La Vendetta - Italian & Romanian Restaurant

We had an amazing experience at this place. The restaurant looks classy and very clean. Romanian food was delicious, eggplant salad and papanași is a must try. The service was top-notch. Our server was very nice and attentive to details! Keep up the good work!👍

Me and my boyfriend visited this restaurant last night and fell in love with it! Our server Michael was beyond amazing and treated us with care, he even showed me a new word in Romanian “noroc” . The food was divine and fresh and loved how it didnt take forever to make. I ordered the fettuccine pesto pasta with shrimp and my boyfriend had the marsala chicken with a side of pasta and it was amazing! The atmosphere is really like if you were in Italy and it blew us away. Id recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Italian food and a great place to hangout and have drinks. Thank you guys we will be back!

The best Campari spritz in south Florida. I left my credit card here once and they held it for me professionally. Great atmosphere inside and out. A great piece of downtown Hollywoods emerging dining scene!

Settled on this restaurant by a happy accident as the Italian restaurant we were originally heading to was closed for lunch on
Mondays. Parking out front and was able to use parking app to pay. For 2 hours about 3.50 cents. The restaurant was not busy a little after lunch and our party was the only one in the place at one point. It was a beautiful space with tables and booths indoor and out. Due th to midday heat we opted for in. The place offers a variety of Italian and Romanian dishes.
Price is a bit high but you pay for the location
Is nice restaurant for a date night or evening out.

Nice cozy ambitious inside with the dim lighting. The calamari was lightly breaded so how i prefer, and the salmon carpaccio was delicious by far my favorite.

My boyfriend and I were in town for our anniversary and I was showing him downtown Hollywood (I grew up in town). This place is newer, and as much as I am uncomfortable with some of the changes to the area, La Vendetta is a welcome addition. The staff were courteous and attentive, and everything we tasted was out of this world. The environment speaks for itself, a great backdrop for photographs. One of the best "romantic" restaurants I've been to. I had the Malbec, the truffle pasta, and the burrata. Chefs kiss, all the way around.

Excellent Italian/Romanian restaurant!! Please try the secret Romanian menu, you won't be disappointed .

The vibes were great, food was incredible, customer service was great, I loved it all!

The food is really good here, and the service is en pointe. With all of the dining spots along Hollywood Boulevard, this is one of the few that offers a good selection of both meat dishes and vegetarian. I took an out-of-town friend here and we both had enjoyable meals. They will adapt the menu choices for you, too, when they are able, and made my friend a glass of fresh-squeezed lemonade with no sugar. It's not cheap but it's not expensive either...a good date night restaurant.

This place is special! First time I eat Romanian food!! It was delicious! Chicken and mushrooms with polenta!! Really different and tasty! Service was attentive and kind! Food came out fairly quick. Downtown Hollywood has been given a beautiful lift! So the entire place is nice! They had a glass of wine free when buying an entree! Really good! Thank you!

Was there Saturday night for dinner. Sat outside. The service was outstanding, the wait staff and manager could not have been nicer. We opted for the Romanian menu. The manager came over and explained the items and made suggestions. Started off with the pickled veggies and roasted peppers. Very good. I had the minced pork and cabbage, buddies had the lamb and the goulash. All three were amazing and the portions were huge. Dessert was a donut like cake with cream and cherry sauce. I am not a dessert guy, but could not stop eating it.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Seafood salad was beautifully accented with mussels, clams, calamari, shrimps was absolutely delicious. I started with the Blackened cajun shrimp, fresh bread with olive oil with black olives and garlic.
I wasn't disappointed with my order, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and very reasonable for fresh seafood. Inside dining with live music or sidewalk tables line the front of the restaurant. I will be back!!

Went here for a lunch. Our server was Alina, nice young lady, very attentive. I had spinach ravioli with a delicious sauce, my husband ordered fried calamari. We really enjoyed the food. Definitely going to come back

First time having dinner here, it was AMAZING!! I ordered the lasagna and my husband ordered the NY Strip and both plates were spectacular! The service was above and beyond from EVERYONE! We even got to meet the owner of the building, who was extremely friendly. Safe to say, we will be eating here again, most likely soon since I am craving their food! Oh and they have a special Russian menu! This place is awesome!

I was there with my family 2 weeks ago and the service for the waitress was amazing! I recommend if you want to be here take a seat outside doesn’t matter the weather you will enjoy more!(the inside it’s beautiful tho) the food is delicious and is perfect to eat after a full day at the beach ❤ The only thing what I have to say it’s about the plates (literally) they are toooo heavy for the workers to handle them! Please try to keep everything more easy for them, in the end they are working a full shift of 8 hours or more!

Very impressed with the variety of seeming authentic Romanian dishes. I know them all and they sound fantastic. The prices seem very reasonable too. I am sorry I did not find out about it until after I already had lunch. Next time in town I’ll make a point to have lunch or dinner there. The restaurant looked also very cosy, clean and inviting. Definitely an invitation to a memorable gastronomic experience.

Best meatballs ever. Appetizers were all excellent had calamari, fried mozzarella and meatballs everything delicious so far! Waiting on my main course spaghetti and meatballs with sauteed mushrooms will come back next time in town!
