The security guard “LA” is totally amazing. He is extremely personable as well as knowledgeable about the products in the store. I felt secure and safe from the moment I entered the building. He is such a gentleman and made sure I had an amazing experience shopping. If he is going to be the security guard on duty, I’ll definitely come back again and again to shop with you. Thank you.

I went to Dick’s today in Wheaton, Md. It was a wonderful experience and brought some nice items. Everyone was so nice and the security guard LA was extremely helpful. He greeted me when I came into the store (wasn’t expecting that). I felt safe during my visit at the store.

I came to Dick’s in Wheaton on Christmas Eve, expecting it to be crowded. It was busy, but well staffed. Great customer service from Dani (who greeted and directed me to the correct aisle) and Kelly at checkout. Store was organized and well stocked.

Expensive, but we needed a military grade pepper spray, oh boy, so many choices.

I've shopped here for years and the products are always high quality and a great selection. I especially want to give a big shout-out to Sebastian in footwear. I needed something special under referral of a podiatrist. Sebastian was so knowledgeable, I was blown away. And he steered me to the perfect shoes for me. When my podiatrist saw them, he was very happy, as am I.

They have a great selection of shoes for all sports. High quality selection of fishing gear.

Darnell is an asset to this location. I am giving this location five stars specifically for the service I received on my visit. I was looking for some safety equipment for a new sport I am learning, and I would like Darnell's manager(s) to take note of this employee. I was provided with excellent service, and I think that should be recognized and rewarded.

Glancing over a few other reviews here, I see other positive mentions of other employees by name. If this is the level of service to be expected, I would recommend this location to any of my friends.

I will be shopping this location again, and when I do I hope to see Darnell there.

Outstanding amazing, that was a great experience. I went in there looking for something they didn't have. I left with everything I needed. The manager Lisa and my cashier Shane customer service was awesome. Definitely going back for clothing needs and some equipment.

I always love shopping here. Staff are always accommodating and friendly. Gives suggestions or better choices. Lots of honest staff and shoppers. I accidentally left one of my shopping bags on the floor and came back to the store approximately 4 hour later and i found my shopping bag exactly where I left it. Lots of good quality items to buy, too.

The customer service I received was exceptional. Milik was forthcoming and patient with us as we checked out. He and his colleague even brought me a cart as I stood hands full of stuff. Just great all around.

Customer service was next level. I bought a bike online for my daughter but the one I wanted was sold out. Saw it in the store, they exchanged it, tuned up the new bike and added a kick stand. So happy and will definitely recommend.

Barrett was very knowledgeable about the items I was looking for. His product comparison proved that he wasn't just trying to make a sale. He had a pleasant attitude which was much appreciated.

Today, the sales associate WILL went above and beyond to help me. After helping another customer, he walked over to me and asked if I needed help finding something. I replied yes. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for and the online website stating it was available in that store. The item was not on the shelf and he volunteered to search in the stock room for it. He came back within about 2 minutes to inform me there was a lot of items he must look through on 3 different shelves and it may take a little while. I thanked him for updating me and then after approximately 10 minutes, WILL came back to me with the item. I was so excited because that was the only location with the item listed in a 25 mile radius of my home. It was also an item required for my son’s swim class tomorrow. WILL went above and beyond to help me and I thanked him then and I’m thanking him now for the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE which he not only gave to me, but to the gentleman I seen him help prior to me.

Great selection. Good service, Decent competitive prices. I went to buy some hiking shoes and they shipped the ones I like to my house for free when they realized they did not have my size in the store. Very friendly staff. Give it a try. This is a good store. :)
