The fish that we have bought here have always been really well cared for. It's a great place to get pet supplise, as well. Then of course, Troy who owns the place, is a really good natured guy and very helpful.

Guy took his time to explain what knowledge he had to give me. Prices were fair and service was great. Sure it's just him and it takes a minute to get rung up. But check out the fish during the wait. Will be back and recommending this place going forward. Cheers.

I think the new owner is great! He has been very friendly and helpful each time I go. He is knowledgeable about what he sells. There is a great selection of both common and unique fish and the prices are very competitive. The fish I have purchased have been very healthy and were well taken care of. I brought my dog with me a few times and the owner will come say hi and give her a few treats! Great local place for pet supplies!

Good products and good service. I am always greeted when I walk in, and the store attendants have always been helpful when I'm trying to find something. They also have awesome policies--If you buy a fish that dies within a week, they will give you a new one. I miss seeing the fat store cat when I go in, I hope it didn't die :(

The owner is polite and knowledgeable, the shop has a good selection of fish especially for being in a small town setting. The fish are all in good healthy condition as well. Good selection of assorted foods for all kinds of fish.

I worked in the aquatics department of a pet store for a few years, and I have a 150 gallon discus tank. When coming to campus I was worried I would have to give up the hobby, but this place gives me comfort that I won't have to. For a smaller store, this place offers great variety and healthy fish. Saw some sick fish, just like you will see in any pet store, but the owner was giving them the proper treatments. Very nice guy, really knows his stuff. I bought some shrimp for a small tank in my dorm room. He gave me a gallon of cycled water because my tank was recently set up, and he threw in an extra aquatic plant. Would recommend this place to an experienced aquarist and the novice fishkeeper. If you're at all interested in fish, go check it out!

I like to support local businesses. He was honest and didn't try to make me buy more expensive products. Will definitely go back.

The owner is very educated and is great at her job! She won't sell you any sick fish, will answer any questions that you need and they have a great selection!

This is mostly a fish store but also has bait and live feed for lizards. Liz is awesome too. If she doesn't have what you want, she will either order it or te you where to find them. We're all pals here.

Owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Will pay the extra money for a local shop with healthy and ethically sourced fish. Support small businesses 🙂

Very nice, I have a pet snake and they have a wide selection of frozen mice. They also supplied me with almost all of the equipment when I got a snake; heat lamp, bulb, cage, etc...

Past owner Liz was one of the unsung treasures of Northfield. Store seems to be in fine hands now, happy to have it in Northfield.
