River Flats Apartments

Have had a few friends who have found affordable section 8 housing here. In unit dishwasher, in-unit whirlpool laundry, central AC and community room with free wifi and computers to use. Two huge elevators. Underground parking. Double locked front entry doors. Lots of cameras to ensure security and safety. Management is strict to ensure tenants are following housing rules no smoking, etc however there is a year long waitlist to get in.

Haven't become a tenant at the present time. But the units are beautiful.

Has everything I want and need in an apartment. If there were any issues they fix them immediately.

I've seen the pictures of the inside of the apartments and they're beautiful. Thank you so much, Janesville really needed an apartment complex such as this. Low income people shouldn't have to live in a dilapidated home just because they're low income. They work just as hard as anyone else.

Nice a clean

I live @ River Flats Apartments; Only two things I don't like about location: 1) trains come through @ all hrs of day or night & sound horn @ every intersection (required by law & for safety) but if people & babies are trying to sleep they're sleep gets disturbed 2) can't work on/repair vehicles in parking garage only in parking lot or off site

Apartments were cheaply built. They have a balcony with sliding window but no balcony to stand on. Parking garage stalls are tight. Walls and doors are easy to damage.

I wish they had affordable housing for people in the middle. I make 3k too much for the affordable housing and there is no way I or others can afford $920 plus utilities a month.
