Very nice and knowledgeable people. Had them replace the strings on my guitar and give it a spa treatment on one afternoon. Picked it up same day. That alone is a great reason to choose this location. Highly recommend for instrument repair and lessons!

I just love Marsha and Don. My son started violin classes and they have rent to own programs! They took the time to explain things to us and make the experience special. The store is conveniently located to where we live and they have great business hours. Thank you!

Saw many mixed reviews on this place but decided to try it anyways. Wasn't disappointed I spent about an hour there chatting with the owners both were super helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't know much about what I needed nor what I was doing this being my first instrument and they were more than happy to take the time out to help me understand very nice people

I went looking for some strings. Went to all the big stores in Tampa. All said they didn't have them but none said they would be able to get them.
Don made a call and in a few days I had the strings I wanted.
I had done business with them before. So it wasn't the first time I had excellent service, and it won't be last.

I recommend this place to anyone in the music industry. I visited today for the very first time to get some new guitar strings and some other items and met the owners Don and Marsha. I was treated very well and the knowledge that these two individuals have is admirable. It is a Ma and Pa shop. This place has been around and owned by these two wonderful people for 32 years. They are extremely fair. Actually, I should say under pricing any competition anywhere. They are extremely fair and honest in their dealings. I was so blessed to meet these two wonderful people. I recommend and hope you will visit and help their little ma and pa establishment. They have everything you would need.

My daughter broke her phone, so I called to have it fixed. They verified the part was in stock. When I brought the phone in for repair, they were very nice. The phone was repaired flawlessly, for a fantastic price.

Mr. And Mrs. Jones the owners were wonderful! They are great conversationalist and have a ton of knowledge of all instruments. They when through rent to own vs buying outright and the process was simple. Walked out with everything we needed. Very kind and helpful.

I love this place! This is what a music store is supposed to be, business in the front, lessons in the back and dancing Santa in between. Mom and Pop family owned, quaint, useful and every bit as home cooked as one could want. Perfect fit in Lutz. If they don’t have what you need they will get it, and don’t think that they won’t remember you every single time you walk in the door. Lovely people, caring and helpful and considerate. If you are doing your music business here then you are completely missing out on one great experience. Save Amazon for another day, go hang out in the store, play instruments and visit your child side while you still can.

Went to happy tunes guitar today. Got some new stings and decided to have them clean and restring my electric guitar. Marsha did a phenomenal job! It looks brand new like the day I bought it off the shelf! Was so throughly impressed with her craftsmanship! I highly recommend this store! It exceeded all expectations. Not everyone gets to hold your guitar. But you happy tunes I trust!

They did a great set-up and spa treatment on my Gibson electric. It looks and plays like it should. Two of the nicest folks you would hope to meet. I will be going back to them again.

What a delightful experience dealing with Don & Marsha.Just a little background about myself. I have a 12 string guitar which I have not played in ages and thought I would start again. I came into the store and bought new strings for it. (Very Reasonable - About $16) I went home installed them and tried to tune it with my tuner with no success. I spoke with Martha on the phone and she said just bring it in. To make a long story short: I tuned it a whole octave out, she tuned it correctly ( about an hours worth of time),Don & Marsha shared with me all their restaurant experiences, and gave me an education on organic seeds. When I asked about the cage: Don't worry about it was the response. I highly recommend them for all your music needs. My summation would be integrity,fair, and hospitable.

I knew I was going to be traveling to Tampa last week so I packed my grandmother's old accordion. I had already taken it to several music shops here in Kansas City. Everyone said it was beyond repair. I stopped in at Happy Tunes as a last resort. Marsha took a look at it and suggested I leave it for her to work on while I was on vacation. I stopped back on the way home to find my instrument not only repaired, but cleaned and looking like new. The price was reasonable and quite manageable. Now I am back in Kansas City. My grandmother is delighted and relearning how to play the instrument that she loved in her youth. Can't wait for the next trip to Florida, I am gathering up long abandoned instruments and plan to return them to their owners cleaned and repairs. I am sure the owners will be delighted to return to the passion of years gone by.

I have been attending lessons here for almost 3 years and I have to say Don and Marsha make me feel like family. Add to that the fantastic instructor Will (guitar) and it keeps me coming back month after month. I highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this place if you have an instrument that needs to be fixed. They have been in business for a long time and know who to send their instruments too. They did an awesome job and it was fast! My 37 year old trumpet that I used in school is now my daughters in middle school. It needed to be soldered and put back together. When I got it back, it was soldered, all the dents were straightened, new pads, and cleaned. It works and looks great! 5 stars from me!! Don’t go anywhere else in North tampa.

small business owned by an adorable little elderly couple that make my day every time I come in- They're a tad hard of hearing but they've always got the best intentions, very knowledgeable and skilled in their expertise. Love them!

Guitars,strings,straps.cords and you don't need to drive from lutz/LOL to Tampa! it's not huge,but what you need is here or they will get it for you! I cant believe I've driven by this place without seeing it. Support your local businesses! Nice people too!
