Sumpters Jewelry

My mother in law and I recently had multiple pieces of jewelry worked on at Sumpters. Several pieces were resized and a couple were custom designed using family heirlooms. We were blown away by the fantastic customer service we received. When we weren’t sure what we should do with a piece, they were able to offer suggestions and options. Our jewelry is beautiful and it was such a quick turnaround! Everyone was so kind to us from the moment we walked in and made sure that we were happy with everything we received. They also treated my daughter like a princess! Who could ask for more?!?

I have been toSumpters several times in the past and always had good service and good value.
I recently brought my engagement ring in to be repaired. It’s over 30 years old and approximately 10 years ago I had to have it made Larger The piece of gold fill out.. I had taken it to a jewelry store because it was closer to home and was told that the repair would be $1000.
I brought it to Sumpters and was assisted by Caleb Upton. he estimated that the charge would be approximately $200. I was very happy with this price and when I returned the call. I was advised the charge was $160 and the Repair had already been completed. My ring looks beautiful and Caleb service was extraordinary. Thank you Sumters so much..

One of the best jewelry stores I have ever went to.
They are always nice and customer service Is amazing. Makes you feel like you're at home when you're buying your jewelry from them. I took my grandchildren with me. And they were so awesome to my grandchildren, it was unbelievable. This is a great place to buy your jewelry.

My first time in the store was yesterday and the experience was just amazing . I spoke with Kaleb and he was nothing less of amazing … I was looking to get my Jewlery cleaned and an alternate ring for my husband until we get his original back … Kaleb made sure I was happy and was very honest up front with pricing and what each piece of Jewlery was/been made from. He left no question unanswered… Kaleb the ring fit him and he loves it … thank you so much for your time and of course you have gained another customer!!!! Until next time

I just had my Rolex repaired by Sumpters Jewelry. My band had stretched out and broken twice. I was told by other jewelers it couldn’t be repaired. After sending to Sumpters Jewelry I was amazed by workmanship! It was returned looking like a brand new watch! They were honest and reasonable. I would recommend using this jeweler to anyone. I was referred to Marco to bring my 20 year old Tag Heuer back to life. This was the best referral I’ve had in a long time! Service and precision is at an unexpected high in this wonderful gem (pun intended) of a fine jeweler and a master watch restoration expert. My watch works and looks like new. Needed a few links taken out after the repair and Marco had me in and out, and no additional charge. Just great service! I’ll be back for my next purchase!

Sumpter Family owned Jewelry, is hands down the best Jewelry store/pawn shop. They actually give you what your Jewelry is worth. And if you're buying anything, they'll work with you to where you can afford it, or you can put it own a plan payment. They won't hound you about your payments. They're understandable with that part. They also have the best Jewelry in charlotte. I have been staying here my whole life and just found out about them right b4 Thanksgiving, and that's my favorite store. If u buy Jewelry I suggest you to stop buy and check em out, even if ur trying to pawn or gotta loan, I suggest you check em out. I'm telling u right now They're are going to give u way more than any pawn shop in charlotte or surrounding areas.

Marco got my old watch from 1965 running perfectly. It was running really fast, off by an hour at the end of the day, and now it’s right on time!! Thank you!!

Not sure about the negative reviews that came back to back about this place. I had great experiences dealing with this place. The sales reps were very helpful and knowledgeable. They really look out for you and not just to make the sale. They take their time explaining the details and build a long-lasting relationship/friendship with you. I will come back here even if I have to pay a little bit more because great customer service and knowledge are very rare these days.

I found out about this place a while ago. My husband took me here to get a necklace. I decided to go back for my 14th year anniversary and get a new wedding ring and because I know they have a good selection and very good quality I am beyond pleased to say that I am very thrilled about my purchase so grateful that I was able to find what I needed. I dropped off my boyfriends Rolex Sky-Dweller for a repair and cleaning from a fall and scratch on the band. Marco did an amazing job getting it back to its original state- looks like nothing ever happened. We appreciate your work and fantastic customer service. Recommend anyone with higher end jewelry to go here.

Carolyn Mccoy over at Sumpters is the absolute BEST ! She sold me a fair priced Rolex 36mm and even took the time to educate me on my purchase and tips to maintain it. I came the next week and purchased a diamond bezel & rope necklace. Excellent customer service when I needed to get my Rolex appraised. Honestly, Sumpters Jewelry is the best in the business and has been for years because they have a knowledgeable sale staff like Carolyn Mccoy.

Tyler and the watch repairman were great, my watch came apart when I was traveling to CLT Airport. I don’t live in Charlotte so I googled watch stores nearby and called them hoping they could help. They told me to stop in and they fixed my watch immediately! Exceptional customer service, thank you Sumpters for coming to my rescue!

Old-school shop but ran by young folks. I really enjoyed the traditional vibe.

Exceptional customer service. Jeweler onsite to resize a platinum ring. Even bought a pearl bracelet from these guys. Just a great, honest outfit.
