From start to finish, working with HL has been by far the best building experience. Their response to our bid request was quick, accurate and competitive, they were professional and honest during the building process, and we ended up with our beautiful dream home. Our building superintendent, Tyler Wetzel, as well as both Jimmy's worked so hard to make sure everything was done timely and that we were happy. It seems to be unusual these days to not only be able to say you have had a great building experience, but you end up with friends in the deal, too.

From the 1st phone call with Big Jimmy to closing with Tyler, HL has been an answer to our prayers. HL was more than happy to answer questions and offer solutions from day one to closing. There was never anything that popped up on our build that they didn’t handle immediately and with such concern. They worked diligently and quickly to get us our home after years of life moving us around. Jimmy Jr, Aaron and all of the guys are all friendly and would check on our house progress weekly and we always felt in the loop which gave us peace.

We were truly blessed to have Tyler Wetzel as our Superintendent. He maintained honest, constant, and effective communication at all times. Tyler pushed to get the house done so we could have holidays in our new home. Every design meeting we had, people went on and on about how helpful Tyler has been and we seriously don’t think we’d be in the house without him. When I’d freak out, he always assured us that things were ok and that he was on our side, and he’d handle any issue very quickly. On days we couldn’t get to the house, if we knew he was going I felt more ok because he had taken the time to get to know us and what we wanted in our home. He’d give advice but always acknowledged that it was our “personal preference”. He took time to help me move stuff around on the last weeks, helped fix a light more times than he’d like and he was doing touch ups on the last day even. I’m a perfectionist and he started to catch things before I’d even tell him and say they were already being discussed with the guys. He was kind to our kids and for that we will always request Tyler for any future projects.

To find a company who we immediately trusted to build our forever home, and who treated the process as if they were building a home for their family, was a gift from God.

I have had the great pleasure of working with HL Custom homes on the build of my new home. Everyone is friendly and more than accommodating to my needs. I highly recommend them if your looking for a professional home builder that takes pride in the homes they build.

We recently purchased property and started reaching out to various builders. HL has been, BY FAR, the most responsive one we have worked with. (Some don't even respond to inquiries at all but I'm comparing HL to other responders and they are best in class so far.)
