Moe's Original BBQ - Orange Beach

My family and I loved Moe's! I love the laid-back atmosphere. There's seating available inside and outside. There's lots of cool art and pictures on the wall that I enjoyed looking at. The staff was friendly and helpful when ordering.
I had the loaded baked potato with smoked chicken, and it was delicious and very filling.
I tried the Ribs my husband ordered (I forgot to get a pic), but they were tender and flavorful.
The children enjoyed chicken tenders, grilled cheese, fried Catfish, mac & cheese and homemade chips! Despite being very picky they loved everything!
They offer different specials each day.
They have a nice stage out back with live music some nights. The location is convenient. Moe's was a hit with us, and I look forward to visiting again soon.

Awesome place with delicious food and great atmosphere. Employees love working here, they are all happy and have great suggestions with the menu. Yummy bbq with original sauce served warm. Outside area with beach like setup, with live music, kids spot and plenty of seating. This location is a must to visit on Orange Beach.

We see so many bbq restaurants and the food is always just eh. The meat is never warm or juicy and somehow that's supposed to be acceptable, I just never understood that thought.

Then, I found Moe's. This place means business! And, amazingly, I got warm and juicy meat!! The pork was so tasty. I don't think I have ever had anything near its level of quality to compare.

I'm a potato salad "snob" and theirs did not disappoint because you could taste the freshness and skill put into the salad.

The vinegar based Cole slaw had a lot of crisp with a slight touch of sweet. The Mac and cheese was old skool good and definitely should not be overlooked as a side possibility.

The corn bread was a nice addition, too. I have never had it served fried as this was and man! It was surprisingly good.

The restaurant itself was nice. It's a quick little place with clean tables and a couple tvs inside next to where you would order for dine in or to go. They had some cute artifacts on the wall. One, in particular, brought back so many memories as I recalled my own cassette tape collection.

The best part of all was the service. The gals behind the counter are the real deal. They know their product and they know how to take care of customers.

Seriously. What more could you ask for?

The cornbread won me over! i had ribs baked beans and mac and cheese. My first time getting BBQ on this side of Alabama and it wasnt bad. They get extra points for being open on Christmas Eve abs extra friendly service! @8robinsonstv enjoyed the time spent here

Had the smoked turkey sandwich with Mac n cheese and potato salad. Food was very good! Will be back in!

My family and I live in Atlanta, GA and we had lunch here during our Spring Break visit.
I was in the mood for some wings and ordered the smoked wings with two sides (grits and blueberry cobbler).
Holy smokes was the food delicious! The best wings I've ever had. The wings alone were amazing, but then paired with the white sauce and it blew my mind. The grits are only served on Fridays and they were awesome.

Fantastic BBQ! Lots of options for meat and any way you want it. Large selection of sides and the best Mac and cheese and baked beans I’ve ever had. They also had purple hull peas and collard greens as the special sides on the day I ate there and let me tell ya, who ever cooked it KNOWS how to cook and season food. Was so delicious. Best bushwhackers on the beach! Very reasonable prices too. Two folks in my party got the salad. It was huge! Loaded down with toppings and you choose your meat and it came with a hunk of delicious cornbread too.

First time here. Very good BBQ. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my wife had the Sunday special fried chicken. It came with grilled cornbread. The honey drizzled fried chicken might be the best fried chicken I've ever had!

Excellent pulled pork and Awesome Wings. Many sides and all are delicious (they charge daily). Fair prices too! We're local and always our go to for great BBQ.

Counter service. We ordered the smoked wings, dry, no sauce. They were quite good and their homemade ranch is delicious! Also had side salads which were delicious. They use fresh ingredients and greens (not iceberg!). We sat outside on a picnic table on the deck. We could see the live music/outside area from the deck which I bet is super cool during live music and events! My only slightly negative thought was it was a bit expensive but then again maybe not? We ordered 12 wings, 6 wings, 2 salads and 1 iced tea for $44. Alot has to go into smoked wings so I get it.

Husband wanted to stop while we were vacationing in the south....the food was delicious and so reasonably priced. Loved the atmosphere...and the staff were great! Will definitely return on our next southern trip.

The service. We walked in the door with them explaining the whole process. The food was absolutely amazing. Pulled pork was so good, potato salad good and chunky.
Kids got chicken tenders and OMG yo uwill never find chicken That good anywhere else. 10/10 will return

We were there on a Friday night… They were out of pulled pork and other things. Thankfully, that made me pick the blackened fish. It was definitely a great choice! I had the macaroni & cheese and the chocolate pudding for my sides. That pudding was delicious! I even got an extra cup and two more for others at the table. I really like that they made it as a side. I probably wouldn’t have tried it alone as just a dessert. Over all a nice little place. We would come here again!

If you love BBQ, you gotta love Moes! The ladies working there were terrific, and the food was wonderful. The sweet tea was spot on and the help with my wife's gluten intolerance was quite helpful. The music and entire atmosphere were fantastic.

Nice place to stop for lunch, after a long morning of fishing! We have a Moe’s in NC where I live, but this one by far has the coolest atmosphere. I loved the outdoor seating area with the sand! Very cool!

It's great barbecue at Moe's! I've had most of the traditional BBQ during other visits and tried the fried catfish po-boy this time and it was fantastic!

First-timers here from Philly! My husband pushed to go to Moe's Original and I'm glad he did. We were very impressed. The staff was friendly and informative. The restaurant was welcoming and clean. The outside seating and entertainment area were perfect! Good for kids and adults of all ages. After skimming the menu we decided to order a sampling of the most popular meats and sides, so we ordered the Sampler Platter for $35 which feeds 2-3 people..... delicious! Each type of meat was done right; tasty, moist, smoked nice! The sides we choose were marinated slaw, baked beans, and collard greens. Each side was delicious, especially the marinated slaw! The baked cornbread was one of the best I've ever had. We added the infamous Bushwacker!! What a treat. Can't wait to travel to Alabama again for this great meal and a great time!

Great barbecue spot! We got several items. The pork nachos, turkey, pulled pork sandwiches (Bama style), baked beans and corn bread were all excellent! Kids loved pudding as option for one of their sides.
