Ellen's at the Airport

Ellen’s at the Airport, located in Shoreham, Block Island, is one of the best breakfast spot in town. This small restaurant, conveniently situated in the airport, offers friendly service and a traditional breakfast menu with options like hash, eggs, and chicken and waffles. We had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this place.

Great breakfast! One of the best places to eat on the island. Love the atmosphere! Staff all very nice and attentive. There were 7 of us and we all loved our food!

So glad to see this place open again, was once famous for their breakfasts. We'll the new place does not let down, been here 3 times this week.
Breakfast was outstanding. Homemade corned beef hash with big chunks of brisket in it was unbelievable. The "trash can" burger was my wife's favorite. The secret sauce is the key.

Everything was delicious! Food came out quickly and it was all great. Prices were reasonable as well. It’s small though in winter without the patio so we had to wait a bit. I wonder if they could add more tables.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast! He had the Philly Cheese Omelet and I had the Chicken and Waffles. Not a crumb left on our plates !

It's so nice to have Ellen's at the airport. Great breakfast/lunch menu. Lunch starts at 11:30, breakfast till close. Try the steak and cheese!

Great food, great service, and a great view! I fly all the way from Hartford to eat here even if I'm not even visiting the island otherwise.

The is vast with a little bit of everything, & it all tastes great as well as being extremely vegan/vegetarian friendly. As a plus, the atmosphere is extremely charming w/ awesome staff and an unbeatable view of the airport! Overall it's nothing but appreciation for their hard work and dedication to servicing the community (even in the offseason!:) in both their delicious food and their shining example of the importance and positive impact of local businesses.

Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! The food is exceptional, and the service is impossible to beat. My husband and I ate here twice during our 2 day stay on the Island. We went for breakfast and had the Shrimp & Grits and Veggie Omlette- we both said it was the best breakfast we had had in a very, very long time, and we take our breakfast seriously! Everything was bursting with flavor and perfect portions. We also got takeout of the Chicken Sandwich and Philly Steak and Cheese to re-heat for dinner that night as dining options on the island are limited in the winter. Again, both were amazing. Day 2 we went for the Huevos Rancheros and Southern Pan-Fried Chicken. You actually can't go wrong here! Kristen is so friendly and personable and makes you feel so welcome. She is fabulous. I can't believe this place has only been open for a few months! An absolute MUST on your visit to BI !
