They were so incredibly helpful through this process. No matter the reason or the age it's hard to know what's worth it and you can be assured they are very comparable price wise, they were more helpful, and even a little bit cheaper than the other options; who now also are all seemingly owned by corporate companies with answering machines.

KC Medical is 5 Stars in my book. From the time we walked in to rent a mobility scooter to the time we dropped it off a week later. Nothing but helpful and professional. We were half hour early when opening. Still came out and helped us before store opened. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Will definitely be renting from this store again. THANK YOU!

Henry was excellent. All the guys worked with us to help get us out of a BAD SITUATION. Ed and Russ were extremely helpful and sympathetic to our needs and, made it happen.
Henry came in to our home and was very professional and helpful. He had all our equipment set up and ready to go in less than 30 minutes.
I would highly recommend this organization to anyone.

If you need home medical supplies this is the place to go. We rented a hospital bed from here which I needed in a hurry. I was surprised by how fast I was able to get it. Set up was fast and easy. Prices were reasonable. Russ and Henry were professional, friendly, and expedient. Thanks also to Ed, and his staff for your help with all the things we needed. Very much appreciated.

I wrote a short review earlier this year but wanted to add more recent information. I have been in the store numerous times this month, shopping and asking advise for my elderly mother. Each employee has been generous with their time and knowledge. I have been impressed each time I go in. Ed, the owner, has been very patient and caring as he helps accommodate my mother. They hire knowledgeable health professionals who do not work on commission, so are not pushy, just helpful. They ask the right questions to figure out what will work best. I highly recommend doing business with Kansas City Home Medical Supply.

I am very satisfied with the service we received from Ed and the employees at the Barry Road store. My 4'11” step-mother was experiencing pain using her Rollator. Ed immediately identified the problem. The Rollator she had was made for a person 6' tall. Ed custom fitted a new Rollator for her. My step-mother always walked bent over with the old Rollator. Now she walks upright and is pain free. We are elated with the service we received. She had used the old Rollator for over a decade, and not once did a physical therapist tell us the problem was she had the wrong size Rollator. It is so nice to have a store that custom fits the equipment to the patient.

On another note, we were so happy with the new Rollator, we purchased a new lift chair for my step-mother the same week. Again Ed custom fit the chair to her 4'11” stature. She is elated with the chair. She loves the TV and Sleep settings. The chair can be adjusted to any position. Thank you again for the great customer service!

I went needing supplies semi-emergently as the DME who was to deliver supplies to my sister-in-law simply failed to show up. Not knowing what to do I stopped here. The staff was quite helpful in pointing out what I needed and getting everything required quickly. Thank you so much!

Terry is the most helpful, pleasant help for medical supplies that my husband and I encountered. It is our “go to” place for needed medical supplies. It is a pleasure to walk in to the store.
