Arkansas West Memphis Welcome Center

This is a very nice visitors center. The restrooms were nice and clean. Plenty of picnic shelter, a dog walk area, tons of brochures on what the state has to offer.

A decent welcome center with clean rest rooms and very informative help desk.

I stop there fairly, often driving home from work in Memphis up to Greene County. The bathrooms always work, are available, and clean. Also, it is a good place for a quick nap if needed. I've never seen anything out of the way there. There's no guard on duty that I have seen, but it seems to be a safe place from my many stops there.

We were able to verify that we had arrived in Arkansas. Great, 3 out of 5 stars, wouldn't change a thing!

I have been driving between Florida and Arkansas my whole life and i love this welcome center! It is SO BEAUTIFUL, very nice information pamphlets and books! (Free) warm on cold days!

Awesome informative lodge. Built like a cabin with some amenities like rocking chairs with checkers, a few bench's and a TV, complementary coffee, covered outdoor rotundas, sparkling bathrooms. An immense number of informative maps, planning while looking at the state. Don't forget to sign the guest book!

Very clean bathrooms and greeted with friendly staff. They have maps of Arkansas and can answer any questions you have about the state. Aisles of brochures from campsites to dinner places and activities.

Hard to believe, but this welcome center even beats the Kentucky welcome center; no small feat. The pictures speak for themself. Very impressive, with tons of good information and a friendly staff. Highly recommend stopping here.

Just don't like the weather we ran into... as soon as we left the welcome center we had tornadoes 🌪 the first 2 hrs of being n Arkansas was server bad weather! But other then that was great trip wish I could have had time to seen more. Hit Lil Rock conway an greenbrier

Arkansas has some of the cleanest rest stops you’ll find! This rest area has covered picnic tables. Lots of parking. Friendly staff! Nice facility!

This a fabulous rest area. Restrooms were sparkling. Large visitor area for stretching and getting info. Glad we stopped here.

One of the best rest areas we’ve ever stopped at. Very clean, and it even had free coffee.

I am so glad we decided to pull off at this during our roadtrip. It was like a mini museum of the state, I normally don't take pics at rest stops but this deserved noting. The most important thing at the rest stops, was beyond the typical "clean" bathroom, it was very well maintained and that also is totally note worthy. If driving through again, I would make sure to stop and check out. If the super clean bathrooms and well maintained displays weren't reason enough for stopping, they also have a library of handouts to choose from, and yes you read correctly, a LIBRARY. I have traveled to many states and never come across aisles of selections of even just coupons to choose from (that were useful!) I got lost in an aisle when my friend thought I already exited the building towards the car. So well done to all the employees that do such a great job!

Thanks, Arkansas, for this rest area! Very clean. Open 24 hrs. We park big rig RV and truck with trailers. No for commercial vehicles. Ahead is another spot for those. It's like 10 miles from there going west.
They have many free booklets and magazines with tourist information.
Bathrooms are always clean and well maintained. 👌 😊

This was a poster reminding us of the terrible tragedy on the Mississippi river.

Had to pull in to wait for a tow truck, and went inside. Beautiful building and a friendly lady welcomed me. Nice addition to West Memphis.
