Morehead City Yacht Basin

Highly Recommended Great facilities and amenities, but the best are the dockmasters who go out of their way to help out. If you are new to the area it is worth phoning and getting the benefit of local knowledge. I came in dense fog and the communication from the dockmaster was outstanding.

2023SEPT. Beautiful view from Floyd’s 1921 Restaurant, Bar, & Catering. Gorgeous entry from the Atlantic and the slips are well maintained.

Needed a secure and protected place to leave our boat as we traveled . The Yacht Basin ticked all the boxes. Storm that came grounded everyone for 3 days. We were perfectly safe

We have been to Morehead City before and tied up at the city docks on the ocean side. After staying at the yacht basin, we will for sure be skipping the city docks and coming here instead! Lots of space on the dock, reliable power, friendly and knowledgeable staff, big clean restrooms, two sets of washers and dryers and walking distance to downtown. We were also able to utilize the complementary van to run and get groceries for the next leg of our trip, so we didn't have to ride our bikes in a thunderstorm. Highly recommend staying at this marina!

One of my favorite marinas on the east coast! Great, professional staff, clean, modern facilities and very protected. We've wintered here for the past 4 years and are looking forward to being here again next year. There's allot to do in this area, it's quiet, laid back and full of friendly people.

Been buying fuel there for years. Valvetec diesel and now gasoline for my outboard. Never had a problem with bad fuel and no longer have to add additives. Prices are good and staff are very friendly.

Once again at MCYB for three months this winter. Dockmaster and his crew are the best around. Well maintained, clean facility. Five stars all around.

Mike is a great Dockmaster, meeting us on arrival, explaining the amenities, including courtesy car, wifi(5G), showers, laundry, and rates.

Excellent service and location. Cleans bathrooms/showers. Great stop in between Bellhaven and Wrightsville. Also recommend Southern Salt for dinner!

A beautiful and well protected marina with easy access, nice and clean bathrooms, laundry, a gorgeous lounge, decent internet, friendly staff, a loaner car and many good restaurants within walking distance.

Nice marina, clean bathrooms, well protected. Restaurants close by. Small minimart. Only stayed 1 night so did not resupply.

When we need to stop on transits....this our go to. Good dockage ...crew car...and short walk to Big Rock waterfront area for food and drinks.
