Chicken Express

I have been to this location several times. The people are so friendly seem happy to be there and excited to serve you. The only problem is they usually forget something so I would say check your bag before you leave. Customer service is important to me so I'll keep going back and just make sure I check everything before I leave!

First time eating here since I moved back to Texas and food was great. Spicy tenders need a little more spice. Fried okra was very good. Sweet tea is perfect as always.

Great place and very clean, the employees are extremely friendly and always makes sure that my order is correct!! I’ve been too other chicken express’s and it’s been horrible l! Decided this is the only one I will ever go too

I would leave a 10 if I could. Not only was our meal outstanding and the normal restaurant service great. But what real earns them this rating is what they did to ensure my piece of mind. While traveling I accidentally left my purse behind. When my purse was found they immediately secured it. We drove back the next morning to retrieve it and all contents were intact. For seniors on a limited income that was such a relief I can't thank the Manager and her staff enough. 🙌

I bought 20 chicken strips half spicy meal,
And four peaces of fish.
Let me tell the the drive through cashier was friendly my food was hot and fresh. Thanks chicken express for my order my order it shows you care about what you sell a customer .

Amazingly good chicken!!! Love their gizzards too. My only complaint is their issue with giving me rolls when I specifically said I want biscuits. Next time ill check before I get all the way home. I don't go here for their biscuits though..its that chicken and yeah...its great.

For a local redhead ginger lake celebrity they have the best hot wings in town.

What's not to like. I usually get the livers and my family gets the tenders. Orders are always right, tea is good and the staff are very friendly. If you like chicken express, don't be afraid of the location in gunbarrel, it's just as good as the other ones.

I had forgotten that Chicken Express also has excellent bone in chicken. As usual, their sides are good and their sweet tea is as good as it gets.

Giving the people what they want! This brand new store offers white meat, dark meat, livers, and fried fish. Sides include mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn, batter-dipped corn nuggets, and cole slaw--just to name a few. Their birds are marinated and deep-fried to perfection. Hot and fresh chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon-dusted apple pies are also served up to satisfy your sweet tooth. Southern-style sweet tea and fountain sodas are refreshing when ordered on a summer day at the Lake. Hot chocolate is served up seasonally during the holidays. Every employee from management to cook to cashier prioritizes customer service and satisfaction. Eat here.

But vegetarians beware. Fried foods are cooked in a frying shortening that contains beef tallow. However, the biscuits, rolls, corn on the cob, mac, green beans, gravy, mash, and cookies are all completely vegetarian friendly, as are all the fountain drinks and fresh-brewed tea.

Just stopped by for a glass of their fantastic sweet tea . It really hits the spot when I'm out ridin da bike .

We absolutely love their fried catfish and their chicken livers are delicious!!! Their unsweet tea is always fresh. We highly recommend this Chicken Express. PS. Their chicken is great too, but it's hard to find fried catfish and livers this good! That's why we always get the catfish and livers.

Was fairly nice wasnt very busy food came out quick and hot. Customer service was friendly ill definitely come back again.
If your not use to very sweet tea i recommend mixing half sweet and half unsweet but other then the sweetness its very good.

The location is right across the main street from Walmart cant miss it.

Visited for lunch yesterday with a co-worker. We ordered gizzards. Took a minute, (gizzards are not an average request, of course) but well worth it. Excellent service.

Best chicken spot in Mabank area and manager was so nice to us. We will be back again

The Manager (Charles) is a sweet heart. Speedy service with a smile, can’t beat that. I make the 20 minute drive because I know it’ll be worth it. #WinnerWinnerChickenDinner
