My wife and I decided to skip the BBQ on our next trip to Memphis and picked here- what a GREAT choice! Fantastic lunch menu with great prices and portions. The BLFGTA was both of our favorites. The truffle fries were great to share. We would love to return for their brunch menu.

The Galentine’s Dinner menu was quite exquisite. My 16 friends had a wonderful time and there was enough diversity to suit our vegan friends and those seeking other options. The servers were very attentive by anticipating our needs. The food was very flavorful and each bite was delicious.

This historic place is great. I liked Vanessa, our waitress who was really nice, friendly and professional. The food was good, I liked the steak and everything else.

I would not recommend the lucky pot if you are Asian and you are expecting an Asian dish/soup/pho. It’s not it.

The Beauty Shop is such a beautiful homage to Priscilla Presley's beauty salon. The decor is eclectic, unique, and transports you back in time. The brick glass-separated booths with the salon chairs in place bring light to the restaurant theme. We had the Truffle/Parmesan fries as an appetizer, the Apple Salad with Shrimp, the Turkey Club, and the Thai Cobb salad. We were impressed with all of these options.

The only negative during our time at The Beauty Shop was looking up from our booth to a dust-filled chandelier; it could use a good cleaning.

Stopped here for brunch as the last thing we did in Memphis, and it was awesome. Had the pork and peach Benedict, it was perfect. The pork was caramelized just right and the peach gave it extra sweetness, A+. The desert of chocolate merengue was good but not great. Every local we mentioned that we were doing brunch here were excited for us. Known I understand why.

First time to brunch here. Just as good as their dinner service. We didn’t sit in the cozy outdoor greenhouses, but I love the idea for the mid weather season.

The cheese they use in the adult lunchable is unreal!!! Best cognac 75 I’ve had in a very long time. The apps were very good and my ribeye was cooked to perfection.

Love this place. Such a different vibe from other restaurants. Nothing is ordinary on the menu, so you just have to pick something and try it! Make a reservation before going, this place is crowded! Went for brunch and can't wait to try it out again!

We had a great time, great atmosphere, great service, food was awesome! I had a sparkling rosé, my sister had the bootsy coolins👢. For appetizers we had the monkey bread and the wild tennessee mushrooms 🍄 both fantastic. Entrees were the romaine salad with blue cheese, pancetta and pecans with grilled shrimp, and the rainbow trout which came with a grilled ear of 🌽 corn, beautiful presentation. Dessert was strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream and the chocolate meringue pie.
Highly recommend and will absolutely be back!!!

What an incredible and unique place to get some really good.tge service was great and the food was amazing. You have to get yourself a glass of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and a couple of smooth yet grownup great coffee.

Came here with my family and had a wonderful dinner. Had the mushrooms small plate as an appetizer and it was delicious and interesting. Many of the small plates here are actually large enough to have as a dinner or lunch. This restaurant is built into what used to be a 1950s beauty shop, and many of the tables have a 1950s style sit-down hair dryer as a chair. All of the small plates that we had were delicious and had an interesting twist of some kind. We unfortunately have a change of servers in the middle of our meal, and this did disturb the service somewhat but otherwise service was great

The food was very good and the server was great. She recommended the cheese fritter as a starter and she was right. It was light and fluffy with a lil balsamic vinegar and I ate all four of them. I will get them on my next visit. I was told by a friend I had to get the Reuben. It was great, the meat was smokey and delicious and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a different flavorful sandwich. I will highly recommend this restaurant, it is unique and everything was very Good.

The food was so amazing that I requested to see all three chefs and hugged each one. My server Vanessa was so awesome!!! The atmosphere of this place was a fun upbeat vibe.

Loved it. The food was delicious. Presentation was spot on. The atmosphere was lively without feeling rushed. It's one of those places you are delighted to discover is better than the hype around it. The sweet chili sauce on the chicken waffles tasted familiar. The sausage gravy however, was better than granny's. Pretty sure they used butter for the roux and creamy milk with just the right balance of sausage to gravy. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The eggs Florentine Benedict also a big hit. All in all, we loved it and would visit again and again.

A must visit for your Memphis trip or girl's night. Everything was delicious. Our server was amazing. I had the Shake Baby Shake frozen coffee cocktail- delicious and not too sweet. Make sure to get the Brussel Sprouts appetizer. I was nearing full at the end of the meal but could not say no to the gelato. We had the basil and olive oil and raspberry marshmallows. Bot delicious.

What a fun place. The original beauty parlor design, the fun people working there, the food, the drinks. The Fried Chicken Sammy was incredible. Note- it was on a biscuit which was different. Chilechiles apparently were delicious as well, so we’re the drinks. We had a fantastic brunch here on a Saturday morning. If I’d live here, I would make this a regular place to visit.

All of the food and drinks were amazing, but for some reason the time to get everything was very lengthy. Luckily, we had time for a leisurely dinner and I got to enjoy the company of my friends.

The Lucky Pot coconut curry ramen bowl with tofu was spectacular. Every bite had a new pop of flavor and texture from the crunchy noodles on top, pickled red onion, Thai basil, baby mushrooms - it was really a perfect dish. They told us the seasonal menu is changing in a few days, so I don't know if it will stay on the menu, but I will remember that dish for a long time!

A really nice little spot. Parking across the street was easy. Food was amazing, portions were good size and everything was fresh. The fries are delicious!! The cocktails are nicely poured and cute. Service was on point.

The Beauty Shop was able to squeeze us in last minute. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, even with us sitting outside. The food was great. We had the romaine salad with steak, brussel sprouts, eggplant, minced chicken, and shrimp!

The food and the drinks were amazing! The seating area actually looks like a beauty salon. The only con was that the seating area was a bit tight; it wasn't really set up to accommodate large groups or full figured people, so with that in mind I definitely recommend you order to go cause the food is delicious. And also unless you find free parking on the street be prepared to pay a minimum of 5 bucks to park in the public parking lot that's directly beside the building or the lot across the street. Oh and the sign on the outside of the building says Bar and not The Beauty Shop, but if you see the building with the dark green awnings then you're in the right place!
