Vernons Lakeside

Food was delicious! We had a party of 12 and over all everyone was very pleased. Some tried something new and wasn’t a fan and I also tried something new and absolutely loved it!! Mango salsa was soooo good! The views were so beautiful and if it wasn’t so hot we probably would’ve ate outside to enjoy it more. Wonderful little kids section our 2 year old twin girls were able to play. Would definitely return if Wisconsin wasnt so far away ☺

I ate at V's steakhouse and I must say it's an experience to remember food was great, so was the service and everything else.

First visit to Vernons today and everything went well. Great location. Excellent outdoor seating by the lake. Staff was friendly and attentive. Good drinks and food. We will surely be back again for more…

Very fun bar/restaurant 😄 the food isn't great but the atmosphere and the people are what make it fun! There's live music a place for the kids to play. Games for adults, a little ice-cream stand in the front and it's right on a beautiful lake. There really isn't much more you can ask for!

I've always enjoyed being here. The wait staff is great. Everything I've tried on the menu is really good. They have their own potato chips that are awesome as well. Great atmosphere!

The very best restaurant on cedar creek lake! Massive servings and very great presentation. The taste of the food is fresh and delicious.

The best restaurant lakeside at Cedar Creek. Well, there are only 2 anyway. There is a bar for alcoholic beverages all day and a lively bar scene at night. Small but decent menu with something for everyone. Food has always been good on our visits and we go about 2 or 3 times a month. The lake view is great and there is a large outdoor seating area and an outdoor bar as well.

Love this place. Great food amazing staff and atmosphere. Great view of the lake . They have the best pecan pie.

Hidden gem. Drink and food are delicious and reasonably priced. Lakeside dining makes for great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly

They will help tie you up to the dock. Great place to sit outside and have a beer. Their fried catfish is great. The bartenders are very friendly (Summer you are awesome). It is mine and my husband's go to place when out on the lake.
We recently went for our 17th Anniversary. I can't say enough about this place. Great people and wonderful food.

Anytime i find water I have to go... sat at the bar as the outside bar was full... inside and out had a great atmosphere very friendly staff... good selection of local craft beers and liquors.. saw the Hickenlooper fried steak was "best around" ... can't compare to any local but I can tell you it was one of the best I've ever had.. buy had the green chilie and goat cheese buger and said it was very good !

Amazing visit, great views, friendly staff and the food was legit the best I've had in a while. The Chicken Fried Steak is fork tender and literally the best I've ever eaten in my 46 years of life. That says a lot from a country man!

Happen to be there when a band called General's Army was playing and totally enjoyed the music.. Sat out on deck and enjoyed great food and everyone on the staff was attentive and friendly..!! No wait time.. And this was a night that a high school reunion was going on.. Had no complaints whatsoever.. Keep up the good work guys.. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend..

We ate here for dinner this evening. We ordered chicken fried steak, grilled chicken platter and green chile chicken quesadillas. Service was excellent. The food presentation was high quality and our food arrived quickly. Nice atmosphere and we enjo
yed the ice cream for dessert.

Excellent lakeside location, delicious food and speedy service - only at Vernon's! We were so lucky to have AJ as our server, she was so kind and courteous. Her food recommendations were fantastic - we had the shrimp skewers, chicken pot pie and the pecan pie with Texas praline icecream. Vernon's is a complete party place with outdoor seating, entertainment stage, kids play place and an outdoor bar too! There is a separate menu for kids and AJ gave our kids crayons and coloring pages too. We highly recommend this place to all locals and visitors!

Service was amazing. The food was great. Portions were proportionate to pricing. I got the shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp were huge. Highly recommend.

Definitely one of my favorite places in the area to get a good, relaxing meal. Servers are fantastic. The hatch chili GOAT burger might well be one of the best burgers ever devised. I like that the deck patio is dog-friendly too.

What a great place to stop while boating. The staff even helps getting the boat docked. Food, drinks, and staff all fantastic!
