Mr. Tran altered a bridesmaids dress for me a year or so ago and was fantastic to work with. He was able to get it altered in literally 24 hours and the pricing was super fair. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a quick turnaround. He does VERY high quality work!

I needed a zipper for the hood on my jacket and stopped in. She was so pleasant. They did a wonderful job, and I thought very reasonably priced. If needed, I will not hesitate to go back

My fiance and I had our clothing for our wedding in April altered at Best Fit Tailor. We took them in to the shop near the end of January (pretty last minute on our part), but he assured us they would be ready well before the wedding date. From the very first meeting, we loved him! He was so professional and treated us like we were old friends. When I first showed him my dress, he was so excited and loved it as much as I do, which made me feel so beautiful and confident! He is beyond reasonably priced, when he told us the total, I was sure he only meant for my dress when it was actually the total for BOTH my dress and my fiance's clothes! He wished us the biggest congratulations, again making us feel like good friends. Our outfits now fit perfectly and we can't wait to show off on our big day! We will most definitely be back, thank you Best Fit Tailor!!

I had a pair of suit pants altered here. After the alterations were made there was still a minor tweak that needed to be made after when I picked them up. The tailor made the additional alteration right there on the spot and my pants were ready to go within 10 minutes.

The business really did a great job on altering a suit jacket I wanted to wear for a NYE wedding. I really appreciated the time put in to make sure I was comfortable with all the alterations (I’m a tall and slim man with really long limbs). I’ll be back for sure!

This place is so good, I continue to use them for my alterations even though I am not located near them anymore. The work is incredible, done in good time, and the quality is exceptional. It's also a pleasure to visit the shop; every time I go in, I am treated like a long time friend even when it's been months between visits.

The person who owns the shop is the one who does the alterations. I have used his shop for many years. Hung knows us by name now.

We have had nothing but great experiences. Hung is meticulous and accurate on all materials he had altered for us. If we are in a rush, he tries to squeeze stuff in. He is not over priced and cares about the work that he does.

Had three pairs of pants that I needed hemmed in a hurry for a trip. Had them done in a matter of a few hours. Price seemed higher than normal, but just assumed that was due to a ‘rush’ charge. Happy with the work and accommodating my schedule. Will be back.

I typically don't write reviews however I felt the need to let this business know how happy I was.

I called to see how late the business would be open. I knew they were closing soon, but needed to get five pair's of pant's hemmed. They called me as I got closer to ensure I was still coming. I appreciated that as they seemed to care.

Upon entering I was greeted with a warm welcome. They were very sweet and engaged in communication.

When I got my pant's back I was very impressed with the hem job they performed. The stitching was amazing and was again impressed with the quality.

I would go back again for anything I needed done with pant's, etc.

I got my suit altered here because I lost some weight and it was loose on me. The suit turned out very well fitted and service was quick! The tailor was really friendly; I would recommend coming to this place.

It has been a very boring Saturday afternoon staying home with nothing to do because of Covid-19. I wanted to find something meaningful to do. I immediately thought of a friend who had a tailor shop in Des Moines. I can team up with him to do something good helping people out during this pandemic time, making masks, making a hundred of them to donate to the local hospitals. I told him that I would go to the stores to purchase some good materials and flex bands for him to make masks. I went to different places, Michael then Dollar store, then to the next , a total of seven places and I found nothing, absolutely nothing.
I called him up to let him know that I have failed, I could not even find one yard of materials after four hours of searching around Des Moines and apologized that I have disappointed him.
In return, he told me not to worry since he would be able to find some leftover materials to make masks. I was extremely happy when I learned that. Thank God for your help making it happen. The man who helped making 50 masks to donate to Mercy Hospital. The gentleman that helped make it happen is the owner of “Best Fit Tailor” shop on Douglas Avenue by Walgreen. Thank you for your generosity.

Did an excellent job on both my wedding dresses!looking at them you would never know they were altered and the owner sent me home with free egg roles!
