R Bar - Randolph

I'm from out of town... But I'd love to have this place as my neighborhood bar. Friendly folks and amazing food. We got the wings and pulled pork nachos. Highly recommend!

We rented the newly renovated upstairs for our daughter's Army "send off" party. The food was amazing! And when I ran out of food an hour early, the owner was able to bring out a few more pounds. (Tip: order more than you think you'll need, anticipate many of your guests going back for seconds, the food is so good!!)

Fun bar in a small town. Great food and staff. The pulled pork is amazing along with everything else. Had the breakfast for the first time this weekend and it was incredible. Will drive out of our way just to stop here.

Great spot to get good food. We were working on a project nearby and out of the two weeks we were in town, this was easily the best food we had.

Just tried out the new breakfast menu and it did not disappoint! The scrambler with house queso and the breakfast burrito were great. Awesome service as usual and highly recommended trying it out!

A tip from our server to swap out chicken strips for any of the smoked meats was a game changer—the manager’s dedication to the smoking process, a daily ritual, clearly pays off. I savored the smoked chicken sandwich; a humble offering turned extraordinary by its execution. The tater kegs, both Southwest chorizo and jalapeño popper, were bursts of flavor, exemplifying the innovation in their expanding menu.

The live entertainment provided the perfect backdrop to our dining experience, creating an ambiance that's both lively and comfortably familiar. And with a game room and patio on the horizon, The R Bar is poised to become an even more enticing hangout.

Despite the high notes, there was a minor misstep—my girlfriend’s nachos arrived later than expected and disappointingly cold. A deconstructed approach or offering chips on the side could have saved the dish and the moment. Nevertheless, this hiccup hasn’t dulled my enthusiasm for a return visit. While the nachos might not be on our next order, the draw of the house-smoked specialties will surely bring us back to The R Bar.

For those seeking a slice of local charm, great food, and a place where everyone feels like a regular, The R Bar is your spot. Just be ready for some tempting smoked delicacies that will challenge your go-to order!

A great “sorta unknown” small town spot! Good drinks, FANTASTIC food (the BBQ is surprisingly tasty), and a wonderful vibe with good staff and patrons. Will be back!

Hidden gem! Even during their remodel and road construction, they are Pisa great place to stop for a drink and the pizza was great! We are new to Randolph and can’t wait until the remodel is done! I am sure it will be amazing!

Amazing small town bar. Me and my family go at least once a week. The food is so delicious and the service is beyond amazing. Husband loves the tacos and chicken tenders, 7 year old loves the shrimp and I love the specials. There’s always something for everyone.

R Bar makes me feel at home! Great service, great food, especially the specialty Mac and Cheese! I’d like to buy a gallon of your barbecue sauce!

The brisket sandwich was good. They have a delicious rub on it, and the bbq sauce on the side was a great addition. The house cut fries add to the feel of a bbq style kitchen.

Traveled from S. Texas to Minnesota for business. A friend from work recommended The R Bar so I went and loved it. Atmosphere was awesome and everyone inside was over the top friendly. Had the Brisket Sandwich and coleslaw and both were off the charts. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. It is definitely on my "to do list" for every future visit to MN!

The bartender was super nice and make sure to check on us frequently. The drinks were good, and they had a good selection of beer (not just your normal macro brews - they had war pigs on tap too!) I guess this place is under new ownership and they have BBQ on their menu now. We didn't try the BBQ, but I did try the cheesecake and it was delicious. We will be back to try the food! (And, they're one of the few places in the area open on a Monday night!!)

Breakfast scrambler with queso is the bomb!!!! Great service, drinks and food!
