I haven't stepped foot in this place since it first opened. I fully regret that now. Not for the reasons you think! I'm now obsessed with the soft fun cookies they have. I got $21 worth of fun cute little desserts. I don't regret that purchase! The frosting on the cookies is absolutely to die for. No joke. It's a soft cookie, but not too soft. The frosting is a light buttery cream cheese flavored frosting. No weird aftertaste with the cookie! The frosting has no weird thickness either. I was a little scared by trying this big cookie. But I have no regrets about it. It may look like it would taste awful or even have a weird texture. But I promise it's one of the best cookies you'll try! I will be coming back!
Side note Erin took my order. She was fast, nice, sweet. She didn't know how to make change from a $10 for a tip. But it was a weird request. But they do deserve the tip!

This place has fantastic treats! We have stopped here several times while visiting Northfield and are never disappointed in what we've gotten. It's a cute shop, right on Main Street. There is seating inside for dine in, if you choose. They have cakes/cupcakes/brownies/cookies/coffees/etc...something for everyone. I adore the Salted Caramel cupcake but, often try other varieties. The service has always been fast and friendly and the establishment is clean and inviting. While we were there last time I noticed a sign advertising a mid-afternoon 'happy hour' deal for cupcakes. [Regular price is quite fair too!] This is a great little joint to grab something to satisfy your sweet tooth. We will definitely be back!

The chocolate cupcake with sprinkles was my favorite!! Great tasting chocolate cake and frosting!! Friendly staff!! Wish there were more dessert places open especially after dinner.

We recently used Cakewalk for the very first time to cater cupcakes for a birthday party. Teara is very friendly and communicated in a very timely matter and understood exactly what we wanted. The flavors were absolutely delicious and the decorations were spot on with what we wanted. We received lots of compliments on how great they were at the party. We’ll definitely be using Cakewalk for all of our needs in the future!

We had our daughter’s cake made for her 5th birthday with “water themed icing” and added our own Octonauts characters. The chocolate cake was light and delicious! The price was affordable and we appreciate the quick return.

Another day we enjoyed absolutely delicious treats!! The cheesecake is one of the best we have ever tried!

Fantastic cupcakes in a variety of flavors. I find these cupcakes to be more than pretty looking, but incredible tasting, and they remain refresh for days (if you can hold out that long). Comfortable environment with lots of seating too.

Their cupcakes are the best I’ve ever had! I’ve had carrot cake, O.M.G, pumpkin spice, a cookies and cream, and a few more. Each one was amazing! They also have gluten free deserts too! Cupcakes are $3.50 each and I believe, $4.00 for gf. The staff has always been nice and quick. The store is cute and has plenty of places to sit. The only thing that I don’t care for is their opening times. They close too early for us to go there after normal working hours. Other than this wish, I’d highly recommend this bakery! We’re always excited when we have time to go!

We ordered 15 dozen cupcakes and a small cutting cake for our wedding and have received nothing but compliments. Everything was delicious and everyone we interacted with was super easy to work with and very accommodating. Loved them before we ordered for our wedding and still love them afterwards!

The cake is AMAZING! I've been wanting to try this bakery out since we moved here, for my nephew's birthday they got an Oreo cake from here on 4/523 and it was perfectly made, and incredibly delicious! I am excited to go to them for future cake needs, the cake was not only tasteful but beautifully decorated. I would absolutely recommend them!

Teara and her team at Cakewalk were stellar to work with for our wedding cake! Truly the hardest part of the whole process was deciding which flavors to choose for our cake because they were all so good! Teara provided guidance in making decisions regarding how much would be needed to feed our guests, and how best to create the design we wanted for our three-tier cake. My husband and I were not at all upset to take home the leftover pieces at the end of the night!

Love the food here. It's all good! Some of the cupcakes are to die for...unique creations that I can't find anywhere else. Their cream cheese frosting and cheesecake frosting is SO GOOD. I sat in on a wedding cake consultation here and the whole process was calm and fun. No stress. All questions covered and answered.

We got 4 cupcakes and two frosted sugar cookies and they were FANTASTIC! My only complaint is that they don’t have a location where we live in St. Paul. These were the best cupcakes and cookies we have had in a long time! Unique flavors and you can tell the love they put into them!

Just talked to a lovely employee there who help me place a cupcake order for my daughter's birthday, for delivery to St Olaf! She was cheerful and very helpful and I was very grateful. Sad I won't get to eat the cupcakes!

If you're looking for a wedding cake and/or cupcakes, look no further than Cakewalk. They have a huge variety of flavors and all the ones my wife and I tried were delicious! But don't just take our word for it, several of our guests told us that they were the best cupcakes they had ever had. We highly recommend trying out Cakewalk for your wedding cake/cupcake needs.

The cupcake I had was the best chocolate cupcake I’ve ever had. I took a bite of it and stopped chewing to look at the cupcake, like how is this so good and moist and delicious! Only mistake I make was just getting one😊

When my Auntie lived in the area, we'd visit this place almost every time we stayed with her. Absolutely delicious treats, Cakewalk's desserts were always the highlight of the visit. Very fond memories here, nice atmosphere and even nicer foods.
