First time trying High Tea Grand Rapids. We’ve never experienced High Tea before and it was a lot of fun! Great decor, and plenty of finger sandwiches, savory items and sweet treats to tempt your pallet! Loved the different choices for Teas too. Our Server Sarah was the highlight of our visit. Very nice, greatly personality! She explained everything in detail and how High Tea works which was appreciated. Thank you, we’ll be back!

Very cool experience. Atmosphere is well done and thought out. Tea choices have something for everyone. The sandwiches/sweets are yummy. Our 4 year old loved the tea party and they had decaf teas perfect for kids.

If you’re gluten free you should come get tea here! Make a reservation ahead of time and it’s so good. They gave me the same options my friends had, so I didn’t feel like I was missing out on any options. It’s also extremely cute inside and the service was phenomenal. Great tea sandwiches, scones, desserts, and tea.

Mom and I went to Grand Rapids High Tea today for their Victorian Tea. From the start we were greeted with a friendly, professional and helpful staff. WARNING: This is designed to be a long, restful warm relaxing environment and experience. If want you want is a drive-through experience select somewhere else. Here you will get the chance to unwind, connect with your friends/family, relax and enjoy great food and outstanding pots of tea. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a time of calm in an otherwise busy world.

We had a lovely time at High Tea GR! We loved trying all of the sweets and savories. I loved the China Rose tea and drank the whole pot! A great place to catch up with a friend in a fancy atmosphere. It’s fun to dress up and go out!

I brought my daughter here for her birthday. We had such an amazing time. The afternoon tea was the perfect choice to celebrate. Our server was very personable and checked in with us often. The savories, which were the tea sandwiches had a balance of flavors that were very tasteful and freshly made. The sweets presented were beautifully created and equal in taste. Our choice of teas paired well with the food. My daughter chose the rose tea. It had a fragrant aroma and tasted of roses of course, but was not over the top in flavor. I chose the English breakfast and was happy with it as well. This was truly a wonderful experience! I highly recommend afternoon tea to anyone looking to create a special time with loved ones. There is also the choice of tea and scones for those who want a lighter fare.

My mom and I went to afternoon tea here today. It was wonderful. We've always enjoyed going to tea, but this was a whole new experience for me; more formal than I've experienced before. We both went with the Afternoon tea which includes an assortment of sandwiches, scones and assorted desserts, and of course tea! As this was St Patty's weekend we had the option of the Irish tea option which subbed different desserts and an Irish bannock for the scone. All of the food was wonderful. The cucumber sandwich was so light and refreshing; the quiche was flavorful. I preferred the bannock to the scone, but both were very tasty and fun to try with clotted cream and jam or lemon curd. We were so full of goodies and tea that we took our desserts to go and I look forward to having them with a cup of tea tonight! The service was wonderful and the tea selection varied. I'm glad I asked our server, Sarah for her recommendation - it did not disappoint. This was a bit of a splurge for us, but so worth it. It's not just a meal, but a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This may be my go to special occasion treat for the future.

Wow what a beautiful and fun dining experience! It was a great time to get a little gussied up and enjoy sitting in an opulent inviting atmosphere. The host and our waitress were so kind and helpful in their explanation of the process and different teas and menu options. The tea sets are GORGEOUS and the amount served in a tray is generous and varied. At first I was skeptical seeing as they are designated as finger foods but my friend and I left full and had to have some goodies boxed! A little spendy but worth the splurge and we will definitely be back. Love!

My husband and I first visited the High Tea GR on November 5, 2023. At that visit we were impressed with the ambient decor and attentive service...but disappointed with the food...enough so that we felt we would not ever return. We had the occasion to be in Grand Rapids over St. Patrick's Day weekend (2024) and decided to give the High Tea GR another try. Again, we enjoyed the lovely space and pretty table decor, and had very attentive service as before...but this time we were very pleased with the food. Everything was tasty and nicely prepared, presented beautifully on the three-tiered tray. The scones were much better...more like a traditional English scone. An extra bonus was meeting the owner Melissa Langley and having a lovely conversation with her. My husband and I were happy we re-visited the High Tea GR and experienced the positive changes made since our November visit...and we look forward to coming back!

We got three gluten free teas and loved them! As a gluten free veteran I really appreciated the food. Some of the best I've had since going gf. Great tea, great vibes. Would definitely go again.

We took our mother for her 83rd birthday and it was fantastic. She loved the delicious sandwiches, scrumptious desert and the softest scone. The lemon curd was creamy a wonderful. Great experience.

Went here for me and my friend birthday and we have zero complaints! From emailing them beforehand for questions I had and reservation to the moment we paid and walked out of the door everything was exceptional! A little nervous of the food choices at first, but we all liked everything that we had. The price is very reasonable. It was a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere! The staff was friendly and patient. The location is nice. I am very pleased with my experience and I heard all my friends say they’d love to go back. Kudos for them bringing something like this to Grand Rapids!

Absolutely loved it! Great food, service, and lovely table settings. I'm gluten-free and they accommodated me so well! I was able to have all the same items that were on the afternoon tea menu. (Be sure to give them a week+ notice so they can be sure to have GF food for you). Can't wait to come back!

I absolutely love getting dressed up and sipping tea with my friends at High Tea. I've been three times already and have brought someone new each time and everytime they love it! The staff is always so kind and attentive. I love how they always ask if we are celebrating anything and genuinely seem to care. The food is always so fresh and delicious. Whoever is in the back continues to do a phenomenal job. The changing menu is so fun to see what's new each season! I also love how some items stay the same though, a little new with a little familiar. Highly highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! It's such a fun concept and just overall a nice time to slow down and chat with your loved ones.

My party of 5 had a wonderful experience at High Tea. Highly recommended for a special occasion or just lunch with friends. Great attention to detail was paid to the table service - gold rimmed cups, saucers, plates, etc. The tea was delicious and there was a large selection. Every morsel of food was prepared with care and the flavors were phenomenal. The owner stopped at our table and shared her vision and story of starting this gem of a restaurant. A delight in every way.

This place is adorable! In a grown up way though. 🤪 We got the most expensive option ($46 I think) which included a pot of tea, with one, maybe two refills, sandwiches, little desserts, and a biscuit. They have lovely, silverware and teapots, it was a sweet little experience.

Delightful time with my 7 year friend. She particularly loved the chicken sandwich, scone with jam and of course the brownie! The pomegranate lemonade was also a hit! I enjoyed all 4 savory sandwiches and my delicious tea! We did not go away hungry! Thank you for a fun experience. We definitely come again❤

Absolutely stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute at High Tea — the atmosphere, the food, the music, the experience! I choose the China Rose tea (my new favorite tea) which was served in an elegant teapot just for me. The food was somehow elegant (can food be elegant?) and so delicious. Both savory sandwiches and sweets were served on a beautiful three-tier-tray. You must try their lemon curd on their scones, and their sponge cake was also amazing. I’m not a world traveler or anything but it all seemed very authentic to British food culture and I sure felt like a royal! :)
