When we had the opportunity to get out of the rat race and in to the country, there was only one name my husband, a real estate appraiser for many years, had only one suggestion: Doug Parr. Starting from square one, the Doug Parr group worked with us to find the perfect lot and plans for our home and lifestyle. They were top notch professionals throughout the relationship; built us a beautiful home of high quality standards and it was far more affordable than we'd ever imagined. I couldn't have hoped for more or better as they continued the relationship far beyond the building stage. After a year in our home now, we can only affirm we made the right decision and well placed our trust.

5 stars is not enough! 10 stars is more like it! We love our Doug Parr Custom home! The process was seamless, timely and worry free. Worry free because our sales agent Jessica Miller was absolutely the best! She sent us pics and updates every week with the progress (we were from out of state), kept us informed with anything concerning the building process and just truly cared about us. She is more like a friend to us now! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jessica and the rest of the crew (Jordy Clark) at Doug Parr Custom Homes. Class act! Thank you DPCH for this beautiful home. We will cherish it forever!

Building a home with Doug Parr Custom homes was a great experience. Clint was great - helping us with decisions, and walking us through the process. Wes was great to work with - communications were perfect. The other staff were great as well - helping with selections, keeping us on budget, etc. Doug is a good guy and we enjoyed several conversations. Now we have our "retirement" home. It is awesome, exactly what we wanted, and at a very good price. Thank you Doug and staff...you made this an easy and enjoyable experience, and we are extremely happy with our new home.

Doug Parr and his team have taken amazing care of my family and I. My husband and I began looking at lots a year prior to our build and found the perfect lot. After looking at our options for a builder, we quickly picked Doug Parr because of their attention to detail. We were blown away! Fast forward to finding a lot and an incredible builder.... we are completely in love with our home. Doug and his team have been so responsive and their communication has been impeccable. Wes was our superintendent and we can’t say enough great things about him. We were very involved with the entire process and his communication and professionalism was incredible. He truly made this entire experience so amazing for our family. We also cannot say enough great things about Doug Parr’s company. Clinten was very helpful and prompt answering any questions or concerns. Again, we recommend them over and over again! You’re in GREAT hands with Wes, Clinten and Doug!

Now that we’ve been in the house a few days and we’re starting to settle in, we are looking back on the experience of building with Doug Parr Custom Homes. We love our new home and we enjoyed working with each of them.

We especially enjoyed Kellie who worked diligently to get us in as quickly as possible. It was obvious that she heard us when we said the interim living was less than ideal, and put a tremendous effort into staying on top of every little step, proactively addressing possible delays, and managing the project with the urgency every family hopes for in their superintendent. She was extremely responsive to us every time we would reach out and obviously considered us more than just another “house”. She was a professional through and through but was able to relate to us personally, assuring us that she had everything under control. She was truly a joy to work with. Rebecca's talent with decor choices, and dedication to finding beautiful options within our budget was impressive.

We are so thankful for a beautiful home in which we can begin this new chapter of life.

We are currently building a home with Doug Parr. We are about 30 days from completion and our overall experience with this builder has been outstanding. We have had many questions along the way and Doug and his team have been very patient and thorough with us. We have built homes in the past and this, by far, has been the best experience. Doug and his team have definitely gone above and beyond for us. As a most recent example, our property has many trees and the electric company wanted to push all of our trees in the front to bury the lines. Clinten Bailey rented a trenching machine himself and trenched through a deer trail thereby saving all of our trees! Doug and his team truly care about the customer. Kellie (our build superintendent) has always been available for our many questions during the build. She is very attentive and strives to ensure that the build process is smooth. Even Doug's wife has given her time and assisted with picking out granite, flooring, paint colors, etc. She does this on her own time and at no charge to the customer. She has been a huge help for us. In addition, all of the subcontractors for each build phase have been friendly and professional and have also given their time to answer our questions. So, if you are looking to build a custom home, I can't say enough good things about Doug Parr and his team. I highly recommend this builder. They are truly amazing to work with.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish!!

So when you go to buy, or build, a new home there are usually tons of things happening all around you. Maybe you will be selling your old house, changing jobs, changing your kids school, having more kids, working with a lender, managing your credit and you will be expected to do all this in 24/7 365.

We had our fair share of life happening and we are so thankful that we had Doug Parr building our home. They were first class all the way during our build. We worked closest with Clint and Kelli and you can see that they really care about their clients.

Keep in mind that there are hundreds of moving parts during a new build. So things won’t always go right the first time every time, but Doug Parr will make sure that it is done right before it is finished.

All of their subcontractors were also up to the task. Doug Parr made sure they were excellent. They were so professional and held themselves to the highest standard. Time after time we noticed things they did that went above and beyond what we expected them to do.

Needless to say, if we had to do it again, we would choose Doug Parr again. Do yourself a favor and choose them to build your house if you want it done right and with peace of mind.

My husband and I purchased a spec home from Doug Parr while it was still in the framing stage. We wanted to make the move from Argyle to Boyd so we could have a peaceful home in the country while I recover from several medical issues. We are so happy and feel blessed that Doug Parr Custom Homes delivered the perfect size spec home on a beautiful peaceful lot that we are turning into our home day by day now that we’re moved in:) Through the building process, every employee was helpful and played an important role to help get this home built. Rebecca made some INCREDIBLE design choices that made everything feel even more like a home that was meant for us from day 1! She even made an awesome surprise gift basket that we received after closing which was amazing!! Just like any building project there were a few small issues along the way, but the staff was always quick to answer our questions which made the customer service great! Clint was especially helpful with communication and making everything that we wanted and needed happen! Part of our deal included a privacy fence which turned out to be one of the best fences structurally and aesthetically that we’ve ever seen! They have some excellent subs too.
We have recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so!!!

Wow. This was the most incredible home building experience that I have had and I am so incredibly thankful for Doug, Clint, Wes and Rebecca for their service. I have built before and I was skeptical coming in to this because of what I had experienced with other home builders however there was not 1 time in this process that I was disappointed, left wondering or waiting to get clarity. Everyone was so accessible and thoughtful. They were attentive to details that mattered and communicative throughout the build. I am still blown away at what has transpired and how great of an experience it was. The best part of this is they promised to do their best to get us in before Christmas and they accomplished that, not sacrificing any quality or cutting corners to make it happen.
