I had a art therapy session with miss Mamie J
She started with a moment of silence, she lead us into prayer and the holy spirit took over.

We both ended up crying and then she lead me into the painting session.

The atmosphere is a curated and cultivated space of peace, true love and light! While I would exhale, each stroke in painting I was stepping into a healing I had left behind and lost at a young age.

I would highly recommend this studio, the items and products and Mamies art therapy to anyone who is looking for a truth awakening, you will experience a kiss from the creator, YHWY, Jehova, Elohim.

I have purchased several items from the owners. The woodwork from Carl Atkins is PHENOMENAL!!! I ABSOLUTELY love Mamie Atkins art. I gave her a description of what I wanted and she created beyond what I could imagine. Being a connoisseur of body butters, I have not found one that compares to the one purchased here. The consistency and smell is AMAZING!!! The owners also have SUPERB customer service, which is always a plus!!!

Mamie Jay is a gifted artist. Ever since I saw her work at an artisan market, I can’t stop myself from buying her jewelry. I love adorning myself with eccentric items, and Eccentric Studio One is the place to get them! Her husband Carl is also a talented woodworker, and I’m blessed to have one of his pieces as well. In addition to her jewelry endeavors, Mamie Jay also hosted me and my friend to a “Painting with a Purpose” session. We had the opportunity to tap into Source and express our soul artistically on the canvas. It was an enriching experience.

Eccentric Studio One is truly a place of healing and love. Mamie Jay is a shining light in this world and imbues the gallery with kindness and welcoming charm.

Her "Painting with a Purpose" classes are completely brilliant... the guided process she has developed will inspire the creativity and soulful expression in anyone who participates!! It is the best and most meaningful group painting class I have ever experienced!

The intention of this space is to inspire, uplift and heal, and it is clearly an environment that fosters connection and unity. It makes my heart happy to join in this purpose.

I could not have asked for a more personable experience at Eccentric Studio One. Mamie & Carl are the warmest, most welcoming individuals!! I am so grateful I was able to come across their amazing artwork & wood pieces. Mamie’s art spoke to me & I cannot wait to be able to hang my three pieces in my new home. Eccentric Studio One is an amazing place! The level of love, care, and professionalism is seen and felt. I have two paintings from the artist, Mamie and I love them! My husband has a bench made by Carl and it's awesome! Mamie really pulls from her African roots in her paintings. Her artwork is beautiful, creative, and meaningful. Carl's craftsmanship is custom made and you will be pleased.

Zen is the word that comes to mind. Just the most beautiful peaceful atmosphere that envelops you. The greatest hug of warmth and tranquility.🤗 The art, the jewelry, the "Shae" butter, candles creams and oils, just the aroma and essence of love, welcoming each spirit one at a time, individually attending to each person as they enter, one at a time was my observation at Eccentric Studio One! My sister and I had a blast doing our spiritually guided paintings. Mamie was very accommodating, kind, and helpful! She allowed our own life experiences to help guide our artwork. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely be returning!
