We are so grateful to have been invited to enjoy a night out there ❤ It was definitely a good time at the Murder Mystery party that Julia planned! The party ran smoothly & there were plenty of laughs all night long! We hope to be invited back again for another party in the near future!! Thank you to all the staff at the Charleston Event Center for throwing such a fun night!!

As a wedding photographer, It has been my pleasure to work with Shannon and her team at Charleston Event Center in White Bear Lake. They made everything easy for me and Shannon gave me a great tour which allowed me to check for the best lighting and locations for photos ahead of time so we had the best angles during the wedding day. One great thing about Charleston Event Center is you can have your ceremony and reception all in one spot, which makes it stress free for brides and grooms and fantastic for the guests at your event as well. The best thing you can do is just include the Charleston on your list if you are looking for a wedding or event venue and take the tour!

Charleston Event Center is such a hidden gem for events. Gorgeous building, great outdoor patio space for ceremonies and mingling events. We enjoyed a networking event with TCWEP and very happy with all the help from Julia Holm - Great Day Events in providing an awesome event. Thank you!

The Charleston Event Center experience was a 10/10! Totally recommend this venue for weddings. I was so pleased with the service I received from this business. They went above and beyond to help us find the perfect look for our wedding. Our event coordinator, Julia, was so kind. Julia goes above and beyond making sure we and all of our guests were taken care of for the entire journey. She was very helpful and answered all our questions. The venue space was clean and bright. The lights inside AND outside lit the day and night just perfectly. All our services were always on time. From the catering, photographer, DJ, the list goes on, never missed a beat. The luxurious classy mansion home venue coupled with exceptional service, made our day truly memorable.

Came here for a special Halloween party. What a spectacular evening! The venue was beautifully decorated, our gracious host (Julia) was wonderful, the food was excellent and the party was well planned / executed!

If I could give more stars, I would! This venue and Julia, Sarah, Savannah, and the whole team went above and beyond for our NYE wedding. They were great to communicate with, quick to make any changes we asked for, and the venue itself was so gorgeous we didn't need extra decor! As part of our package, they provided two planning sessions that were essential in why our day was so smooth and helped us plan and think of things we hadn't considered yet! They also provided so many votives, charges, tables, chairs, outside lights, and signage!! We've been getting nothing but compliments on our day and the Charleston was a huge part of it! Absolutely cannot recommend the team and the venue enough! The price was also fantastic and the location was perfect for all of our extended family to travel to!

Had my daughter's wedding there at the end of November. . Shannon the owner, does a top-notch job there! I didn't lift a finger. everything went smooth as silk.!! My daughter and son-in-law were pleased Beyond expectations.

The Charleston Event Center is such a gorgeous venue! I had to find a new ceremony site 2 months before my wedding and Pam, the wedding coordinator, was fantastic. She was very responsive from the beginning and so accommodating. She will work hard to exceed your expectations! One of the many great features of this venue is the stunning Bridal Suite. It is elegant and functional. My hair and makeup artist were impressed. It was also a great place to relax and enjoy my friends and family.
Not only is the building beautiful, the landscaping is gorgeous, no matter the season! My guests were impressed.

First of all, Shannon is the best. I can't rave enough about her, my bridal party loved her as well, and we got so many complements between how beautiful the venue is and people came up to say that Shannon was just amazing as well. Our parents were so impressed by her, her staff and the space. This venue is gorgeous. I love how charming it is, the set up of the parlor and the ballroom which opens up to the veranda. The adorable swing, canoe and dock to the pond made for the best wedding pictures. The place inspires romance. We had the most perfect day, I owe so much of that to Shannon making sure that everything went perfect. Our wedding didn't have anything go wrong and it's because their vendor list is THE BEST. Thank you to Shannon and everyone at the Charleston!

Excellent venue for weddings and other events. I'm an event vendor and have always had great experiences with the staff here. Plus, absolutely beautiful courtyard outside for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, etc.

So what can I say about a fantastic wedding venue! My last daughter just got married here. Things couldn't have gone better - had the time of my life!! Shannon is a total gem to work with and is so sincere and sweet! She truly wanted the wedding to be a success. Many questions to me that day was "how did you find such an amazing venue"! The outside patio area is fantastic and makes for great pictures. I have never reviewed anything before but this place was well worth the review. You cannot go wrong to choose this! Enjoy...…...

We had our daughter's wedding there this month and it was absolutely gorgeous. We could not have ask for a more perfect venue. I can not thank the two Sarahs enough for all their help and professionalism. The stress they took off me was amazing. You gals rock!!!

Charleston is the place to host your large events. We got married there August 2019 and the customer service was flawless and an absolute dream. The staff went above and beyond in everyway and made wedding planning super easy. We chose the location because it has everything we needed, nature, updated venue with a.c., free parking, and multiple areas guests could go if they needed a break from the party. I would 100 percent recommend booking. Shannon and the staff felt like family and we're super flexible with us using their space and making our vision come to life.

Just had our wedding reception here a little over a week ago, and it was nothing short of amazing! Our guests had a great time & so did we! Perfect spots for photos outside and inside, and Shannon was SO helpful throughout our planning process! It couldn't have been any better and would highly recommend! We had an amazing time and it was so nice to finally relax there after all the stress of wedding planning!

I’m so happy we found and rented the Charleston for my wedding this month. The reception was beautiful, and guests commented on how stunning the building and its grounds are for photos. Pricing is very reasonable considering you can DIY several things to your liking. Shannon is amazing to work with, organized and gets things done! Would happily recommend to someone else, I can’t wait to see this place grow in popularity.

Everything was perfect for our wedding! The day was beautiful and having the ceremony on the veranda surrounded by the gardens and overlooking the pond was a great setting! Pam, the event coordinator was there every step of the way to make sure our plans went smoothly and that the entire evening was absolutely magical. Our friends and family have said it was "the best wedding ever"!

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Charleston Event Center. It was sooooo beautiful and perfect. Pam and Lorah helped with all the details and our day was flawless. Pam helped make my daughters wedding special the entire wedding day. She is the best. Our guests had a wonderful time and thought the venue was beautiful.
