David is a FANTASTIC instructor with young kids! My daughter is 3 and loves Lion King, so he quickly built a rapport with her by asking her Lion King questions before smoothly transitioning into telling her some tips about skiing. She had so much fun and learned a ton in just 1 lesson. 10/10

There are other instructors at Mini Mountain who are great for older kids, adults, etc but if you have a very young kid who needs some patience and confidence-boosting, David's THE go-to instructor.

This place is great! I was a complete scaredy cat about mountains and skiing but my friends are really into it. I wanted a place to practice and learn skills without the fear of falling off a mountain. Lol. This place was great for me. It really helped me address my fears and the instructors were great. I really loved working with David and I got to work with Ryan once which was also a great experience. I also got the chance to go to bunny slopes and eventually green runs in between lessons which was great to make the lessons more meaningful and focused. I took 6 lessons in total.

So, I'll start by saying the online reservation process was not very intuitive but Kevin and John offered my kiddos a free lesson and additional time when someone didn't show up. That is why this place gets 5 stars, for treating me and my family like we mattered. It was also a great lesson with great teachers.

This is the second season my kids are taking lessons here, and I’ve never found a more family friendly establishment. The instructors care about the kids’ progress and teach while still being mindful not to over push. I think we’ve had every instructor and they are all great! Awesome place.. awesome people.10/10

Our 5 and 6-year-old boys had their first ski camp experience at Mini Mountain and it was wonderful! They asked to come back for more every single day. We loved the friendly instructors and the quality of instruction, and we look forward to taking lessons here soon!

Indoor ski lessons here helped our daughter to overcome years of fear of skiing and ski lessons. She had multiple bad experiences at the mountain, but the one on one lessons, comfort of not being cold, and feedback from instructors for three months prior to our season had her doing green runs and chair lifts independently on the mountain! Thank you all!

We loved all the instructors! They were really awesome when our 4 yr old started lessons. He was very nervous and apprehensive and they rolled with it and made him comfortable. The following year he made huge progress with their lessons and has easily transferred his skills to the mt. and now loves skiing and is ripping it up on the hill! Thank you!

My son had a really great time with his first ski lesson. Brad was incredibly patient, friendly and overall an amazing trainer. Highly recommended for anyone (esp kids) looking to get an early start to the season and make the most of actual powder time on the slopes.

All three of my kids (now ages 15, 12 and 9) got their "ski legs" starting at Mini Mountain. It was a great place for them learn the basics in a no-drama, comfortable environment. No painful trek from the car to the ticket booth to the lift, no battling through multiple layers of stifling clothes, no tears. They gained confidence on the carpet at Mini Mountain, and after just a few lessons were ready and excited to take on the white stuff! I highly recommend.

We have rented ski's a couple of times this season. From our initial phone call full of questions, to the time spent getting the ski's we needed, Mini Mountain employees were very friendly, responsive and prompt. This place has a small town feel which I liked. All the times we were there, there were other customers and activity going on. The wait time was appropriate and it was nice to be able to observe other customer's also seemed to be having a very positive experience here. The kids taking lessons seemed to be having a blast!

I had my two girls (4yo & 6yo) learning how to ski indoor with Mini Mountain for two years. I always choose to do the lessons right before we go on snow with the kids. This year I started my boy 2.8 years old indoor skiing with instructor Kevin and it was a nice experience. He definitely knows how to handle young ones (who cry). My boy was able to ski with some confidence after 5 lessons. Each one of my kids feel pretty comfortable after 8-10 lessons. To make the best out of each lesson, try to arrive at least 10min early and if possible choose the same instructor to teach your child. Weekday lessons are better than weekends! I will bring back my kids for snowboarding lessons in the future.

What a great way to learn how to ski. Both our kids took the lessons here around age 6. Then first day on the snow, in both cases, they were skiing *well* by the third run. They thoroughly enjoyed that first day and continue to enjoy skiing years later.

We still do season rentals here for the (still growing) kids. The staff is friendly and laid-back. In a skiing world that seems so heavy on marketing hype, Mini Mountain is a labor of love and a neighborhood resource.

The instructors are very helpful and work really well with kids of all ages. The facility is simple but efficient. 20-minute time slots are perfect for getting a bit closer to a great skiing or snow-boarding experience on a real mountain. Highly recommend.

A great way for all ages to learn to ski. The staff will help you schedule your lessons and are always available to answer questions. The staff is also super friendly, my girls (ages 4 and 5) love every instructor they get.

My daughter (10 yr old) wanted to learn how to ski so we took her to Mini Mountain for a few times before going to the real one. She enjoyed all the indoor lessons there and enabled her to get comfortable with the equipment before going to the mountain. When she went to Snoqualmie Pass, she adapted very quickly and was able to go to the green lift after a half-day lesson.

I would recommend this place to everyone no matter how old you are or weather you need to freshen up your skills or just learn from beginning. Brad London was my daughter Instractor, he is amezing guy and the best instructor ever !Brad took a lot of pressure from us and showed my daughter all the tricks and things to know so you can enjoy skiining. In less than 3 times I could see my daughter already making turns and zippining. I shared lessons with my daughter I love that option so I can feel confident about my skills too. My daughter is 7 years old we were able to go on very steep hills and she loved it. She was so inspired with skiining that made great story that we shared with her class ! The owner of this place is amezing guy, he keeps an eye on everything, he is very professional ,making sure all costumers are served yet atmosphere is amezing. You hear lot of giggles from kids while they try to follow directions. Way to go Mini Mountains!

It is a good day to be a parent when you hear your daughter say
"This is the best day of my life.....as a 7 year old."
We'll take it.
Another great day on the slopes ...thanks to the fabulous instructors at Mini Mountain! Learning indoors not only gave both our kids focused skill-based lessons, but also built the priceless confidence that can only come from patient and fun folks who brought a variety of personality and strategies to prepare our kiddos for the snow. It was also convienent to be watching and cheering them on sitting in a warm... dry ... shop with my latte in hand. Two thumbs up for value and best bang for my buck in building a life time of family adventures and memories! Thanks Mini Mountain!

Mini mountain is really good at teaching skiing to all age groups. My kids loved the indoor training and were very comfortable on snow the first time.

They have great instructors and low teacher-to-kid ratio.
