We absolutely loved this place! It doesn't look like much from the outside but it did not disappoint! The food was fresh and very flavourful. There is a big menu to choose from with lots of fun items. It's definitely a causal spot Ave has a big dining room that can accommodate many large parties. My only complaint was that they were out of fried ice cream. How do you run out of that?!

Cactus Cantina in Orange Beach is a great spot for a laid back delicious meal with top notch drinks. I highly recommend the lobster tacos, grits, twisted margaritas, and street corn tacos with beef!! The service is always on point (ask for Joey) as well as the food quality. They have two locations, so if you are in the area definitely stop by!

Cactus Cantina was such a pleasurable experience for my family. Despite being busy, we didn't wait longer than five minutes. The location is convenient.
Everyone was very friendly. Our server, Allie was the absolute best! She has such an upbeat and positive attitude. She offered wonderful recommendations and was attentive to everyone's needs. She's a superstar for sure!!

Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill delivered an unforgettable dining experience! My California burrito packed a punch with hot red sauce and creamy queso cheese, and the option to include sides like Mexican rice inside was a game-changer. The burrito, loaded with layers of spicy red sauce, gooey cheese, and fresh avocados, was a flavor explosion. Meanwhile, my wife savored the Texan burrito, brimming with shrimp, chicken, and steak, complemented by mild sauce and sides of black beans and grits.

We kicked off our meal with nachos served with both traditional salsa and fiery habanero salsa, which were both amazing. To balance the heat, we indulged in club soda, water, and a refreshing bushwhacker, adding a delightful twist to our dining experience.

With every dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavor, Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill earns a solid 9 out of 10 in my book. It's a place I'll eagerly return to for more culinary adventures!

Food was really great tasting and the service was excellent. We didn't have hardly any wait time before our food arrived. Would highly recommend.

Had the bang bang shrimp tacos that were pretty good. The rice and black beans were too. Our waiter was on top of the game and we received everything we asked for in a timely manner. Plus, he just welcomed his new son Marcelo to the world. Congratulations! This place has several locations so stop on by to scratch the itch for Mexican food. You won't be disappointed.

Went here with the family and it was by far the best Mexican restaurant we have been to in a long time. Burritos were fantastic, tacos were beyond compare, and quesadillas amazing. Our waitress, Steph, was super kind and extremely good at her job. Highly recommend this place if looking for some good food.

Really great Mexican! The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and the salsa was one of the best we have had recently. Prices were typical of any Mexican restaurant, and I expected them to be higher given the location on the beach. All of our food was delicious (try the cactus grits for your side dish)! Our service was personable and fast. Highly recommend!

The wait time was 35 minutes. No surprise, it was a busy spot. Also no surprise there because the food was amazing and our server Stephanie was the sweetest person. Our kids have been learning Spanish for 3 years and she spoke with them patiently while they ordered. As busy as it was, the food still came soon enough and boy it was so good 👍🏾. One of the kids at the table orders the shrimp salad and found it too spicy and Stephanie was sweet enough to get her a side of fried shrimp. The only negative was the temperature in the restaurant. Our table of 7 were freezing and I overheard other patrons asking for the temperature to be raised. Best advice, dress warm or take a jacket.

I was in town for a SHRM conference with family and I had to find something to eat in the land of seafood. I generally eat at home due to the fact that I don't eat pork products or shellfish... So traveling is a BIGGER headache when looking for good food. I ordered from Castus Cantina on Perdido Beach Blvd. twice. I ordered the Chicken fajitas both days and the second day I order a beef and beans nacho. The food did not disappoint. The portion sizes were good as well. I had to choose the restaurant with the least dietary infractions... It was very good.

This place was definitely busy and it had a line but you can see why. The food is always amazing, and they get it to your table so fast. No matter which location i go to it usually only takes like 5 - 7 minutes after we order to get our food. They are so consistent with the quality and speed. Amazing. Will go again.

Fast , friendly, tasty. Lunch was great. Chips were good and salsa had a kick. Prices for lunch especially were fabulous 👌 great location.

Stopped in for a light lunch and ended up getting STUFFED!

Our server, Olga was great; friendly, attentive, without crowding us.

Food was really well prepared and the portions were very generous. I had the three cheese dip with chicken, steak, and shrimp and it was delicious. Rose had nachos of which I ate at least a third of those. Some of the best we've ever had.

Definitely worth visiting!! The Cactus Grits were exceptional!! We've dined here 3 times in the past year and they did NOT disappoint!! Service was great and the food was even better!! Would recommend you trying this location!!

First time here. Pretty busy when we walked in. Got seated quickly. Ordered drinks. Ate chips and salsa. Margaritas were good. So far all flavors were excellent. Regular, cucumber & jalapeño and the knockout. Food showed quickly. The grits are fundamental. The refried beans, best I've ever had. Everything brought to the table was excellent. Had the Texas fajitas, sizzling and stayed hot the whole meal.

On my visit, they were very short, I guess due to the worker shortage. They had 2 waitresses for a semi-packed house and they did a good job. I was a little disappointed that all the hostess did was seat use and give us menus. With them short, she could have gave us silverware, drinks and chips while we waited. We had Kathy for our waitress and her service and the food served was very good. We will be back and if we have to wait (not to long) we will.

Really great quesadillas. Got a cheese quesadilla for the kids and a chicken and cheese quesadilla. They loved them. I got the arroz con pollo. It was good. I ordered take out but had to wait for a few minutes in the restaurant. It’s pretty bright at night and very open. Lots of families were there. She’d like a great place for families and big groups. The guacamole was really good as were the chips and salsa.

I don't normally write reviews, but the chips and salsa were amazing. We had the grilled steak and grilled chicken quesadillas and both were amazing. The steak was very tender and well-seasoned and would have been an excellent steak by itself. I love Mexican restaurants and this is the best I've had in a long time.
