Picked up a variety of goodies for in town guests... ate the cinnamon roll. Oh my! Melts like butter in your mouth!

Will and his crew KNOW WHAT'S UP. Anything and everything you see on display and for sale are probably the best you'll ever have of them. Some highlights I highly recommend:

Cream cheese danish (blueberries are my personal favorite to get).
Cream puffs.
Cheesecake (Will will make you any flavor you want).

If you even drive past Sugar Loaf, you need to stop in for a quick treat. It's worth it.

I can't say enough about how nice this bakery is. Chris is excellent and gives great customer service. We were vacationing in Atlantic Beach and pre ordered a special cake Chris did a great job and the cake was delicious. Everyone commented on how delicious and light tasting it was. Highly recommended this bakery.

Friday is homemade bread day! THE BEST bread I've ever had. Cinnamon rolls?? Oh my goodness - you just have to try them. Don't miss this place!!

We had a scrumptious cheese danish here that had a perfect glaze and real blueberries. The smell of baking bread inside is intoxicating!

This place is wonderful! We had a cheesecake made in February as well as a birthday cake in August specially made and we could not be any happier! The owner was amazing and very detail oriented. I told him to make the cake however he wanted and he did such a great job. We will definitely be back!

Excited to try the bakery out under the new owner and was ABSOLUTELY impressed. Highly recommend you make them your bakery go to!

If you’re visiting and anywhere in the vicinity of this awesome shop, GO! The ham and cheese croissant was so good that we came back a second day before leaving just to have it again. They are kind and accommodating. 10/10

Hands down the best chocolate eclair I ever had and I'm over 70 and had more than my share.

My husband ordered a birthday cake for me. I wanted a beach theme. I cake was beautiful and tasty.

I went in today for pie and all she had was peanut butter pie. I tried it wow really peanut buttery. But I was able to get some cake And some cream puffs for the holiday weekend. Such a great pleasant attitude and prices aren't bad either. It's a must try but suggestion is... call ahead and order if you want something specific, like cherry pie or peach pie. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely the best customer service!!! And the Grooms cake was delicious!!! And marking the LADIES tees was perfect!! It was the joke of the rehearsal dinner!!! Teasing the groom that he plays from the ladies tees!! Thank you so much!!!

Been going here for 3 summers, finally wised up and placed an order ahead of time. Cream puffs, all croissants, pies, incredible stuff. Our boys crushed the h&c and pep&c croissants. They custom made a peach pie for us that was a work of art and seems like they will custom make almost anything:)

In town with family and needed a birthday cake ASAP. This bakery is AMAZING. We enjoyed a made to order two layer chocolate cake with buttercream icing. Not too sweet, evenly moist cake, so fresh! Skip the supermarket chains and support small local businesses like this one!

Ah-mazing. Everything was just delicious. Huge cinnamon rolls, flourless chocolate torte, key lime pie, chocolate creme pie, and the banana pillows were just spectacular. Sugar is an ingredient, not a flavor. Everything is highly recommended.

The owner is super friendly, helped me out to the car with all that I bought. And I got a lot, because I had tried one of his cinnamon rolls a couple of days before.

The cinnamon roll was delicate and doughy. The chocolate cake with a Bailey Irish Creme chocolate ganache/mousse on top, was smooth and delicious, and the carrot cake, was one of the best we’ve ever had. None of the items we’ve tried were overly sweet. You can taste the wonderful ingredients.

We also got a pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie to bring up for our Christmas celebration. While we haven’t tried them yet. I’m sure it’s going to be as spectacular as the rest of the items he makes.

Just left the bakery. What an amazing baker, he has been up since two this morning. If you are looking for a sugary no flavor dessert keep driving. It you want a delicious pastry full of flavor with a third of the sugar stop in and talk to Will. I wish he would move to Raleigh, he would be sold out every day within an hour. The best pastry’s we have eaten in a very long time. We had the blueberry cheese danish, key lime pie, pepperoni and cheese croissant and the Irish Cream cake.

Absolutely delicious goodies. Loved the Baileys mousse cake, tiramisu and cream puffs! Can't wait to try more and the homemade bread! Owner was friendly and very accommodating in offering to make anything we suggested. So enjoyed this place!

Sugarloaf did a red velvet cake and mini key lime pies for our wedding in Beaufort. So amazingly good!

His desserts were worthy of every accolade that I am about to describe.
The cinnamon rolls were absolutely heavenly. But that key lime pie would make you slap ya mama. That crust was sweet and crisp under just the right balance of key lime. We also tried the triple berry cheesecake that was a mouthful of freshness. The chocolate mousse cake was so decadent and rich. Each bite will have you ordering another.
If your looking for truly homemade bliss on a plate this is the place to stop and the owner Will is a awesome guy.
