This place is the hidden gem downtown Leesburg. Amazing food, service, atmosphere. We always get to talk to the owner and see him running around every time we come. This place is run with love and you can feel it and taste it. Start with the nachos, you won't regret it.

Great place to sit down enjoy some amazing food and your company. Owner and staff is amazing. They accommodate vegan diets too. Mike actually slow-smokes the jackfruit for 5 hours! I could see myself just relaxing here! Anyway… you definitely need to check them out.

Cool vibe at this place, with great food and really great staff. The smoked bbq pulled pork is awesome…some of the best I’ve ever had (and I’m from Texas!!!). Also a nice draft beer selection. We had dinner at Trungo’s before a show at Tally Ho Theater, and it was a great! Highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I came in here for dinner last night (Thursday). It was very quiet, but don't let that scare you off! Our waitress was absolutely lovely, she knew the menu inside and out and recommended several dishes to us. She offered to bring us samples of their draft beers if we needed help deciding on a drink. We ended up getting the short ribs with the colcannon potatoes and their mac n cheese with candies jalapenos. Everything was absolutely delicious and came out so quickly! They make their BBQ sauce in house and it was excellent. After we finished, the owner came over and chatted with us. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his restaurant. He also told us he makes his own sourdough, so we will definitely be back to try that! Can't recommend this place enough!

Not a vegetarian restaurant, but they offer several vegetarian entrees and the ability to make other ones vegetarian with a jackfruit substitute. Great sides too. Grilled cheese with jackfruit and mac n cheese with candied jalapenos were great! Staff were very friendly and service was great.

Trungo's is such a fun place to dine-in. My husband and I were concluding a great evening adventure in Leesburg and decided to try Trungo's for dinner. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered and shown to a table. We did not have a reservation and I think our timing was perfect because there was a wait not long after we arrived. I ordered a Knot Head hard cider, which was local to Virginia and their specialty cheese stuffed ravioli. My husband ordered a beer and their pulled pork bbq dish. We also had a couple mini desserts to round out the evening. Everything was delicious. From the taste of the homemade pasta to the smokiness in the pulled pork. The staff is really friendly and attentive. There is local artwork for sale on display as well. I definitely recommend Trungo's to anyone who finds themselves looking for a bite in Leesburg. A causal, comfortable, super enjoyable place to get really good food. The chef is obsessed about quality ingredients, and you taste it! You’ll feel like family quickly when you enjoy the fun, relaxing atmosphere.

This was one of our best dining experiences recently. The food is beyond amazing! It’s the best pulled pork I’ve ever had, hands down! The service was great. Our server was very friendly. The owner was very social with us and welcoming to our 3 kids. He even gave them a quick “kitchen tour.” We will definitely go back, and if you haven’t been there yet you’re missing out!

I've been coming to Trungo's since 2018, and have never had a bad visit. Great food, a small but thoughtful bar menu, and caring staff make Trungo's a historic Leesburg staple.

Local gem where one can taste the homemade greatness and love baked into every dish. Are you tired of big chain restaurants with soulless overpriced microwaved meals? Come to trungos and you will taste and feel the difference. A unique, carefully crafted menu with both tasty and healthy options for all palates. Coupled with small town charm and genuine customer service you will be reminded of what dining out is supposed to be like.

My uncle told me that Mike makes the best Reuben in the county, and he is right! The meat was exceptional and perfectly complemented with extra crunchy bread. We loved the cajun shrimp appetizer as well as the smoked olives. I could also devour an entire platter of the macaroni and cheese with candied jalapenos!

We had a wonderful time here. The food was absolutely spectacular and the service was great. I highly recommend the smoked sweet potato, the "hint of smoke" was perfect on it. As someone who smokes their own meats, I can stand by and say the smoking done here is top notch. The pulled pork was moist and had a great smokey flavor without losing the taste of the pork.

I almost hesitant to post this review for fear that I won’t be able to get a seat next visit! Trungo’s is a hidden gem. This was my second visit and it was even better than the first time. I received some intel about heading to the underground on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Last visit we saw the Loudoun Jazz Ensemble and tonight was Swing Shift. The regular restaurant is closed, but the place to be is downstairs and it was standing room only tonight. The band was on! We had a table of about 14 friends meet up - some had been there before and others were new to the venue - but everyone was, pardon the pun, blown away. If you want a fun night to hang with friends, share some good food, drinks and excellent music-go to Trungo’s…just leave a seat for me!

This is one of are usual Friday night dinner spots in downtown Leesburg. Service is always super friendly, and the owner often checks on how everything is. The pulled pork nachos, bratwurst, and short rib dishes are our favorites. Looking forward to going to a live music night.

In addition to the pulled pork nachos, we are now hooked on the Reuben sandwich. My brother-in-law tried the Berkshire pork chop during a recent visit, and he said it was the best pork chop that he's ever had, and he's eaten at a lot of nice restaurants.

So happy we found this place. Super chill little restaurant with great food... What more can you ask for? Definitely planning on coming back here.

The food is unique in the best way! Super friendly & professional staff. I discovered them by following the amazing smell emanating from the restaurant. Now I eat at Trungo’s every time I’m in town!

Seat yourself and get ready to spend a leisurely night savoring some reeeeally yummy food….especially if you get the pulled pork nachos. (Seriously. Get the nachos.) Cosy but not cramped, local decor, chill atmosphere. If you’re looking for fast food, look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for good vibes and tasty food, this’ll be your jam. Oh, and bring your reading glasses to the bathroom. You can thank me later. :)

My company hosted a casual networking event at Trungo’s and we couldn’t be happier! Such an amazing experience. The beverage options were top notch, the food was delicious, and the logistics were wonderful.

Above all else, the staff is a wonderful group of people. Very kind and attentive.
