Woodrose Cafe

The Woodrose is a gem! We stopped here for breakfast while visiting the area. We initially selected the Woodrose because they had gluten-free options. I had the gluten-free pancake, the bacon, and scrambled eggs. It was all so delicious! It was the best gluten-free pancake I've ever had! The bacon was equally good.

I highly recommend the Woodrose Cafe to all stopping through the area.

Wow! One of the best spots to stop along the way, a gem just off the main 101 and they have everything. I had a full breakfast and the service was so good I almost stayed for Brunch/wine but had to get to the next hiking spot.

Definitely worth taking the exit!

If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast or lunch spot in Garberville, look no further than The Woodrose Cafe! This place is a true gem. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly service and a warm atmosphere.

The real star of the show, however, is the food. Everything is clearly homemade with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Had the mushroom omelet and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was just right. You could really taste the dedication of the chef in every bite. The Raspberry jam was unbelievable, I could have eaten it straight with a spoon.

It's evident that The Woodrose Cafe cares about using local and organic ingredients whenever possible. This commitment to quality is what truly sets them apart. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure my experience was enjoyable from start to finish.

Overall, I can't recommend The Woodrose Cafe highly enough. It's a fantastic spot for delicious homemade food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. If you're in Garberville, don't miss it!

Cute little cafe with water color art for sale on the walls of local landscapes. The juevos rancheros was yum and they make several different types of chili sauces that are already on the table. My friend had the breakfast scramble special of the day and loved it

A truly hidden gem. The eggs woodrose was an excellent and expertly crafted eggs Benedict. On the side were amazingly seasoned country potatoes. The Full House omelette had the most exquisite and succulent ham. If I lived here I would eat at this restaurant every day. 10/10

Had to stop in the town overnight due to a flat tire on our way up the coast. The next morning we came to woodrose for breakfast and it was SO delicious it almost made the flat tire worth it haha. I recommend this place 10 out of 10 stars if your passing through town!!

The WoodRose Cafe was a very hospitable Cafe. A beautiful intimate Cafe in the heart of Southern Humboldt. The food was fresh, cooked very well, & they had plenty of options. Also the Tea Menu was very nice, served at the perfect temperature with honey available. My friends & I enjoyed this place twice during our visit to Garberville. I look forward to coming back on my next visit & bringing more friends with me. Thank you for welcoming us.

Nice small town cafe! Service was really good but the food was one of the best breakfast I had. Waiter was on time always for more coffee and the bacon it's incredible!

Great service, comfortable seating, and delicious food! We really enjoyed our lunch here: there are lots of good options to choose from, both food and drink (including beer). Would recommend for breakfast or lunch. 😊

Woodrose is a cute and small little diner.
Fare leans towards the healthy side, featuring many organic ingredients.
The prices can get pretty high if you do add on’s.
For breakfast my favorites are: two eggs & toast, huevos rancheros, and the buttermilk pancake.
For lunch my favorite item is by far the club sandwich. The club is way better than your average diners. I also like their salad and soups.

Hidden GEM!! I was traveling with a group that has various dietary restrictions and each person found something they LOVED and there were many options. Nice atmosphere and awesome fresh juices! It's worth the detour to stop here for lunch!

The menu seems like you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose, the food was delicious, the service was fantastic and friendly and the atmosphere was most definitely enjoyable! A little pricey but food was worth it!

The best huevos rancheros that I have had in years!

The service was good. The place was packed for a Wednesday morning. Definitely recommend this as a brunch stop.

The food is so fresh and flavorful! I've only ordered food to go on the weekends but the place anyways seems busy. Normally get the Huevos Rancheros or the Full House omelette. Still need to try some lunch items. It is pricey but you really are paying for the quality of food.

What a gem! Excellent “Eggs Woodrose”, a riff on benedicts, & fabulous potatoes. I always appreciate a one or two egg selection! Plus tea & coffee in a pot, great service, & a box of local hot sauces on the table.

I ordered the buttermilk pancake (full) and two eggs over medium on top of a side of pinto frijoles. So good.

My wife ordered the full gluten free pancake and it was amazing. The bacon is also fantastic!
