This was an unplanned stop that absolutely made our day. Leesburg Historical District is perfect its own
right and this restaurant adds to it success. We loved everything about this restaurant. On top of that their flights were 50% off. Six flights later we truly got a sense of the quality of their wine. They know their wine and all were excellent and diverse. We loved their creative descriptions of each one.

We chose their Pasta tasting menu which was delicious and we were full at the end of the meal. The ambiance is lovely and the service very attentive and professional. The menu options are varied.

Street parking is limited and there is parking garage behind the building. The area is safe and charming. There is outside seating when the weather is appropriate.

We highly recommend!

The Wine Kitchen never disappoints! The food is incredible with an ever changing menu, based on availability of locally sourced ingredients. Service is impeccable! Wine selection is great - just ask for a recommendation or try a flight (or two)!

Fifth visit to Wine Kitchen, first Google review of it.

First, get reservations. There aren't a lot of tables, and it's popular.

Second, don't miss out on the mixed drinks. Yes the wine selection is terrific (particularly the flights), but they tend to have some unique drinks that are tasty.

Third, get the roasted brussel sprout salad/appetizer or the giant meat ball. They're fantastic.

Fourth, avoid the beef cheek unless you're looking for something reminiscent of "grandma's Sunday pot roast." My personal favorite is the pepper pasta with the steak added. They also once had a King Salmon special and a Short Rib special that were world-class but those aren't on the day-to-day menu.

Lastly, if you forget a reservation, the bar has maybe 6-8 seats and I've managed to squeeze in there before.

Honestly, I loved everything about this spot. Great servers and great food. As someone who doesn’t drink, it was so lovely that they had multiple zero proof wine options and even a flight! This was my first time having a flight because I’ve never seen zero proof flight options elsewhere. The food was also good, specifically the truffle pasta and the roasted chicken sandwich. The trout was a bit salty but everything else was good so I gave that a pass.

Food was AMAZING. We opted for the tasting menu. We eat at many highly sought out restaurants in DC proper, and this meal was better than almost all of those! We really got our money’s worth, too. The amount of food will not disappoint. Only downside: Our first interactions with service workers were off-putting. When we arrived, we were within 2ft of 3 staff members, none of whom greeted us for a minute plus. It was odd, and not a great way to start the meal. The rest of the experience was fine!

Oh my. Wasn’t quite sure what to expect when we booked our monthly wine club tasting across the street and decided to do dinner at the Wine Kitchen.

Our server was Saieh, and she was fantastic! She navigated us through our appetizer and entree choices, making sure to alert us to the fact that there were Wednesday night specials! Her recommendations on appetizers were spot on and she wasn’t afraid to call on the manager on duty Sam for additional information…

Couldn’t ask for more from the rigatoni bolognese or the halibut we had for dinner. But the real stars of the show were the service we received and the HH appetizers we had!

Everything was great for the Birthday celebration including the personalized card and flowers on the table. Our server was great and very informative about menu and drinks available. Everyone was very nice and customer service oriented, very hard to find these days. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Wow! We loved Wine Kitchen from the incredible and unique selection of wines, to the food pairings, to the amazing service we loved every moment! Steve our bartender made killer old fashions! I love the option to take bottles home & get $20 off each bottle by doing so! If you’re in the Leesburg area this is a must!

Amazing evening spent here with some friends. Half price wine flights @ happy hour. Need we say more?! Amazing soft light, wood and brick vibe. We loved the cozy'ness of the small seating area. Much nicer than a large, loud restaurant. Due to limited seating, revs are definitely needed. It was very popular in the middle of the week on a bad weather night so you know it's good. ;) Server was outstanding and very conscientious regarding GF dietary needs and also made suggestions on wine flights. Will certainly return!

My fiance & I have been going here for several years. We have always had great service and great food. We love the rotation of the menus. This time, we had the pleasure of being served by Geoff. He was phenomenal and has great people skills.

We were greeted by Meredith. She is always so positive and is great with customers. Another server, Atilla, is always so friendly and provides such great service. These people, along with the chefs, make Wine Kitchen worth coming back to time and time again. We love the new renovations and will keep coming back.

Our experience as first timers at The Wine Kitchen was phenomenal! Kayla did a great job suggesting wine selections and items off the menu, and was an awesome server! If you visit, you will have to consider trying the meat and cheese board and cacio e pepe pasta – both were absolutely delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back! :)

Delicious local food with amazing wines and craft cocktails. The service was amazing. Really great place for a date night.

My dinner was so amazing. The cheese cake had bourbon caramel and cinnamon apples on it with a pretzel crust so delicious. It was also light and fluffy like how my grandma made cheesecake.

The soup was crispy pork belly mushrooms and blood orange and was amazing. The mushrooms were long and skinny with great flavor and a crispy Ness to them. The goat cheese ravioli had a nice citrus butter sauce that made it rich and light. It also had pears Walnut and blood oranges which gave it a light fruitiness with a rich fall hardiness.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant in Leesburg! Excellent food which you can pair with great wines.

We had a quiet lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Tried 6 wines plus we had 3 appetizers as tapas plates. They have a good selection of apps and entrees but we stuck with former. You can also get cocktails and beer but, after all, it is the WINE Kitchen. The wines were very good, especially the reds. The food ... superb!

It's a small place, almost intimate, but could probably accommodate 60 or so folks, more once Covid is behind us. Probably will be busy on weekends.

Staff were very pleasant.

You will not be disappointed.

One of the best meals and experiences I've had!

It was my fiance's birthday and they had a little card for her and really made our experience so great!

The food was wonderful - mussels were great and so was the potato pasta,

The dessert was fantastic - s'mores tart was so good!

Finally the drinks, extremely well done!

We had several dishes, all amazing. My crab cakes tasted perfect with amazing texture and generous lumps of crab meat with no low quality filler you see some places. The Duck breast was great as well- super rich and incredibly tender. Drinks were fun also: beachcomber was gone in 2 minutes flat.

Fantastic small downtown leesburg restaurant. Limited menu but everything we tried was delicious. Place cannot accommodate large parties but worth a visit if you are in the downtown leesburg area. Appetizers, fish, meats, and desert were prepped perfectly, plenty of vegetarian options, highly recommend for mid-high cost food dine in restaurant.

Do not skip! A place that can be casual and high end for whatever you're needing in your evening. But most importantly exquisite food, flavorful drinks, knowledgeable staff, and warm atmosphere. While vegetarians have limited options, quality comes strong in every bite. Even the sides show off The Wine Kitchen's ability to put thoughtful flavor in their food.

Also, single stall non-gendered bathroom.

This place was excellent. Food was outstanding. The pasta was superb. It’s small but quaint. The bar well stocked! Wine offerings were extensive!
