Arête Coffee Bar

Friendly service and a wide selection of munchies, coffee/tea drinks, beer/wine, hippie drinks, breakfast and lunch options. I'm here right now and they are jamming some Wham!, so the tunes are pretty sweet.

Lots of outdoorsy books, trail maps and gear. It's adjacent to a ski shop which is pretty cool, unless you have no sense of wonder and like to complain about everything.

There is not a lot of seating, but it's a cool little cafe with a lot to offer.

Ski shop with a coffee place inside. The vibes were on point, the coffee was amazing and also a nice spot to chill.

Great vibe at this combo winter sports shop/coffee bar. The atmosphere was what I enjoyed the most. Relaxed, casual, quiet. A family with two kids came in and the kids had an area to play in. The coffee selection is good (oat milk is available). The pastries are from local bakeries.

I wouldve never thought this place would be my next fav place to grab a matcha latte. Very friendly workers and great cosy environment to chill. The matcha surprised me at how good the quality of the matcha was ! Wish I lived nearer !

Arete is a north bend gem and we go here at least once a week. The atmosphere is great, people are kind, and food good…I just wish it had better / more consistent coffee. I would love to see them carry some other options like cafe vita, herkimer, olympia coffee, etc. That being said they make a great matcha latte and I love their alpine glow granola and will continue to come back!

Great coffee in a creative environment. Great place to meet for coffee, plan a Backcountry trip, or just hang out while you wait for your skis to be waxed. Food is also delicious.

Super cool shop connected to a ski shop, just around the corner from main street. Highly recommend a visit! They also support locals artists and brands. Very friendly staff always with good energy.

North bend couldn’t be the home for such a cozy place like Arête! The staff is always so nice and the quality of the coffee is what brings me back. Thank you for such new lovely place in our town!

Fantastic menu, friendly staff, nice location relative to Main Street. These folks put a nice spin on the usual sandwich and pastry menu, and it’s well done. Best bets: avocado toast, granola, and BLAT.

Cool little coffee place attached to a ski shop. Love the atmosphere and coffee selection. They have just about every milk alternative, including hemp milk, and outdoor seating. Worth the stop.

We love Arete! We stumbled upon this coffee shop when buying some ski equipment last winter. It’s such a cozy, fun environment! The coffee is great and they have some yummy treats too.

One of the best chill coffee places in North Bend. It has a nice community feel with good food and nice people.

Every time I'm here I meet a new dog, skier/climber ,and read about a new place I want to go explore; couldn't ask for a better vib. Oh and their coffe and food is good to.

My family is visiting from out of state and was recommended Arête for some of their vegan options. A mistake was made on my to go order *(I didn't mind 😊 it happens) and it was fixed, no problem. The two gals that helped me were very nice and friendly!
It was a quiet morning, I loved the feel of the shop, very cozy and filled with outdoors merch *(like hiking books for the state!) A sweet spot, for sure!

If I’m in North Bend, I HAVE to stop at Arête. The coffee is delicious, every food item I have had is great, and the atmosphere is so relaxing! Definitely worth the stop.

Incredible espresso drinks in a very mountaineering-friendly location. It's connected to a store as well.
