lot would be better. Not just for us customers but for your employees that have to walk out at night to there car.

due to the fact they they have great customer service I forgot my wallet and a manager was kind enough to call me from his personal cell phone luckily I was still outside from the store so I went back and I got my wallet back

All the significant game brands in a single store, it's so advantageous. They sell extraordinary tennis and golf gear. I purchased Babolat racket with a decent rebate and I'm content with the quality.

The place was a little busy when I was there. However the staff was both friendly and very helpful to me. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for. There was only one cashier at the time but he was both fast and efficient, so the wait was short.

Usually the staff this place hires consists of quite a few 'confused looking' teenagers who don't seem too concerned at whether or not they smile or say hello.

Until recently when I went in to grab my favorite yoga pants from there (yes, they yoga pants at BIG 5 and they're truly spectacular... Pockets that don't show but hold and oh so comfortable!) Anyways, I couldn't find my size and for the first time, someone other than Management greeted me so warmly, was authentically eager to help me out and made sure that I didn't leave that store unless I had everything I needed.

His name was Dylan but I think he spelled it different...? Either way, he was professional, charming without being a douche and just the right amount of eager without being pushy. Very nice guy, great experience, will definitely shop there again but will be sure to ask for him specifically!

5 stars for customer service. Roger asked me if I needed help shortly after I entered the store. He assisted me with picking out the right gloves for kick boxing and checked me out instead of making me wait while the only other cashier was assisting another customer. Free parking is located in back or on the street.

The manager of this location Bob is amazingly helpful. All the staff is great. They always have the items I need in stock.

They were very helpful. I was looking for an item on sale art a different big 5 and they looked in the back and looked in the computer and when they didn't have it they gave me a list of stores that did. This was the store that did have it and they were very nice and told me the original store was supposed to call and put it in hold. Very nice

Great customer service. Amazing products.. well organize.. very friendly atmosphere.. the staff pays attention to your needs and they are so willing to help each customers with respect and patience.

I have to say for a sporting good store their stores tend to be rather small. Of course you can purchase things online. What gives Big 5 Sporting Goods a five star rating is the willingness of the employees in my experience in the Canoga Park and Simi Valley stores to go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for.

Probably the only real sports store left in the area since sports authority/ sports chalet shut down. They have a little bit of everything and it's well priced. Always an option when in need of anything sports, fitness active related.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff! that's all you will ever come across when you visit this store!
