Love this place. Great staff/owners, great atmosphere, great books. Warm and welcoming. Cozy environment. The opposite of corporate. The selection is broad but they seem to specialize in literature, history and social sciences (local/Georgia/Southern, African American, LatAm, African, Indigenous, etc). Signed books by Chinua Achebe and Wole Soyinka were two remarkable highlights. And there are deals. The prices are better than you'd find online or in any big-box retailer.

The best local bookstore I’ve ever been to! Andrew was extremely kind and welcoming. Great selection and the prices were amazing. I got 7 books for $31. The store was also very clean & organized with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in.

Only ever got to visit once but the collection of books and variety were amazing. I study Latin American and Caribbean Studies and often bookstores don't have too much specifically in that area, so it was awesome to see they had so many options. Also the shop owners and workers were great to speak with. Would love to visit again someday ❣

It's been a while since I have been able to visit because of the limited hours, but I liked it when I went. It's nice to have a bookstore in walking distance.

Great little bookstore in downtown Stone Mountain. They have a pretty sizable stock to be as compact as they are. Most of the selection is centered around historical/political/sociological interests.

Community Books is such a great addition to Stone Mountain Village. Their selection of books is excellent - in addition to resources I was hoping to buy, I found so many things I wasn't looking for (reasonably priced). Staff are great and knowledgeable. Community Books stays true to it's admirable mission. I'll definitely be back!

A lovely little book store in historic Stone Mountain Village. They have a great curated selection of books that are sooooo incredibly cheap! The owners are super friendly and approachable and provide a lovely warm atmosphere. It is so nice to see independent bookstores popping up today.

I really loved visiting this small bookstore with a diverse selection of titles. If you’re interested in finding community, learning about history, or diving into theory, I think you’ll enjoy this shop a lot. They even had some free stickers and pamphlets by the counter. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and super kind!

This is an awesome new and used bookstore in the heart of Stone Mountain Village. Their book selection is incredible and always changing. I’m so glad the neighborhood has a bookstore now where people can meet up, hang out, and browse the collection together. Plus the folks that work here are so kind and helpful.

The generosity, warmth, and earnestness of the shop attendants is over shadowed by their helpfulness and knowledge.

If you’re tired of mass-propaganda bookshops, this humble store is the antidote, offering selections from off the beaten track. Highly recommend!

A great addition to the newly flowering community of Stone Mountain. Their selection houses books from diverse viewpoints, encouraging self-study and critical thinking. Stop by and check it out if you get the chance.

Wonderful selection. Great place to expand your understanding of the human experience. Got 10 or so books including a bunch of gardening and nature books. We will be back!

Arguably the best book store in metro Atlanta. Not only are there rare, hard to find books on politics & more, but the owners are lovely. This is more than a book store--it's a community hub.

A welcome addition to a town whose history was riddled with hate. This new bookstore was built on education, love, acceptance, and is changing the narrative of Stone Mountain's bright future. Bravo, friends.

Awesome to have cool folks and a cool bookstore in Stone Mountain (good collections for fiction, politics, history, etc.)! Visited this weekend; can't wait to go back and buy another stack of books.
