Emmy Lou's Diner

We were passing through Napa and needed to eat breakfast. Whipped out Maps and found Emmy Lou's Diner. Had to go because we have a grandchild named Emmy Lou. We were not disappointed. They were fairly busy for a Saturday morning, but we were greeted and seated within minutes.
They took our drink order right away and got us our menus quickly. My wife ordered the Frittata, and I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. I was a bit surprised by how quickly our food arrived. I loved that they had a variety of condiments already on the table. I loved the Gunslinger Jalepeno sauce. Both entrées were delicious. I really liked the Frittata. The coffee kept coming without having to flag down the waitstaff. Everyone there was so attentive and friendly.
I used the facilities while we were there, and the restroom was spotless and well stocked. All in all it was a very nice experience.

Emmy Lou's is a mom and pop sort of diner with traditional American breakfast and lunch servings. The food is inexpensive and definitely filled the morning breakfast need I had. The staff are all super friendly. I will be back. Thank you all.

We happened to be driving down the street going to a appointment that we had at 9am we ended up being a little bit early so we started to look for a place to eat and we happen to see the big red sign that said Diner on it that's the place we chose we go in there and the hostess was wonderful that greeted us it was so nice the place even smelled clean I am going to give this a 20 star review if I could this place I can't even get over how clean it was there wasn't even dust on the ceiling fans that the signs weren't even Dusty there is nothing on the floors this place was so clean you could even eat off the floors the food was good they had $5 mimosas in orange or Cranberry it was so nice I can't even get over how clean again I got to say this place was it was immaculate we had an Orlando special which was some eggs and some toast it was so good that we ate it before I could finish taking the picture lol so if you happen to be in the area and they're looking for a great little in-and-out place or just a diner or a hole in the wall this is the place to come to great food great service and I guarantee you will not leave disappointed

Easy going low key locals diner in the south Napa. We arrived at 1130am on 4th of July. Immediately seated, served, and sated 35 minutes. Everywhere else was booked or closed. Secret gem. Shop local. Stay local.

This place right here... nice lil feel like you stopped at your families ( Tia or tio, grandparents)for good cooking & hot food. 🤗 Amazing biscuits and gravy we had to glance over to the kitchen to see if my wife was back there. I've only tasted gravy that good at home! Such goodness ... Mimosas on point... Thank you for the GREAT customer & grub.

Absolutely love this diner! The owner is very interactive with his guests and the food is always cooked to perfection. I would recommend the biscuits and gravy and their hot chocolate:)

Went with some coworkers everything was good. I had the patty melt it taste like they use fresh hamburger not prepackaged burger patties it made all the difference! Great little place, when everywhere else is skimping this place is still producing good food at a good price!

We are visiting Napa for a couple of months and have visited Emmy Lou's a few times. They do a great job with both breakfast and lunch. Service is fast and friendly. Atmosphere is basic casual diner. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered, but the steak sandwich is my favorite.

Great little Mom and Pop diner nestled in a shopping center in Napa Valley. Comfort foods in a relaxing environment. We just finished hiking at Skyline Ridge park and we were dusty and sweaty, nothing but smiles and lots of hellos from the staff. I had a Reuben and fries, my wife had a patty melt and the kids went for grilled cheese sandwiches. All very tasty. It's the kind of restaurant you go to 2 or 3 times a week for lunch because you really like the food and the price is right.

After several times eating here, trying to become a regular customer, they have failed to not only 'listen' to my orders, but other things they serve, they are lazy about preparing. This time i'm done. Enough chances.
I ordered my hash browns 'extra crispy' but NO, they can't get that right. They were soft and mushy. And as far as their so-called 'Buttered toast' what a joke. There was a spot about the size of a dime on one slice and No butter whatsoever on the other slice. Of course they offer to get more butter for your cold toast and to re--fry the hash browns while your eggs get colder, but no thank you. I have better things to do than wait again.
I REALLY don't think I'll return. I've given too many chances. Im sure they are better to their regulars.

Food was great, plenty if it, service was excellent, great feel like a favorite local diner.

The food was more than we could eat. It came out so fast and fresh. My wife and I were happy we happen to pick this place, we definitely recommend it!

Always friendly, clean, yummy food always start with a Mimosa. And OPEN when you might not expect them to be. Good family location, not fancy.

Great Ham and cheese omelet. Love the hash browns. Service was great. Wish they would stay opening later.

Been going to Emmy Lou's for a very long time. Kinda, your old school style Diner. It's cheap and cheery. The food is good and the portions are ample.

I go there frequently. Always good food and service. Staff is friendly and fast. Menu has plenty of options plus a special. I love it.

This place was a gem of a find. Service was exceptional. The food was perfectly prepared and quick. Be prepared though. It’s ALOT of food!!

This place is my favorite for the last 15years & every time that i go to eat. Is the same experience.the food is great /the servers work very hard & the owner don RUBEN IS A WONDERFULL PERSON!!
