What a hidden gem of a restaurant! Such a wide variety of food, coffees, shakes and the kitchen sink! I love that you can get any item on the menu at anytime. Very fair prices and gigantic portions. Family, reasonable date night, or group friendly.
Atmosphere is warm, clean and inviting. Our server was very knowledgeable and sweet! One of the new places that you can get home food such as turkey or meatloaf with all the fixes too! I also liked that dinners come with soup or salad and even an option for ice cream or rice pudding.

Menu is immensely large so bring your fat pants!

Came in for the first time. Place was spotless, bright and fresh feeling with roomy seating. The menu is huge! Portions are super huge!
Our server Natalia was very sweet and attentive. We all tried some different things (couple of us had breakfast selections and couple of us had dinner) All in all, very glad we tried it and are expecting to visit again.
My only critique is that our meals came out too soon after our starters. Not a big deal though.

I went to Sweet Basil for the first time last weekend for breakfast and the food and service were great! Loved my Gyro omelette. So yummy and the side of pancakes…wow! I went back tonightfor dinner with my boyfriend and the ribs and Greek platter were just amazing good. Lastly their homemade cheesecake and blueberry drizzle was heavenly good. Definitely recommend this place. Give this place a chance. Food and services were great both times for me.

Such a cute place! The decor felt like walking into someone's home for a meal... Also very clean. Even the bathrooms! Greeted on arrival by more than one employee... And our server was helpful and so sweet! Drinks came quick... Food came quick. Every meal was delicious, nothing over seasoned. Everything came out together and hot. 😋 And you can tell things are homemade... Even the soup and squeezed orange juice! Good pricing, great portions. We all had leftovers! Quick with grabbing anything extra we needed. Quick and easy check out. Will absolutely be back! 😁🤤

Great restaurant, great service, excellent food! Our server Jennifer couldn't be any nicer. Prices are a bit high but food portions are enormous! The side of pancakes 🥞 could be a meal in itself. The jambalaya omelette was really tasty. Even the standard coffee was really good! Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sweet Basil and I must say, the service was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. Our server, Jan immediately made us feel welcome with her friendly demeanor and attentiveness.

Throughout the meal, Jan went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. She provided excellent recommendations from the menu, catering to our preferences and dietary restrictions with ease. Her knowledge of the menu and ingredients was impressive, and she took the time to answer all of our questions in detail.

What truly stood out was Jan's genuine passion for their work. She seemed genuinely invested in making our dining experience memorable, checking in regularly to ensure that we were satisfied with our meals. Her professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident in every interaction.

In addition to their outstanding service, Jan also exhibited a high level of efficiency. Despite the restaurant being busy, she managed to attend to our table promptly and efficiently, never leaving us waiting for long periods.

Overall, I cannot praise Jan enough for her exceptional service. Her warmth, professionalism, and dedication to providing an outstanding dining experience truly sets her apart. I would highly recommend Sweet Basil to anyone looking for not only delicious food but also exceptional service.

Came here after church and was seated right away! Ample indoor and outdoor seating with a coffee bar as well. HUGE menu but something for everybody’s liking. I ordered the southwestern wrap with a side of buffalo and ranch. It comes with soup and a choice of side (fries, orzo pasta salad, or tricolor pasta salad). The buffalo sauce was homemade, spicy, and AMAZING! I love spicy food and can handle a lot of spice but this buffalo sauce was extra hot. Fast service - was seated, fed, and out of there in 20 minutes. A little pricey for my liking ($24) for lunch and the orange juice was $6 which I thought was a too much. Overall great new addition to Algonquin. They are open until 9pm so they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by the host very nicely. The service was amazing, fast and quick to get my food. The Atmosphere is very inviting and clean! I ordered the corned beef hash Benedict which I have never seen on a breakfast menu, it was absolutely amazing and creative! Overall I would not be leaving a review if I was not completely blown away! Amazing experience and I highly recommend!

Food was really good. Lot of dishes to choose from the menu. Maybe to much ? Service was good. They greeted you right when you walk in the front. Was not a wait at the time.
Servers were good. Seem to be on top of each other but they've only been open for a week. Atmosphere is really good everything clean looks very family-friendly.

The Banana Bread Foster dessert is where it's at here. I live out of state and every time I'm in I have to go here just for that. Also, the Greek combo plate is wonderful - but the stuffed grape leaves are out of this world. The menu is huge and diverse and has something for everyone. Service is friendly. Portions are HUGE. Restaurant and restrooms both clean. Great place.

Our first time there since we’re from down by St. Louis. Charming little café food was magnificent. Plenty of it. My daughter had an omelette and American fries. It came with two huge, beautiful pancakes. She has enough for another meal. It was delicious. My husband had a meatloaf sundae which was mashed potatoes, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a side of broccoli and a couple of soup. All delicious way more than we could take home and I had the Greek chicken dinner. It had a leg and thigh and a breast and wing. I got soup with it. I got broccoli with it and I got wedges and it was covered with like a Greek gravy clear gravy , the service was absolutely good. She was sweet I would go back again and I would have another smoothie and some more of their food can’t say enough sweet basil, Café Algonquin.

Jan had to deal with a large group, at two long tables, all needing separate checks. She was cheerful, efficient and helpful. I had the southwest wrap which was delicious and enough for 2 meals. There was another room on the other side of the restaurant that seemed a bit cozier.

Janet has been serving my dad and his buddies for about 30 years. She is more than a server she has become an important part of their lives and we miss her when she goes on vacation as she knows what everyone likes and how they like it. The restaurant is only as good as the people working there. She's a true gem.

We love going there for breakfast and our server Jan is the greatest. We always feel so welcome and taken care of. Great atmosphere and super yummy banan bread desserts. And the pancakes are the size of dinner plates!!

The food was AMAZING! (Definitely glad they have boxes) and Jan’s service was absolutely fantastic! So sweet and engaged with everyone at the table. Will definitely be back to sit in her section!

Clean environment with pretty and homey atmosphere. Staff was friendly and energetic. Had the steak skillet and sirloin omelette; both were very good, serving size was large, could have done with a slightly cheaper smaller size.

Menu is quite expansive. Been here a few times and everything is good. Had the gyro plate this time. They were very good.
I noticed my credit card had an additional charge on it when reviewing online. I assumed somehow another bill was put on my card. I called and they were able to look up the date and time and immediately reversed it while I was on the phone. They were apologetic and handled the mishap well.

Came in for breakfast with my girlfriends and the service was amazing. The food is great but really can’t mess up breakfast food and the portions are ginormous. Will come back again

I really enjoy coming to Sweet Basil Cafe for breakfast. I am always treated great. The variety of food is amazing. Love seeing Jan and talking with the staff. I highly recommend coming and trying this amazing restaurant.

The place was very well cleaned, smelled so good m!! & our server Jan had such amazing customer service. & checking out was easy Peasy! Definitely recommend & would love to go back.
