Food is good and they'll cook what you want if it's available, short wait. Friendly and the food bar is always kept clean. Getting expensive. Recommend.

We came for Thanksgiving lunch. The Turkey was so amazing and juicy. It was just as good as my moms home cooking. I had the green bean casserole and stuffing as well. I couldn’t be with my mom this Thanksgiving. Eating here was just the comfort food I needed. Thanks!

The food is always fresh and very tasty.
I enjoy the meatloaf, cabbage, and potatoes; the meal comes with a large drink, and cookie (unless they run out) for around $11.
They also have other made-to-order items on their menu; pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc.
The employees have always been kind when I go in.

This place has always been good every time I have went and great prices also.

We stopped in for a carwash and decided to have lunch while we were there. Although the carwash was a disappointment, we weren't disappointed in the food. Every single thing we got was delicious. We expected gas station food. But, what we got was better than some restaurants we've been to. Great job!

Stopped into pick up a power cable for an iPhone, which they had several to choose from at a decent price. Also my nephew and i purchased breakfast. The food was wonderful, extremely inexpensive, tasted fantastic and served by wonderfully nice staff members. Definately recommend this location to eat and purchase quick stop items for snakes on the road.

I absolutely love the meatloaf at this location! If you are looking for awesome breakfast and a lunch or even dinner that will leave you stuffed for hours on end that won't make you sick, give this southern chef a try! I have been eating here for lunch and the occasional breakfast since they opened and they have been excellent EVERY TIME and that's really hard to say about a restaurant in our day in age! Give them a try and I promise you will not regret it and if you have an issue they will fix it although I never have had an issue with them! The prices are reasonable too as it cost the same as eating at any other restaurants but the food is amazing here at southern chef! Just give them a try yourself and you will see for yourself how great they truly are!

I usually go at night, after midnight, when I get off from Hytrol. My wife and I find the crew in there very friendly. They are very nice guys and just wanted to leave a review in hopes their management might see. Not everyone always has a smile on their face at work and that is a lot of times due to the stresses of life and work, but they always seem to be in a good mood and smiling and they can cook too! We always like their food! Wish they would get some more okra though! Lol!

Food, service & prices all get triple Gold Star

I have very seldomly had issues with any of my food and if I did they were always willing to immediately fix it without complaint. I stop here at least 2 times a week.

Hb steaks..mash potatoes, gravy soooo good.. wife got chicken fried steaks, fries, mashed potatoes..also soon good. Can't top that taste. Delish!

I recommend you go try them out yourself I bet you go back.they are nice and the food is cooked after you order so it is so good And the people are so polite.

I love this place as they have good service and I must say they serve fresh cuisines😋
