In 2001 my husband and I stopped in Savannah and happened upon what became one of my favorite shops of all time - full of all sorts of drawers and shelves filled with all sorts of maps and prints. I have since visited Savannah a number of times and found my way to this gem again and again, and now, in 2024 I was able to visit their NEW location with my sister and her sons. The person working was EXTREMELY welcoming (even with the three boys wandering around) and they told us the story of reviving V & J after moving into this new location but still retaining all the charming drawers and shelves. It feels as if you are on an adventure just looking for the print, or map that catches your eye.

Go here. Talk to the shopkeeper. Find your own treasure. Worth every lovely minute.

The door was locked when we got there and we had to knock, but just knock because it’s worth it! I love antique maps so this was a perfect store for me. They had so much to look through. Postcards, maps, prints etc. I was able to find my state in each section to narrow down my search. It was a really cool, charming place.

Our tour guide Carol told us about this place, the bestest hidden gem ever!! We could spend hours here, scouring over the endless old maps, pictures, music sheets, everything you can think of. Even the music was wonderful, thank you!!

What an interesting place to pop into! So much history in 1 place all collected by 1 man! The staff member was extremely knowledgeable about the company, collector, and the pieces in the shop! My husband and I really enjoyed stopping in!

What a cool store! I could have spent hours going through all the cool prints. My husband and I are from Baton Rouge and I found an over 100 year old print of Baton Rouge. Can't wait to get it framed. Such a cool find!

Very unique antique map shop! I don't know about you but I could spend hours in here just looking through all the maps. They have a large inventory of various maps and drawings that are organized pretty well. The owner is very friendly and helpful. If you are into maps, this is the place for you.

Very cozy antique store with local, state, regional, national, and even international maps that are over 100 years old. I came away very satisfied with a map of Virginia from the 1830s. Definitely a must stop during any visit to Savannah for other cartography enthusiasts!

An amazing store that takes you back in time - old maps, books, ads from varying time periods. The owners were lovely with a very cute king Charles cavalier who snores while you browse. Don't miss the lovely backyard!

I should say the best shop in town. Fantastic collection of maps (this is the specialty-literally from everywhere), postcards, and lithographies. You can take an hour for every subject: from animals, flora, universities, wars and battles, architecture, food, trades…infinite! So much respect for the owner and for the hard work of a lifetime I suppose. Very reasonable prices so that you can get yourself a treat. Try to search for anything you’ll like! You’ll enjoy every minute!

Fantastic history, vintage articles, maps, sketches dating back to 1500's . Pick your subject and you will find it here. Darian has thorough knowledge and details. Prints on papyrus. Fascinating. Worth a stop.

Stumbled across this place while exploring Savannah. It is incredible, we spent a good 45 minutes in there but could've stayed for much longer. There are maps from all over the world during different time periods, along with prints and maps from many wars. There are also very interesting prints of trains, old fashion, automobiles, and planes. A very kind couple owns it and are enjoyable to talk with.
