Humboldt Bar & Grill

Trying to find a good restaurant these days can be challenging but we certainly lucked out while staying in Garberville. We ordered takeout & were extremely pleased with everything! Hubby got a house salad which was beyond generous with lots of variety. We ordered the hand breaded mushroom caps which were exceptional with the ranch dressing. We also ordered the super nachos with carna Asada and they did not disappoint! Fresh, homemade chips with fresh guacamole and salsa and sour cream topped the refried beans (homemade with lard I could definitely taste, mmm, mmm!) cheese, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The staff was excellent, very personable and sweet. Good prices will guarantee a return visit next time we're in the area. Recommend!👍👍👍

I was hesitant to eat here due to all the mixed reviews, but this was the best, most flavorful chili relleno! If you're a steak and potatoes kind of person, this isn't good you. Hubby liked his steak so he ended up with the tri-tip sandwich. He was very happy with the flavor and really enjoyed his sandwich.

We had a birthday celebration! They even provided birthday balloons. The service was incredible and the food so delicious. I had shrimp fajitas that were the best!!

Driving 101 and just pulled off and chose Humboldt Bar & Grill.
The chicken salad and burrito were fabulous.
The service was equally great, attentive and a smile.
This was a memorable moment in our 101 adventure.

I always enjoy Humboldt Bar and grill. Yummy shrimp cocktail and nachos. Nice service.

Ordered the chicken sandwich..l loved it.. the garlic and and chicken tastes really good.. felt little greasy... little grease would have been awesome...

Having lived in Mexico for 12 years I can tell you these tacos are the real deal. I didn't get a side of roasted onions or radishes with them, but that's ok! The flavor was spot on and the portions were generous.

It's really pretty good, but the lighting kept reminding me of Star Trek TNG's episode Chain of Command episode. Somehow the lighting is just a little over the top bright and super white. Great beer, pretty good burgers & fries & friendly helpful staff. Just wear your rose colored glasses 😉

We stopped to eat here on our way home from a week long trip. The staff was so nice and accommodating for my Special Needs Step Daughter. The food was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to try many more items on their menu!!

The girl working today (4/16/23) was amazing. She was nice and attentive. The food was amazing. I rarely eat out because mexican food restaurants are usually not good. But this place is great and not too expensive. The only downside was a customer who kept giving us bad looks. yes we were the only Mexicans eating in... But the camarones a la diabla were spicy enough that my bf actually was spiced out. And the green enchiladas were really good. Definitely recommend this place.

Delicious food! I had a tasty burger with everything, except the bun, because I eat GF. Very nice quality burger! I look forward to our next time. I had chili relleno previously and it was delicious too!

I ordered the Tri tip sandwich
The meat was delicious, fries were perfect, flavors were right.
The waitress was kind, and great at taking care of everything.
Definitely give it a shot.

We ordered Mexican food here, it’s basically a Mexican Restaurant. Best Chili Relleno I’ve ever had!! Excellent apps, especially the fried Mushroom caps. Great pit stop on your journey through the Red Woods!! Note: they just serve beer & wine no Liquor

Absolutely loved this place. The people were so nice even though i looked like a bum. Im cycling down the pacific coast and stopped here for lunch. Food was awesome. Order from the Mexican side of the menu. Experienced my first earthquake there and had no idea what to do but the staff made sure to help me out. Wish i had time to go back for more food. If i ever come through here again ill definitely make it a stop. Hope you guys read this. Thank you.

Have eaten here with friends many times. This is American/Mexican food. Have not found any food that disappointed. The Chili Relleno are the bomb.

The food may not be the fastest but it is authentic and delicious. Home made tortillas and chicken was fresh and cooked to perfection.
