I love all of nature and this area is very nice, safe and clean. The river could use what we Eastern Band of Appalachian Cherokee Natives call tending to on playing in the river and building little dams, children's swimming circles, and just basically overall erosion control on a more primitive and natural order of things that the Creator Placed us here to do as Stewarts of the land.
Nature is best!!

An amazing place to camp. Easy to get to from Seattle, very well maintained camp sites. 4WD drive or not, camp site is easy to get to as there is a paved road all the way to it. Would be an ideal spot to try out car camping if someone wasn't sure about it.

Firepits are new, there are bear boxes and each campground so you can store food safely from animals, bathrooms were surprisingly very clean for camp bathrooms, and there is potable water on site. Will go back next year!

Also, easy river access and tons of great hikes in the area!!

Beautiful area, so lush and green. Not a bad campsite to be had and more privacy than most. As someone else posted no water available currently so make sure to bring extra + to put out your fire. Hiking galore. 2 trails right next to site #11 (CCC and middle fork) are both well worth it. Oxbow trail on the way out made for a beautiful shorter hike.

Beautiful campground. Easy access from I90. Potable water, privy very well maintained. It called my attention that not all trash bins were bear-proof. Waste management passed by without stopping at the one close to us... The rangers told us that we would likely to see a bear with the cub around...Don't understand then why the trash is at bear's reach...

Excellent, great space with nice trails and views. Warnings: Bears, No cellphone reception and a wide range of mosquitoes to annoy you.

Nice and clean. Lots of hikes around and a river to relax at. We had a very peaceful experience and got to see some cool wild life. And lot and lots of tiny frogs/toads.

Very comparable to my favorite campground. This place is amazing. Awesome views around every turn. Plenty of trail heads for the hiker in everyone. Only down side is the lack of shower facilities near by.

This is a lovely little campground. The water pump was broken at the time. It might be fixed by now but being loud of water just in case. It's not too far to town so supplies are in easy reach. Spots 1-12ish on the west side of the campground are more forested, so I would consider them the nicer ones.

My experience at the campground was great Campground host was the best. He also dealt with the Bears to the best of anyone's ability who's not allowed to carry a gun. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever been in can't wait till next year to see the host again don't know what problems people have with some people but you can't please everyone

Awesome campsite. Super beautiful, sites are large with a good amount of distance and trees between each neighbor, and there are more trailheads in walking distance than you can count on two hands.

This is a lovely campground situated within a second-growth forest. The campground is equipped with potable water, platformed tent sites, and clean toilets. For such a large campground, it's amazing how its ambiance is so peaceful and quiet. The campground is situated near some amazing hikes and scenic views. Highly recommended.

While visiting Seattle we came to this area, a reasonable quick drive from the city. We parked and hiked all along this section of Middle Fork, and we had such a blast! The woods are thick and beautiful, mossy with winding trails stretching out in all directions. The river is a mix of rapids and smooth eddies, and my fisherman son was in heaven. My other son comes here frequently to camp. We found enough to do to keep us busy the entire day. Definitely one of my favorite stops while I was in Seattle.

I didn't really go here , because I just wanted to keep going .
Looks like a place to go camp if that is your type of camp or keep going up and and camp like Grizzly Adams would have. If you don't know who he was doesn't matter and he had a cabin .
There are spots up on the river that are nice for tents .
The campground I here has a unruly bear so. Keep your food put away .
I don't know why a bear won't follow the rules maybe it should try camping somewhere else .

Middle Fork was the first stop in our PNW trip and it was so amazing we never left!
$14 for a single campsite and several multiple joined campsites.
Several bathrooms throughout. All maintained well.
Great hikes.
No camper trailers, tent camping only.
The area is fantastic, North Bend is incredible.
We are also Twin Peaks fans so a quick scenic stop to Snoqualmie falls and Twedes cafe was epic!

Favorite spot for dispersed camping since '92. Lot more crowded these days but the area is absolutely beautiful and large enough to feel like you're a thousand miles from anywhere.
