Staff was incredibly nice and very punctual! The food was amazing! I will absolutely be returning. This is going to be one of my regular spots! Love the nostalgia and the homey feeling. The food is also reasonably priced and decent portions.

Visit this warm and cozy place and be welcomed as a member of the family! Cat was our fun, energetic server who quickly got us everything we needed and kept up the lively banter with us and Phil, one of the 2nd generation co-owners. The burgers were AMAZING and you must try the onion rings and the spinach balls with a side of cheese! I will return whenever I'm in the area. Thank you Cat and Phil for making our Friday dinner delicious and memorable!!! ❤❤❤

The burgers are ofcourse fantastic...lots of choices should fit any burger lovers tastes..the traditional menu echoes back to the days of old allentown with creamed cabbage and rhubarb crumble...prices are good and service is also good. The demographic for this place skews older because of the aforementioned menu items and just the sheer length of time this place has been in business...highly recommend 👌

Stop by here for lunch occasionally when it's not too busy as parking my work truck is challenging.
Most of the time though it's busy during lunch. This is one of the most friendly, welcoming establishment in the area.

Seafood bisque is definitely one of the best I've had. Lots of seafood packed in it.
Fish and chips were great, fresh cut fries and fish battered and fried perfectly, not greasy either.
Awesome burgers, cooked to liking and juicy.
Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood.

You miggt be able to get higher quality food elsewhere, but the big portions at Werts Cafe, and the low prices in a cozy, homey atmosphere cant be beat! This was my first time there, had the Blue Cheese and Bacon burger, and i will happily go back!

Wert's understands great food and amazing service. I have never once had a bad meal or bad service. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Wow. What a Place. First time here. You literally feel like you're family when you're here. The service and the atmosphere are one of a kind. Family photos line the walls with the family itself running the floor. Our server was amazing and she was the daughter of the original owners and her brother was right there too. She told us a little bit of the history and steered us in tbe right direction on the menu...
We had the werts burger, mushroom and onion stuffed burger with Velveeta cheese...Never had that before!?!?! Amazing! We also tried the onion rings which were more like a haystack of onion straws...they were also delicious, but I'd wished they had a smaller size, as the one size was too big, and at $8.25, kinda pricey. That's an item you dont really wanna reheat at home I think, so it goes to waste which I don't like, but oh well... Anyway, that doesn't take away from flavor or my outstanding opinion of this place. We had dessert as well which was fantastic. They have a house baker that makes all the fresh dessert and pies and such...amazing! Will definitely be back to this little gem.

When I was home visiting my family from New Jersey, I needed to be sure I checked out werts with Cafe, and it's been many years since I've enjoyed one of their cheeseburgers. There's something about the cheese and the way the burgers made but you need at least try this place out once. Is my first visit in about 7 years and it was nice to see Kathy and Tina still working, definitely check it out yummy.

Burger was delicious! good food and atmosphere. all staff was very nice. good options for kids too! not pictured is werts famous fries that was loaded with crab meat, we left no time for pictures and dug right into that!

I live in CT, anytime I'm in the area or just passing through PA, I have to eat here. Their burgers are amazing especially when you get the pretzel bun!

Who still makes homemade cheese sauce? Wert's does! I had the Greg with swiss and an egg. The pickles were great, and once I started I couldn't stop. It was juicy and fresh. The crabby fries with real lump crab meat and homemade cheese sauce were cooked perfectly. A very nice woman named Mary insisted I try her onion rings and they were like nothing I've ever had. The service was great and the patrons were even friendlier. The outside smelled like delicious grilled buns and burgers, and the prices were more than reasonable. Great locally owned restaurant with a lot of history. I'll be back.

First time I went there and I loved the service plus a nice cozy place and attendants are very friendly plus the food was amazing planning on going back again.

Took advantage of their Monday burger special- burger with onion rings and chocolate cake for dessert! Quick seating and service, everyone was very friendly. Good food, would recommend and plan on going again. Plenty of parking which is nice too.

Wow, this place is amazing! Clean, friendly, and excellent food. My husband said the French onion soup was one of the best he’s ever had. The burgers were hot, thick, and flavorful. Sweet potato fries were crunchy and oh so delicious. Family owned, so lots of rich character here. If the line is long, be open to sitting at the bar if you can. It’s worth the wait!

Awsome place! Great food!! I've lived in the area for 56 years, just heard about it on tic toc of all places! Wonderful family run restaurant and bar. 💯 recommend!!!

Can't beat the food. It's a little pricey, but worth it for the most part. Great Burgers. The wait can be a while, there are no reservations.

This must be the local place to be because this place was packed on a Wednesday for dinner, the line was out the door. Good thing we ordered take out after a great day at Dorney Park. Cathy took our order of 4 cheeseburgers and fries that took 25 minutes. The order was fresh and ready to go with a bag full of all of the sides needed. The burgers themselves were excellent. Fresh meat that was covered in cheese. The pickles were good and the French fries were fresh and homemade. Would stop here again.

This is my favorite place to eat lunch or dinner. The service is great, the people are friendly and the food is fantastic.

There will be a wait. Werts is a local favorite. I have come to this place two years in a row. Everytime from here on out it is mandatory. The Cooper cheese they use on the burger sets it off. They would make a killing in Las Vegas with their food. If you come to town and want to try a locals favorite. You're welcome!

Best burgers around. Hands down. Our waiter was awesome.
