We visited this restaurant on an afternoon. This was a spacious room that feltlike a second home to us. We were immediately greeted and told the Peruvian food choices that were unique and had creative tastes—our dishes were phenomenal. She had the Roasted Turkey Bowl served over organic quinoa. House-roasted Turkey Breast citrus radishes with the avocado & sriracha were great. I had the roasted chicken with heirloom tomatoes—baby arugula, and crispy shoestring potatoes dressed with herb aioli, which was delicious. Amicable staff and customer service were professional. I recommend eating at this restaurant in the Thousand Oak area. Thank you, Mouthful Eatery Team!

I love Mouthful every time I go here. I think it only gets better. the staff is always super friendly and the food is superb. If possible, get a daily special, it will be some of the freshest restaurant food you've tasted in a while. and at a decent price too! This is the perfect lunch spot.

Easy parking in the rear or on the street.

Customer service was amazing from start to finish. Love the fact that they pick up your dishes and come around to check up on you.

Got the fish, rice, bowl, and hail to the Kale plus a pineapple lemonade. Dessert was amazing flan!! Let’s not forget their lomo saltado!!!

Love the menu and how you can make it into a sandwich, entree or bowl. Love the casual atmosphere, easygoing vibe, the plentiful seating options and the fact that it always appears clean and spotless!

Love this place! Peruvian sandwiches and plates that are so delicious. I think it’s a scratch kitchen and I am sure the food is the bomb. One of my local favs. Friendly staff and always clean. Go for the Lomo plate, it never disappoints, but everything is good. They live entertainment on Thursday at 6:00pm.

YES!! This is delicious! The atmosphere is chill and welcoming. Peruvian influenced menu has several options for all of us picky eaters out there. Stopped because I liked the name and stayed for the food. You won't regret making a stop.
I had the cucumber mint lemonade and a chicken bowl with quinoa. And added avocado. Yummah!

Stopped here while visiting from Florida. Such a cool vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Amazing peach pudding with vanilla ice cream and friend artichokes! The ranch they paired with it was amazing! Some amazing menu items to try.

Plain and simple, I adore this place!! I have been many times when my boyfriend lived in Thousand Oaks but haven't been in a few years since he moved. When my daughter started working close by, I suggested Mouthful for a lunch date. Daughter was resistant but I bribed her with letting her pick the next place just to get her in the door. When she ate her entire huge salad plus both of the sides, kept making yummy noises, and finally, much to her chagrin, told me how delicious everything was, I knew I had a convert!! Willing to bet, Daughter picks Mouthful as her lunch pick 💖

Was in town for a wedding and this was our go to spot. The sandwiches are full of flavor and hefty. The plates are all excellent. My girl got the Pork Belly Rice Bowl and it was delicious. The Crispy Pork and Turkey Meat Ball sandwich are also really really good. I wouldn't recommend the lomo saltado in sandwich form, it was just too messy For sides u cant go wrong with the Zucchini sticks, sweet potato fries, or the crispy artichokes. Lemonade is light and refreshing. Finally the sauces are very good! The spicy habanero was amazing but not for the faint of heart.

I love the idea of eating new dishes and they wowed me.

What a fantastic great little spot. The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the staff was so friendly. Maurino Jimenez the
general manager was so helpful and informative. Honestly with the way he took ownership of our questions and concerns we thought he WAS the owner. I can’t wait to come back. Always bring out of town guests it’s it’s a great flex to show you know the good spots. Great beer and wine selections. Support local businesses keep Chili’s out of my backyard.

Cute and quirky little place (they have flying pigs in the window!) It's a You-Order-Then-Find-a-Table kind of place.

They have several fillings (pork, turkey, chicken, fish, steak, ham, veggie) you put in either a cibatta sammie or bowl (with organic quinoa or white rice). You can add avo or guac or fried egg or cheese for a lil extra.

I got the Crispy Pork over steamed rice with a side of Mac & Cheese (see pic). The food came quickly and hot. Being a mayo/saucey kind of gal, I loved it. Mine came with homemade guac, onions and a couple of sauces drizzled over it. I liked the M&C but I'm thinking some purists won't be crazy for it. It had kind of a different flavor. I topped myself off with the shortbread caramel sandwich cookies. The caramel had almost a peanut butter consistency...Yum!

I'll be back to try out some of the other fillings and sides. They all sound so interesting!

The steak and the crispy pork are very delicious! This is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants.

The food is very good with good selections on menu. The staff are helpful, efficient, and pleasant. I would highly recommend.

Peruvian Steak Sandwich. That's what you go here for. I've tried several of their sandwiches, salads, and bowls, but the Steak Sandwich is the clear winner by a long shot. The marinade they use for the steak is incredible, leaving it juicy and bursting with flavor. Combined with the delicious aioli, Yuca Fries, sauteed onions and tomatoes, and Ciabatta bread, this sandwich is left perfect in every way, shape, and form.
A side of Crispy Yuca Fries are also a must have. Along with the Alfajores....Oh my.... I can't even begin to explain how heavenly these little homemade, caramel filled, shortbread cookies are. Dusted with a little powdered sugar, they simply melt in your mouth. They're honestly one of the best things to have ever graced my taste buds and definitely one of my top ten favorite desserts of Ventura County. Seriously don't miss out on this place!

Great unique place that has a great pineapple drink and a good variety of sandwiches. Can't say I'm a fan of the sandwiches with steak fries though. My top choices are the pork or turkey sandwich and the zucchini sticks.

I enjoyed the fusion sort of menu. I like that this place gives you the choice of a bowl or sandwich. So many choices and everything tasted good. Will go back.

Consistent quality . Every unique flavorful bite makes you crave more without that overly full post lunch feeling. Can't say enough about the outstanding friendly staff!
